PRAISE THE LORD

Prison Mission Report

Dear Brothers and Sister,Dog

“It is heart missionaries that are needed. He whose heart God touches is filled with a great longing for those who have never known His love. Their condition impresses him with a sense of personal woe. Taking his life in his hand, he goes forth, a heaven-sent, heaven-inspired messenger, to do a work in which angels can co-operate.

“If those to whom God has entrusted great talents of intellect put these gifts to a selfish use, they will be left, after a period of trial, to follow their own way. God will take men who do not appear to be so richly endowed, who have not large self-confidence, and He will make the weak strong, because they trust in Him to do for them that which they cannot do for themselves. God will accept the wholehearted service, and will Himself make up the deficiencies.

“The Lord has often chosen for His colaborers men who have had opportunity to obtain but a limited school education. These men have applied their powers most diligently, and the Lord has rewarded their fidelity to His work, their industry, their thirst for knowledge. He has witnessed their tears and heard their prayers. As His blessing came to the captives in the courts of Babylon, so does He give wisdom and knowledge to His workers today.

“Men deficient in school education, lowly in social position, have, through the grace of Christ, sometimes been wonderfully successful in winning souls for Him. The secret of their success was their confidence in God. They learned daily of Him who is wonderful in counsel and mighty in power.

“Such workers are to be encouraged. The Lord brings them into connection with those of more marked ability, to fill up the gaps that others leave. Their quickness to see what is to be done, their readiness to help those in need, their kind words and deeds, open doors of usefulness that otherwise would remain closed. They come close to those in trouble, and the persuasive influence of their words has power to draw many trembling souls to God. Their work shows what thousands of others might do, if they only would.” {MH 150-151}

Dear JCPM,
My name is Alex. I’ve been looking for a new way of life. I’ve had started reading the Bible before but felt lots of things I didn’t understand and still don’t. Well, while in reception an inmate had “Change Your Life Biblically”. I started reading it but had to return it back. Can you please send me my free “Change Your Life Biblically”? There are days I wake up and really feel empty inside. Like a part of me is missing. I really want a change in life. It is hard with lots of negativity in here.
Alejandro, CA

To Whom It May Concern,
I am currently confined and was in conversation today with an old friend which informed me of your book, “Change Your Life Biblically”. He highly recommended it for my knowledge and soul. I happen to be indigent, but would really appreciate a copy of your book.
Carl, CA

Dear Prison Ministry,
I am an inmate and I am trying to get any workbook or any learning material I can get about Jesus or anything that will teach me more about God. I also do not have a Bible. If you all can help me it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and help.
Travis, KY

To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing this note to see if you could please send the book, “Change Your Life Biblically” to an inmate. I am the mom of one of the inmates there who already has the book and found it very interesting. His cellmate would like it so my son asked me if I could bless this inmate and send this book for Him. Here is a check for $10.
Amelia, CA (non-inmate)

Dear JCPM,
My name is Keith. I have been locked up for just about sixteen years. I am not a perfect man, but I do believe. I found your book in the trash. I have been seeking God for a while now and I pick up and read anything that claims to be delivering the gospel. Not many are true - but you - you have truth. I love the truth. I believe in God’s Commandments. At this prison I am alone. Only a couple of other men have told me they also believe in God’s Commandments. But they like I are not able to fellowship or congregate. We need some help. We need someone to come and preach the truth. All we have here are Apostolic and Pentecostals. They claim to have the truth but fail to teach the Commandments of God. Quite to the contrary, they claim Christ did away with the law (The Ten Commandments). I don’t believe like them. They kicked me out of their services. I don’t mind cause they are missing anyway. But there are bits of food so I’ve been going to Jewish services cause at least they talk about God. In a way I know that that’s like going backwards, but at lest they “pretend” to obey the Commandments.

Dear Brother Ron,
Hey, how are things going? I’m doing good. Just wanted to send a letter out to you to let you know I received the “Change Your Life Biblically” today. The package officer brought me the receipt to sign cause I had another book also. But he told me that he forgot to put my bag on the cart. Hey, so he said he will either bring them to me either tonight or tomorrow for sure. I just wanted you to know that it’s here. I was able to pass all those pamphlets you sent to me out. I hope you receive some of them asking for the book. I do not know their names, just that I sent the people that said they were interested. I made an announcement on the tier. I have a homeboy that I think if you write him he will respond. I think it would be a good idea to send him the info on your ministry. His name is Bryan. Just tell him “lilwood” gave you his info.
Richard, CA

JCPM,
My name is Cynthia. I’m very much indigent. Will you please send me the Christian workbook, please. I will like to learn and know more about God. I’ll be so thankful.
Cynthia, CA

