PRAISE THE LORD
Prison Mission Report
Dear Brothers and Sister in Christ,
"The people had been deeply moved by the words of Christ. The divine beauty of the principles of truth attracted them; and Christ’s solemn warnings had come to them as the voice of the heart-searching God. His words had struck at the very root of their former ideas and opinions; to obey His teaching would require a change in all their habits of thought and action. It would bring them into collision with their religious teachers; for it would involve the overthrow of the whole structure which for generations the rabbis had been rearing. Therefore, while the hearts of the people responded to His words, few were ready to accept them as the guide of life." {MB 147.1}
The same is true today. Our churches, our denominations, "my church", "my denomination", "my pastor" has become more important than the teachings of Jesus. That is why the Bible tells us to come out from all the churches and to come back to the teachings of Jesus and Jesus only. For those who would like to learn how to do this, please ask for the book, "Change Your Life Biblically" and the DVD "Bible Basics: 1-4". Both dictated and directed by the Holy Spirit to prepare a people to be ready for Heaven.
Hello Brother John,
First I must say that your Bible study course is fabulous and I have been learning so much. My walk with Christ is a new one and I read any Bible study. I like to see them back it up and one of the things that I see is that you back everything you say with Scripture and history which proved there is truth in what you teach. I thank you for putting together this study to help inform, teach, share and correct new or young and old brothers. Even after we follow the Lord, now and then we all need correction and or reminders to our promises we have made in our moments of tribulations.

Ronald,
Hi. How have you been doing my fellow servant and brother in Christ? I got your letter last night and I thank you for writing. Here are 3 stamps. It is all I could come up with right now, but they are yours to be used in the ministry. Check this out. You know how Jesus says He came to fulfill the Law in Matthew? But most people (Sunday worshipers) say See, He fulfilled the Law. That means He done away with the Law. But in Matthew chapter 3 it says He fulfilled righteousness when John baptized Him. So if fulfilled means to do away with it, then it means He did away with righteousness too. Well, we both know that is not so. But how they stutter when I put it that way. God has been revealing things to me in His Word to fight the good battle and to defend His law. Isn’t that great? :-)
Rodney, CA
Greetings,
I’m writing to let you know that I’ve been moved. They also lost my books and all else. The big part that hurts is I had a friend that was studying with me and that’s lost too. We so enjoyed studying your book together. Satan wants to destroy all. Keep up the good work. You make a difference in everyone’s life.
Asgia-Ji, UT
Dear Brother Ronald,
I finally received your workbook. So far it is very well put together. Your explanation and detail of what the Bible really stands for (the truth) is great. Every single subject that you have explained makes a lot of sense. I found the "Faith & God", "Proof of the Bible" etc., very good, especially with the history part of it. I’ve read the Bible for over 2 years now and I still have a lot to learn. Your workbook has helped me a lot so far. I really appreciate your time and effort to putting this book together. I still can’t believe it’s free. I’ve seen and read some Christian books but there is a price tag on it. I wonder if you would write one for the world? And why just inmates? I’m sure that the world would love your workbook. Thanks again for the inspiring book. I will continue to read it and converse with you through letters and hopefully it won’t be a bother for you to answer some questions or just hearing from me about how great this book is.
Vuong, CA
Hello Ronald,
This is Bernardo. I just like to thank you very much for the book, "Change Your Life Biblically". I need more forms for fellow inmates because all the ones you sent me are all gone. I took the book and the forms to the day room yesterday and I circled the paragraph on hypocrites and let them read it. They all wanted a form. So if you could send me some more forms, I’ll appreciate it.
Bernardo, CA
Ronald John,
I’ve heard nothing but good things from my prison peers about your story, situation and among all being a strong brother in Christ. No doubt, I must commend you in your desire to serve and reach out to those who need help and give some peace and comfort to. In short brother, enclosed are 10 stamps. I would really like to purchase your book and continue to work on bettering our daily lives.
