Prison Mission Report!

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ:

Here we are coming up on nine years of serving the Lord. How wonderful it is to work for Jesus. Are there problems and difficulties and trials? Of course. Do we despair and give up? Not at all. God has stood by this little ministry and has walked us step by step to this point. How awesome is His care for those who love and obey Him.

Dear Ron,

Thank you for your promise that you will send me another five cases of your books. May the good Lord continue to bless you as you have chosen to do His work. I have this appeal to make, I would be much grateful if you would be happy to work with me here in Ghana and also if you could send me books for my own library. Thank you. Hoping to hear from you soon for me to know what to do.

Yours in Christ

Pastor Amos, Ghana, West Africa

Hello Brother Ron,

Again I thank you for the help you and "Change Your Life Biblically" has done for me over these past few months. Also, let me know that you have been getting the tithe I have been sending to you.

Patrick, LA

Dear ?

I would like the book called, "Change Your Life Biblically". A friend of mine here in prison showed me his and I would like one. I am a Christian and I am always looking for good books to read. I am enclosing $1.75 for handling. I hope that is enough.

Willard, IA

To The Jesus Christ Ministry,

One night coming out of the prison chapel after a Bible study, one of our very "rude" officers decided to turn off the lights so that we would not venture into the book shelves. Therefore we could only see the light from the outside of the exit door. I just reached toward the shelves and grabbed the first book I touched. I glanced to see the cover which revealed to me a cat upside down with a Bible. It said, "Change Your Life Biblically": and that it has. Please, Please send me the original copy to this extraordinary book. I know that the Holy Spirit led my hand to this book because God is sifting through His harvest and bringing up a new breed of revolutionary preaching. I’ve been to prison 7 times. I plan to some day visit the man who wrote this book. Some of the things I already knew but just wasn’t sure how to explain them. Now they are clear, such as the Sabbath day. And saved by grace has never really fit into logic saying that the cross covered our sins so we can keep on doing whatever. It didn’t make sense because if sin is what separated us then surely we must do something to get back right with God: stop sinning, be perfect and keep the 10 commandments. I’ve stopped going to the chapel. Thank you Jesus and may the Jesus Christ Ministry be blessed.

Phyllis, TX

Dear Sir,

Thank you for your response to my letter. Here are the 10 stamps for the study. I really appreciate you, your time and your assistance.

Aaron, MD

Dear Friend,

I have read "Change Your Life Biblically", but there were so many pages missing that I am feeling left out. It was a floater book given to me by a friend. And I totally understood the understanding of Jesus’ love and obeying the commandments. Please, if you can, send me my own book so that I can really study because the only one book that I did read had much of it missing and it disappointed me. But I loved the parts that I did read and I agree. There was a lot I didn’t know. There’s a lot I need to learn. I want to be a part of the team too. So, please send anything you can. The book is so old, I hope this is still the address to write. My wife would love a copy and I know that we can possibly make a donation.

Jason, CA

Dear JCPM,

I am writing to you to request the Jesus Christ Prison Ministry Book. I have been locked up almost 9 years and have 5 to go. I have very uneasy feelings with a group of 5-8 who are gathering in my dorm. They are all "big church goers", always in the chaplain’s face and several even steal from her. She chooses to turn her head to their faults. When they meet on my range they all "talk in tongues" and insist that any newcomers do the same. I was told they put their hands on newcomers and try to persuade them. I’m 59 years old and a Christian. I don’t feel these women are doing right. They say you’re not a Christian and are scared of the Holy Ghost if you don’t talk in tongues. We have had heated discussions and I just stay away from them. All my life I worshipped in churches with reverence, respect and awe of God. A fellow inmate has your book and Bible study and showed me your opinion on the subject. We agree! She said to send 10 stamps to receive one. I trust it will give me more insight into my questionable surroundings.

Tommy, GA

Dear Ronald John,

I received your letter telling me you received my request for "Change Your Life Biblically". I am enclosing 10 stamps for the mailing of the books. I also would like you to know Marvin said "hi". He is the one who gave me your address to sign up for the Bible study. I am looking forward to doing the study. I will pass out your address to the guys on this yard that are looking to do a Bible study.

Edward, CA

To Jesus Christ Prison Ministry,

Thank you for this awesome workbook. It’s totally amazing. I’ve learned so much from it and each time I reread it I find something new. Whenever anyone asks to read my book, I give them one of your applications and tell them that I study mine. Also, I really enjoy the newsletters. You have answered my questions in the workbook on talking in tongues. Here at Metro some older women have formed these circles of talking in tongues. It scared me. Now I really understand what it means, "we are in a war." Now I just study your workbook and pray to God and go to my Bible studies. Thank you so much. I appreciate all you have taught me. It was one thing for me to get saved. Now it’s been crazy for me trying to figure out what’s real and what’s false teachings. So I’ll stick to your teachings and stay away from all this false teachings here at the prison. Also, thank you for all your prayers and your letters. Yes, now I’ll look at this place as a foreign land and be a missionary :-). Thank you. Now I’ll leave my parole to God and do what He wants while I’m here. I’m still working in my workbook. I’ve been reading and reading and digging in the Bible. You have really turned my bunks. Now instead of a boring place it’s my desk. On my bunk is all my tools: the Bible, your workbook and my paper, folders and highlighters. I’ve enjoyed hours of learning real truths. Now I don’t find myself so lonely or having so many pity parties for myself. Now I’m hungry for more of the truths. I appreciate your truth you are teaching me.