Hi,
A brother in Christ gave me your flyer and I am very interested in your book, “Change Your Life Biblically”. And yes, I believe in the Sabbath. Can you please send me your book. I have no money. I would appreciate it very much.
James, CA

JCPM,
Thank you for answering my letter. I don’t have nothing except what I’ve been given here by the brothers. I will show the book off and try to get other brothers to want it as I do. I really want to start a new life. I gave up a gang life. Now I’m always dodging my past. So-called friends are now trying to take my life cause I am a gang dropout. Everywhere I go they don’t leave me alone. When I get out it will start again. God has taken care of me. I can really tell you some stories of how He saved my life. I still can’t help to be afraid of when I get out. I don’t know where to go. Yet I depend on the Lord.
George, CA

Dear Brother Ron,
Thank you for “Change Your Life Biblically”. My mom had sent you stamps. I love your ministry. I want to help you if I can. I wish you can send my mom a “Change Your Life Biblically”. Oh please. My mom will share with my wife and children. I’m really tired of my sinful life, brother Ron. Timothy is my brother and we do Bible studies every day. Tim is very blessed and so are you. Thank you for the book. Me, Timothy and Ray we just started “Change Your Life Biblically” study together. Thanks so much.
Daniel, CA

Dear JCPM,
Please send me a copy of your book, “Change Your Life Biblically”. I heard so much about your book and I’m dying to read it.
Anthony, FL

To Whom It May Concern,
I’m writing you in regards to your workbook, “Change Your Life Biblically”. I’m very interested in this book you wrote while you were in prison. I trust and believe I really need to find the answers in life as you did. It is one of my deepest desires to receive your awesome book you wrote to study and find the answers in it to help me to change my life. I’ve given up gang banging as well in here. I’ve hit rock bottom and I need all the help and assistance in getting my life completely together and on track. Please send me your book, “Change Your Life Biblically”. I’m really looking forward to receiving this awesome life changing book of yours.
Joey, CA

Ron,
What’s going on dad. (Another inmate who calls me dad.) Me, nothing much. Just staying out of trouble. Sorry it has been so long since I’ve written. I’ve been trying to get used to where I’m at. This place is a trip. I’ve already seen some crazy stuff. People around here like to cross people out. What I mean by that is, they will tell the C/Os something just to get someone in trouble. The stuff they are telling them isn’t even true. They are doing it because they don’t like that person. It’s really sad. A lot of dudes in here are miserable and they try to make other’s lives the same. I’ve had dudes try to start stuff with me. I know better. It’s the devil trying to get me to do something to my neighbor. It’s not gonna happen.
Tony, NV

Dear Brother Ronald,
I just received your letter and certificate. Thank you so much for your great letter. As for the Bible, I know funds are limited so the one I have will work just fine. Let that one go to someone who truly needs it. Thank you anyway. And thank you for the great certificate as well. I hung it on my wall to remind me of how much work still needs to be done. For me the certificate is only a small part of the process. Now the real work begins. Taking the truth and sharing it with others so that their eyes and hearts may be open as well. Thank you so much for all your help, guidance and for pushing me to open up. I’ll also send in the web site form as well in my next letter. May God bless you and grant you those things needed to continue your work.
Jesse, CA

Dear Brother Ronald John,
Greetings and God’s blessings upon you and your ministry as always. I was glad to hear from you and read your encouraging letter. I am most thankful to God for blessing me with your personal interest. We have a Christian fellowship going (about 5 of us) with an awesome brother in the ministerial position. We all input, but he brings about the topics and scriptures. We aren’t allowed Bibles on the yard. No books period. So he prepares a study for our benefit in the house. It’s pretty awesome as there are Surenos, Nortenos, Whites, Blacks all Christina fellowship and love. I will close for now. God bless you my brother.
Joseph, CA

Brother Ronald John,
When I received your letter pertaining to the second part of the “certificate” process, I immediately set my mind to ponder inside of this journey. I have learned to live the perfect life of Jesus Christ and obey the 10 commandments! To be sure and certain in the teachings of Jesus and His love and to honor the true Sabbath day. Jesus taught us how to find the correct path and how to obey the law of God. Perseverance, brotherly kindness, the Sanctification and justification that His love has provided for us. I have put the things I have learned from this book into practice through my everyday actions “faith”. The Lord’s commands are simple, yet they are the greatest that mankind has ever heard or known. Obey and live perfect. Honor the Sabbath day. CYLB teaches the first steps to learning truthful and righteous knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Gilbert, TX

Dear JCPM,
Thank you for writing to me. I am grateful to God that He has His hand on all things. When I found your book (someone had thrown it away) I thought it might be just some old hogwash. But for some reason I began to read it. Maybe I was bored. But the first thing I looked for was - did you teach all the Commandments - and I discovered that you do. So I know the Holy Spirit is with you. I don’t believe in luck or coincidences, I believe in God Almighty and I aim to be a faithful man. I wish only to be able to obey and live my life in obedience to Him.
Keith, CA