Jesse, CA
Hi,
During my 7 months incarceration I have seen several Bible studies from your ministry being passed around and studied. I would like to be put on your list to receive Bible studies from you. I am new at reading my Bible. And am just beginning to form a relationship with the Lord. I believe in God. He just wasn’t part of my household, or should I say, mentioned in my household on a daily basis as a child. So I never really got to know Him. But I want more than anything to know the Lord and to live the way I should live for Him.
Pam, GA
Dear Brother Ronald,
Thank you for answering my request for your book. Unfortunately I don’t have any help from the streets to pay for your shipping cost. I would really like your book. I met an inmate who had a copy and I was instantly hooked on it. I found it both intriguing and well put together. The inmate left with his copy. So if there is anyway to send me that book, please do.
Mario, CA
Dear Brother Ronald,
Thank you for responding to my letter. What you’ve said, you are totally right. I had chosen those ways like attitudes and life. No one twisted my arm or put a gun to my head. It’s truth. My ex-wife writes me from time to time to tell me how our daughter is doing. She just told me the exact same thing you just did. "Be a man". "Stand UP". "Take control". "Live an obedient life". She told me that she’s tired of other people raising our daughter and that I need to please change. She checked me just as you have. Now here is the bright part. I’ve already did as you have advised me to. I put down the answer sheets already and am just reading the book with that desire. And I’ve started to find a difference in me. When those other thoughts or ways start, I say "no" out loud. It feels so humble to be in this way. I am happy regardless where I’m at now. It’s been about 5 days now that I’ve started to put forth what I’ve learned in "Change Your Life Biblically". Ron, sometimes it’s hard to read here in Ad-Seg because it’s so loud 24/7. People yelling and screaming all day and night. There are only bars in front of the cells so there is nothing to block out the sound. But I found that it was because I was just reading the book and not studying it. My mind was wondering and my ears were being nosey. Now that I’m studying the noise is blocked out. I’m reading with a desire now. Even sentences and paragraphs I read and not quite understood I re-read it. I’m living for Him now and thank you for the advice. It was "confirmation" of what I had already been told by Him when I decided to put down those answer sheets and do it the right way.

Dear Brother Ron,
Since 9 years old I have been mentally and physically abused. Both at home and at school. Was raised (at the age of 5 my dad went to prison and is still there) by two moms (my mother and her "wife"). I’m number twelve out of thirteen kids. Eight boys and five girls. I’m the last girl and then my little brother is the last boy (he is 16 years old). My sister was also the only mother I knew while my real mother was in and out of prisons as a baby growing up. During my rebellious sprees at age 15 I met a guy (way older) who literally beat me into a junkie like him (on meth) then prostitution work. I just need guidance. I just want you to know I got done reading your October 2008 newsletter. I would like to know how many stamps do I have to send to get your book, "Change Your Life Biblically"? My neighbor has your book and gave me the newsletter. I would feel blessed if she let me borrow it. But she only told me parts and bits about it. It has really got me wanting to get my hands on this book. Please I beg of you brother Ron to send me your book. It is so simple and easy to understand the old and new Bible with the help of your book.
Glory, CA
Ron,
Just a few lines to say "Hello" and let you know I got sentenced to 10 years. Don’t bother writing me back cause I should be catching the chain next week. When I get to prison I’ll write with my new hook up and ask for some books. I am dealing with my situation a lot better these days. I am starting to realize that my goal in life needs to be to please and serve God and the rest will fall into place. It’s just difficult at times trying to plan a future when I feel I’m not in control of my future. I have learned so much from your book in the past 2 years. I watched a "Christian" TV show and realized he is making all that money just to be a Christian motivational speaker. It will make you feel good, but you aren’t learning the plan of salvation from him or any sound doctrine. Here are ten stamps.