Neva, GA

Dear Jesus Christ Prison Ministry,

I would like to ask if you could please send me and my girlfriend who is also in prison a free workbook. It would mean a lot to us and help us both in our daily walk with Christ.

Eugene, GA

To Whom it may Concern,

I am writing this letter to inform you that I received the Bible course that you sent to me. I would like to thank you also for the newsletter that you also send to me. I would like to continue to receive these newsletters as they are very informative. I am looking forward to doing this Bible study. I would like to thank you for all your help now and in the future.

Kelly, CA

Dear Friend,

My name is Nicholas. The enclosed form was given to me from a fellow inmate out of a letter that you sent to him. I’m interested in your workbook. But there is a problem. I’m unable to send you the $3 from the trust fund because I don’t have it. My fellow inmate said he tried to send you 10 stamped envelopes and the institution sent them back to him. Thank you for taking the time to read and consider this letter.

Nick, IL

Dear Sir,

I have been reading a copy of your book, "Change Your Life Biblically". I borrowed it from another inmate and would love to have a copy of my own. I will be released in a few weeks. Could you please send a copy to my home? The book is so well written and easy to understand. I have been using it hand in hand with my NIV Bible. Your book has given me new insight on Jesus’ Word. May God bless you and thank you for helping your brothers and sisters in need of God’s message. When I get home and get reestablished I would like to send you a donation for your kindness and your wisdom. Thank you again.

Darwin, KY

Brother John,

Thank you so very much for the book you sent me. I love the way it explains itself. And I like what other people say. It truly is fun to read. It convicted me when I read it. And all the statements made are supported by scripture. To be honest it was the second best book I ever read. Most of the brothers I talked to don’t agree with your book. Most of the Christian world believes too much, or better yet, they put extreme emphasis on grace and none on obedience or accountability. I can go on and on but you know all this. I hope I didn’t bore you. Here’s a couple of stamps for you bro.

Big Joe, CA

Mr. John,

First off, thank you for the workbook and your letter which have both been received with great pleasure and appreciation. I will begin work on "Change Your Life Biblically" this week. Thank you and I will send the remaining seven stamps as soon as possible.

Rudy, CA

Dear Brother Ron,

Again, thank you very much for taking the time to write such a wonderful letter. Thank Him for bringing Juan Beltran to handle the Hispanic ministry side of the house. This will surely open the floodgates of knowledge to so many more folks who are also starving for the awesome Word of God. And from the story in your November newsletter, Juan has worked with you in the past and knows the ins and outs of the job he is taking on. Thank you Juan for taking this giant leap of faith and dedicating your life to the service, true service, of the Lord.

Mike, GA

To Prison Ministry,

Thank you for this study I’ve completed as best I could. Been a real eye opener. I still am in awe at the lies I’ve been taught all my life. Your study has released the truth finally. I’ve known deep down there had to be more to Jesus than what these people try to preach to me. I’ll continue to study your book. Your words make more sense than this prison religion. You are an awesome teacher. This Bible study has been awesome. It has really opened my eyes. It scared me on a few points. For what I thought I believed or was taught wasn’t the truth. What is being taught in this prison isn’t the truth. I for one don’t agree and can turn away but others refuse to listen. So it’s to no avail. I’m still learning from your book. I can’t put it away for I learn so much each time I pick it up. Thank you so much. I can’t believe this study took me beyond what I thought I knew. Now it’s I that question others. From now on I’ll analyze and research and pray before I agree with any teachings that I feel like isn’t from God.

Neva, GA

Dear Ronald,

My name is Jean. Another inmate here in the prison let me read your book. I really enjoyed it. I’m writing to ask if I can receive a book also.

Subject: Ministry to the prisons

Appreciated brothers in Christ. I am Shepherd of the Adventist Church. For one year and a half we have a Ministry in the jail of Dolores’s city with a group of 12 interns with which we meet every Saturday to have the Sabbath School and a Preaching. By the grace of God this year 2 of them were baptized. Please, if you could, send me information on the Ministry in the prisons.

Thank you may God bless you,

Shepherd Luis Becedillas, Uruguay

The Lord has blessed in providing us with 40 gigabits of space on our ISP. We will be putting up video clips and other interesting media presentations. Those who don’t have a computer can access our web site through your local library or from a friend’s house. Working for the Lord is awesome.