Dear Brother Ron,
I wrote to you a few months back requesting the workbook, “Change Your Life Biblically”. I was in reception at the time. I am completely indigent and I am being truly honest sir. But I would still like to receive your study book if you could help me out it would be greatly appreciated.
William, CA

Dear Brother,
Thank you so much for your pamphlet and your correspondence. I am indigent and very poor. But I am rich in faith and am asking please send me your workbook. I would really appreciate it and be blessed if you would send it to me. I will be glad to pass out the pamphlets you send me. Thanks again for your love in Christ and all you do for prisoners who love our Lord Jesus Christ.
Morgan, CA

Dear Jesus Christ Prison Ministry,
Recently one of my fellow Christians let me use his “Change Your Life Biblically” book. But he went upstate. I’m indigent and have no one to help me out. If you can please send me a copy, it would be a big blessing.
Paul, CA

Hi,
I got the newsletter and I saw and read a letter from one of our inmates here. I was really surprised to read it. I don’t know why but I was. He has really helped me with my walk of faith. He was the guy that gave me the envelope so that I could get this started. “Change Your Life Biblically” really had me at a stopping point for about two weeks. I thought that I had to mail some answers in. But Preston told me that the questions I was answering were for my benefit. Well, last night I got back into “Change Your Life Biblically”. I would also like to send some money but I don’t have any yet. You can be assured that as soon as I do I will send in some so that I can help the program.
Robert, IN

Dear Brother Ron,
Thank you for sending me your book, “Change Your Life Biblically” and for the newsletter. What little I have read I have gained in more knowledge about Jesus and the religion He founded. Have you ever thought about coming out East to Indiana and seeing a couple of jail birds interested in meeting with you? Preston and I could use some company. You know how it is in here. It’d be an honor and great privilege to meet with you one day. Thanks for the books and I look forward to your newsletter.
Billy, IN

Dear Brother Ron,
Hey, hello. Yes, I was transferred. I’ve been staying really busy educating myself and as well helping others as much as I possibly can. I’m enjoying reading this great workbook. I’m going to learn a lot as well. I got a few Christian believers here in that might be interested as well in your workbook. I’m going to go ahead and get a hold of some of them and give them some flyers. That way they can get a workbook off of you as well. Alright? God bless you as always brother Ronald.
Victor, CA

Hello,
I am a Bible study leader here at the prison. Someone passed me your book and it was a blessing for me to get a new revelation of God’s Word and how to apply it to my life. I would love if you can send me one book for each man in my group as we search God’s Word and try to get a better understanding of the Bible. I believe it would be very beneficial to us all to do a study on your book. However, I would need about 9 books to enlighten all of us as we establish to become walking testimonies of what Jesus Christ accomplished here on earth, which is to become perfect and sinless so we can go out and preach His word.
Ray, CA

Dear Brother Ronald,
I am writing to you because I am unfortunately indigent. I was a ward of the state before I was incarcerated. I do not have family, parents or anybody to help me financially. Also, I am writing to you because I am interested in what you wrote in the green letter stating “the ministry has an opening for a young man, 18-23 years of age, who would love to spend his life working for Jesus at the ministry.” Well, I am very much interested. I have completed 2 other high school courses. I love God and am utterly and solely devoted to God. Plus, I am 19 years old. If you would please tell me more about it and how I could become that young man to fill that position. I would appreciate it very much.
Charles, KY

(The following are email exchanges between Tomi, my daughter in the Lord, and a co-worker of her’s.)

Co-worker:

What? I thought I had to return the book to you.

This is why it’s taken me so long to read it. I only read it during breaks and most of the time, I work through them so I haven’t gotten far into the book. Now, I can take it home to read at night. Thanks!!

The book is quite interesting and informative since, as you know, I’m not Christian and only know about Christianity through what I hear from friends/TV and other reading material. I was born into the Buddhist faith but really practice and believe in nothing.

But I’ve always been interested in religions (of the world) and wanted to take a college course in it one day… Thank Juan for me too! I know the book/CDs cost you money. Is there a church/organization that I can make a donation to? Let me know…or can I just pay you and Juan for the book.

Out of curiosity, what made you give me the book in the first place? Have you shared this with others OR am I special? hahaha
Co-Worker

Tomi:
You know you are special to me, you are the first person I gave a book to at work. Juan has been the one who has passed out the book to others here at work. This book is really special to me and we wanted to share with people that we know are willing to read it and enjoy it.
Is there a church/organization that I can make a donation to? You can go to the web site and you can make a donation if you like and they also have the address or I can get it for you.