Danny, CA
Dear Dad,
I received your letter and I am pleased. This letter is very encouraging. I expected to get chewed out. But instead I see the wisdom of what God has been doing. All these years of running to and fro looking for the answers; looking for the proof that I am something more than a piece of garbage. It’s been there in front of my face. Obedience. Wow! The one thing missing in all of humanity. Crying out to God over and over, "Show me". But He can’t show me. "Talk to me." But He can’t talk to me for I lack obedience. I think I understand now. You were always talking about "obey". And Why? A test? All of life is a struggle. From the womb to the grave. There is even struggle in conception. I made it though millions of possibles didn’t. This put the icing on cake. For years I’ve asked God to show His ways to me. I have called for Him to tell me what He wants. Yet He couldn’t because just like with the angel, I wouldn’t listen. But beyond just listening, I wouldn’t obey. I never really understood why you always push so hard for obedience. It didn’t dawn on me until now the implications of that obedience. You see, I truly in my heart didn’t care about what the people say of God. What I wanted was to hear God speak for Himself. I truly desired to walk and talk with the God my faith causes me to believe is real. Not as a test, but rather as a guiding in my own development. I have a good idea of the physical, tangible God, but I have no true concept of the powerful God I serve. This is why I believe you push so hard for humility and obedience. When I ask God to talk to me I want Him to know that I will do what He asks without question. Now get this. This is blind obedience and that’s what I’ve been so scared to give to you. For whatever the reason. What is important is that you understood the true weight of what I am saying. I am trusting you with a huge responsibility that I’ve until late only trusted to myself. That is what scares me in this development. You will be my authority on everything. Now this will be hard for me dad. God gave us free will. For me to obey you blindly is for me to give up the right to judge for myself whether or not you are right. However, the angel said, "Listen to him and don’t leave his side" and that is what I’ll do. I’m sorry I wasn’t able to do it in the past. I love you and thank you for all you’ve done for me.
Your son Jeff, MO
(My son has now been with me for over three months. It hasn’t been easy. He has had 27 years of wickedness and worldly habits to overcome. But little by little, over the past 10 years that he has been in my life and the life of this ministry, God has been working on him and bringing him to this point. Oh the mercy, forbearance and grace of God. Never give up on people. Some just take longer than others. As we treat others, Jesus will treat us. Let us all forgive and love.)
Hello,
I have decided to change my life around and dedicate my life to our Saviour Jesus Christ. The Lord blessed me and celled me up with Bernardo. He referred me to Jesus Christ Prison Ministry. He introduced me to the workbook, "Change Your Life Biblically" and gave me this pamphlet. When I started to read it I read a lot of good information that is very important to know and that will help me lead my life as a dedicated Christian. I would like to know if you can send me a copy of my own?
Gilbert, CA
Hi,
I am currently incarcerated for 6 years. I am 18 years old and I’m trying to change my ways. I came upon your brochure for the free book, "Change Your Life Biblically" and I would like to receive a copy. I am an ex-gang member that decided to drop all of that because it leads to no good and I know that Jesus wouldn’t be too happy with my decisions so far. I’ve grown up thinking gang banging is all right and I now know that that’s not the only option out there. I would like to read some book that isn’t from an organization or a church. I want to see the Bible in a different point of view.
Damacio, CA
Dear Brother Ron,
Howdy. Your "Change Your Life Biblically" sure does get around. A fellow inmate introduced me to your book. I’ve looked through various chapters and liked what I’ve read. I have been blessed with an awesome Christian wife these past 16 years. She isn’t able to get around, especially since I’d got locked up. This is also our first time apart. I depend on the Lord to comfort her and provide her with her needs. That being said, I’d like to request one of your books to be sent to her. There are others here who found interest in your book and ministry. We pray that God will bless you and your ministry abundantly.
Jim, TX
Dear Brother Ron,
Thank you for sending the book, "Change Your Life Biblically" when I was unable to pay. God is great because He provided the book from your ministry and now the stamps to pay you. Thank you and praise Christ with me. I also thank you for the newsletters. I read them and pray for those who contribute to writing in. It is good to hear all the people who come to know Christ and build a relationship with Him with the aid of your book. Brother Ron, you are proof that God loves us prisoners and uses us for His great works. Your book has helped me tons and tons in my walk with Christ. I know 10 was the amount but God laid it upon my heart to give 20 stamps.