Here is the web site www.jcpm.com

Thank you for reading the book it means a lot to Juan and I. And as you read the book you will understand why we don’t go to Church or any Organization. We just follow the law of God which is the ten commandments it’s that easy. I love this whole thing because it’s so humble; there is no show nor whistles to come and join. All you have to do is walk with God and He will hold our hand as we walk with Him.

Thanks again for being such a good friend

(This book, “Change Your Life Biblically” was dictated and directed by the Holy Spirit. He dictated it especially for our day and time in earth’s history. Those who read and obey will be saved. Those who refuse will perish. This is the voice of one crying in the wilderness to make straight the way of the Lord. I pray that more and more will open their eyes and ears to see and hear what God is saying in these last days.)

Dearest Ronald John,
I’m here at this Rehabilitation center. The reason I’m writing this letter is because I’m tired of being a number and doing life on the installment plan. I’ve been doing this for 8 years. Dragging a wonderful wife and 3 beautiful children along with me. My wife has been with me for 17 years and I’m feeling like I sometimes don’t deserve her to love me the way she does. She’s here still for me. But I should be out there being a husband and father. I know that one of my most important jobs is to teach my family about God like ti says in the Bible, but I need to get right first. I have a good friend named James in here that showed me the book, “Change Your Life Biblically” and I would like to please have a copy of that book. If it is not too much trouble. I want to be the man that God wants me to be. I feel this book will help me achieve this goal. Thank you for your time.
Jerry, CA

Greetings,
I am a Christian and have finally decided to change my life. I was wondering if you could bless me with your book, “Change Your Life Biblically”? Recently I came across the book but it isn’t mine and I will have to return it. I would greatly appreciate it.
Edwin, CA

Dear Mr. John,
Hi. I am writing you about the Bible studies. I really would like to do them. Unfortunately at this time I am indigent. I will not stay this way as I do occasionally receive outside help. I was wondering if I could start the studies and send the stamps when I get them? I know you help people who can’t pay, but I can, just not at this time. Your letter says if I am totally indigent to ask but what I am asking for is just a delayed payment.
Rhonda, TX

Dear Ron,
Things have been interesting here. Money is in short supply at the moment and it seems as thought it isn’t getting easier. But I know that it will once the changes involved in moving to this apartment stabilizes with much planning ahead. All things are better for me. :-) By careful management of my resources I can take care of all necessities and still tithe. Actually, I have been tithing you above my income. And what happened? My VA pension increased almost to the amount I tithed over my income. Imagine that! So God was way ahead of me for this move.
Joseph, TX (Ex-inmate)

Hi,
I heard about your prison ministries through a friend. I was born in San Diego but my roots are from Somalia in the Horn of Africa. I’m the first ever, from my family and generations of generations of Muslims to ever study the Christian’s faith. I’m really starting to understand Jesus Christ. But now I’m in need of a little help from you. I’m also requesting the book, “Change Your Life Biblically”.
Arab, CA

Dear JCPM,
I would like to request a monthly newsletter and the workbook, “Change Your Life Biblically” and any other Christian material. Thank you for your time.
Oscar, AZ

The pure air, the glad sunshine, the flowers and trees, the orchards and vineyards, and outdoor exercise amid these surroundings, are health-giving, life-giving.

How grateful to the invalids weary of city life, the glare of many lights, and the noise of the streets, are the quiet and freedom of the country! How eagerly do they turn to the scenes of nature! How glad would they be to sit in the open air, rejoice in the sunshine, and breathe the fragrance of tree and flower! There are life-giving properties in the balsam of the pine, in the fragrance of the cedar and the fir, and other trees also have properties that are health restoring.

To the chronic invalid, nothing so tends to restore health and happiness as living amid attractive country surroundings. Here the most helpless ones can sit or lie in the sunshine or in the shade of the trees. They have only to lift their eyes to see above them the beautiful foliage. A sweet sense of restfulness and refreshing comes over them as they listen to the murmuring of the breezes. The drooping spirits revive. The waning strength is recruited. Unconsciously the mind becomes peaceful, the fevered pulse more calm and regular. As the sick grow stronger, they will venture to take a few steps to gather some of the lovely flowers, precious messengers of God’s love to His afflicted family here below. {MH 263-4}

I would like to thank each of you who expressed your sympathy for the loss of my mom. It has been a trying time. She was so full of life. Like Jesus, always a word of encouragement and sympathy and love. I pray that this ministry can share that love to all it comes in contact with.

I want to thank each of you for your love and support over the years. 2010 was the first year we broke even. We are now praying that God will provide more donors to help us pay off the debt.

You should find a DVD in with this newsletter. If not, please let me know. If it doesn’t work, please let me know. God bless you all.

Ron

The Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does He withhold from those whose walk is blameless. Psalm 84:11