Thomas, MN
Hello,
I heard of you guys from one of my friends that’s a Christian. He shared to me the book, "Change Your Life Biblically" because I had told him I want a change in my life. So he recommended this book. He gave me the form to fill out to get the book, "Change Your Life Biblically".
Jose, CA
Dear Brother Ronald,
Thank you for your recent letter. I appreciate the response on my questions from my previous letter. I recently finished your book. I can’t thank the Lord enough that He gave you the revelation to write it. The Bible is the "Truth". The simple break down of the Bible makes a lot of sense especially with facts and historical events. Your book will definitely help me to really dig deeper into my mind when I’m reading the Bible. I am also going to read it the 2nd time (maybe even a 3rd time) before doing the questions. It will also help me to speak the truth when I talk to others. So your book really helps out in many ways. Thanks again for continuing to get your book out to others. I think we need others to know the truth. I pray that I am helping by word of mouth and passing out your pamphlets to help out.
Vuong, CA
Dear JCPM.
A friend of mine named Thomas has a book called, "Change Your Life Biblically". I was fascinated with the information in this book. Someone took a lot of time with the help of the Holy Spirit to write it all down. I would like to know how I can receive a copy of this book.
Michael, AZ
Ron,
This was a wonderful study! Never have I seen such a concise history of our faith and the development of our Christian "practices" so aptly handled. My compliments go to you and I thank the Lord for the blessing of your handiwork. During my parole to this "supervised house", I hope to stay up to date with you and your ministry.
Milton, MI
Dear Friend
A friend of mine has a copy of your awesome book, "Change Your Life Biblically". I’ve been a "Born-Again" Christian since 1977 yet never felt I had to obey God 100%. Well, by what I’ve read in your book so far, I’m seeing the truth for the 1st time! May I please get a copy for myself?
David, UT
Dear Ronald John,
My niece would like to enter your offered Bible course while she is incarcerated. I am going to sponsor her. Please find my enclosed check along with stamps and the form she received from you. I appreciate the program you offer. I am a secretary at a local church and a believer for over 27 years. It makes me happy to see one of my nieces become interested in seeking the Lord.
Debbie, CA (non-inmate)
Dear Ronald John,
I have to be very careful about how I go about putting the ideals in your book into practice. The powers that be here in New York State Prisons are very against this. Trust me, I have already been threatened several times with punishment. But I do use them on a daily basis, I just have to be very covert about it. People have been so brainwashed in their upbringing. All I can do is point out how important the 10 Commandments are and how they impact God’s Judgment. The best example I can give is that here in this prison, they make you get up on Saturday mornings for mandatory clean up. Well, that is my Holy Sabbath day. I have structured it so that it includes a multitude of prayer time, study time and I try to cut out as much frivolous stuff as possible like TV and such. I explained it to my regular C/O and because I keep my area clean by sweeping and mopping and cleaning during the week and especially on Friday, he has seen this and he does not even make me do anything on Saturday morning. I take the time to explain this to several others. There is much confusion on what day is the Sabbath, as you know. I totally agree with your information about obeying the 10 Commandments, stop sinning and be perfect. It is amazing as I talk to people about these aspects that the strange views that they have. I thoroughly enjoyed your "Flash Update". This is a tough battle though as many people really venerate the Pope. I have been through many trying situations with Catholicism through the years. I have been able to use your chapter on the Muslim conquest. I am sure that when you were imprisoned you must have had a large Muslim population. If not, well, let me tell you we have a huge Muslim population here. I have witnessed some strange happenings in regards to this sect. Your chapter was very helpful in that respect although I have to be careful because I do not want to breed any kind of hatred. It has helped me explain to certain people how wrong this sect is though. Personally, I find them to be very unforgiving. Of course I turned to Jesus for examples on this. I have just had to become smarter and more creative in the ways that I am approaching this prison ministry. I have had some very interesting discussions with those in charge of the ministry that is in place. As you can imagine they are very closed-minded in many things.
Ross, NY
To Whom it May Concern,
I received your address from one of my Christian brothers before he left. He told me about a workbook that you give to inmates. I was wondering if I could get a copy of that, please. Also a couple of your brochures because I know I might have a couple other friends that might be interested. Then maybe we can sit down and do it together.
Nathan, WA
Sir,
You have a book out called, "Change Your Life Biblically". For the past 5 months I have been incarcerated. At this time I am not able to buy your book or other ministry information you may have. I was praying you would send me a copy and just as soon as I’m able too, I’ll pay for it.
Michael, CA
Hello,
I must say, "Thank you" for the "Change Your Life Biblically" workbook. I’ve read the Bible for about 12 years. But never really understanding it fully. After reading part one in your book the Bible takes on a whole new meaning. It’s like I’ve never read it before. So thank you. I’ve been reading your book all day every day. That book, whoever wrote it, is a truly blessed person. Thank you for helping me understand.
Josh, CA
Dear Jesus Christ Prison Ministry,
My name is Robert. A fellow inmate here showed me your wonderful book. He gave me this application to get a hold of a copy. I’m 18 years old and my former lifestyle has run me ragged and just ends me up in jail. (Previously Juvenile hall) I realize that I need to change my life and take a new direction. Along with my daily fellowship and Bible readings I feel your book will really help me out for the remainder of my time ... and the rest of my life.
Robert, CA
To Whom it May Concern,
I want so much to get my life back on track. I do not want to spend the rest of my life in prison. I have read some of the letters people have written about your book. I am praying that somehow I may receive it. Hoping it will help me get my life together before I leave this place.
Rudy, CA
Dear Folks,
I borrowed a copy of "Change Your Life Biblically" from a paroling fellow inmate. I only had time to begin to get into it when he had to go and he wanted his book. I want a copy very much. What little I read surely drew my attention. If you would consider letting me have a copy I will surely pay for it as soon as I am released and again working.
Douglas, CA
Dear Brother Ron,
I just wanted to write you to update you on what is going on in my life and how God has been blessing me. I may be going home soon. When I go home, I plan on sending your ministry some money. I’m still reading your book. I’m on volume 3. So far I enjoyed your book. It brings up a lot of interesting points that I have to look into and do some research myself when I get out. God truly has touched my life. I’m no longer the same person I used to be. He uncovered the veil of lies that once covered my face. I was heavily into gangs. I recently dropped out of the gangs and it was the best decision that I ever made in my life. You can’t live two lives. Either you’re going to work for God or for the devil. And "all" gangs are the works of the devil. At least the ones that do criminal activity are. I know now that my calling is to share my experiences with others and help change and bring to God other gang members.
Sal, CA (Parolee)
To Ronald John,
I am writing to hopefully receive your book. My friend told me about it and I feel it will help me grow spiritually. Right now I am facing 4 years and have a strong desire to know the Lord.
Shawn, CA
Dear Jesus Christ Prison Ministry,
First off, I would like to say, "Hi and God bless you all." The reason for this letter is to see if I can receive your "Change Your Life Biblically" work book. I’ve inclosed 10 stamps along with 10 for my cellie. My cellie got his but I need my own.
Richard, CA
God bless good Brother,
I am writing to ask if I could get that book where you talk about the Bible. My cell mate has one but ended up leaving to another facility. Before he left I was reading the book and I like it a whole lot that I had to write you to see if by any chance I could get one.
Joseph, CA
Dear Ron,
I want to thank you for our visit yesterday and your testimony. We enjoyed our visit so much with your parents. I want to send this small check in appreciation of your books and all that you do for others. Thank you again and God bless you and your work.