Dear Brother Ron,

Please forgive me my brother for the long wait on my response. But I’ve been keeping myself busy lately so as not to think much about what happened to my mom. Mom passed away in October and I wasn’t informed of her decease until much later because my siblings felt it would be more proper to wait until they would see me before informing me of the lost: and not wanting me to hear it on my own with a "15 minute" phone call.

Samuel, CA

Dear Brother In Christ,

I’m really hungry for God here. A while back I read a scripture and for days I read the book of Daniel and prayed. One day I got a new celly who had read some of your material and explained some of it to me as best he could because he had his book at home. I got your address from him. I do Bible studies here in my dorm and I need deeper knowledge and understanding. Can you please help me.

Rogelio, CA

Jesus Christ Prison Ministry,

Good to hear from you people. I am sending you two of my financial statements in order to show you that I am indeed indigent. Please put me on your mailing list to receive your monthly newsletter. I’m only allowed out one hour every other day to shower. So, without money on my books my means of earning stamped envelopes are rather few. But, I have a few ideas. Lord willing, as I save up ten envelopes I send them right off to you people. However, please be patient on me. This might take a minute.

Mitchel, UT

Dear JCPM,

My name is Juan. This is my 3rd prison term and every time I get incarcerated my term has gotten longer. I recently turned 35 years old and I can say that I’m tired of being tired. You see, I’m a drug addict who grew up in a neighborhood where I got involved in gangs, drugs sales, etc. Back in 2004 I accepted to try to give Christianity a try. Thanks to a brother who was a Christian. While at my work assignment in Vocational skills electronics I came across a book called "Change Your Life Biblically". The person who owns the book ended up transferring to another prison. I did write down the address to attain this book. My hopes are that I can receive a free copy of this book. I was able to read a chapter of volume one before this inmate transferred and I just wish I had this book. I want more wisdom and knowledge of God’s Word and I did receive that when I began to read it. Can you please send me "Change Your Life Biblically".

Juan, CA

To Whom It May Concern:

I have been working on your workbook you sent me and I have learned more than I ever knew. Thank you so much for "Change Your Life Biblically". But that really isn’t why I’m writing. I’m writing because I’m concerned about a friend of mine in here. He has been having troubles with other people. Other inmates mess with him physically and sexually. They sexually harass him and try to rape him. But I always have to protect him. He is thinking about ending it all. That’s not all. He has no one to write to. He needs a pen-pal. He needs to know that other people care about him other than just God and I. He is only 19 years old and soon to be 20. I’m around his age so I get picked on too. But I’m more worried about him. He just found out that his sister has been beaten by her husband/boyfriend and has her life threatened if she calls the cops. Can you write to him and try to comfort him, please? Thank you very much.

James, ND

To Whom This May Concern:

I have seen a copy of your book "Change Your Life Biblically". I found the book to be very easy to read and understand and enlightening. I would love to request a copy of this book, if you don’t mind, and are able to send me one. I cannot pay you for the book or for the postage at this time while incarcerated. Another inmate here is the one who introduced me to this book and he loves it. He has also helped lead me back to the Lord as I have fallen back from Him a bit in time. I feel your book would also help me out.

Daniel, TN

Dear Ron,

I was a person who needed "proof" or verification for many of my questions. You have provided many if not all for me and them being scriptural as well as scientific. I thank you for following the Holy Spirit to start and continue to reach out to us inmates who generally are considered "a lost cause" by so many whose hearts are hardened. Would you please continue to be our eyes and ears until we can also eat "solid food". Please pray for my children to overcome addictions and illnesses.

Sylvia, AZ

Dear JCPM,

I wrote to you back in May of this year requesting your workbook, "Change Your Life Biblically". I received your letter requesting 10 stamps and I just kept putting it off. But lately my hunger for the Word has me trying to get all the knowledge I can. I have enclosed 10 stamps. Please send my workbook and any other information you have.

Dorothy, TX

Dear Brother Ron,

I would like to say "Thank you" for this book, "Change Your Life Biblically". It has really opened my eyes to the Word of God. I’ve learned so much from your workbook. I can’t give enough thanks. You’re really a blessed man of God. I hope to be where you are someday. I’m gonna keep reading every chance I get. Also, I will be going home sometime next year and your book is going to help me with my walk in Christ. I got the newsletter tonight. I love the work you’re doing and by helping others in need.

Timmy, FL

Dear Ron,

I am enclosing a money order or whatever it is they cut at prisons for the amount of $25. These are my tithes for the past while. I know I’ve been blessed since last we spoke as well as my state pay. I’m sure this will help cover my tithes that I’ve fallen behind on. I do not know of another place that is so deserving of God’s blessings. You and this little ministry have been a great help and a huge part of my life for almost two years now. I pray that God will continue to bless and keep this work going until His return.

Vincent, NY

The following letter came from one of our very dear donors. He writes:

"Dear Ronald John,

Aloha Friend, praying that the Lord is leading you each day to better serve Him. We serve a mighty God who has done all He could and is doing all He can to save a lost world.

It’s always a blessing to receive the monthly newsletter and see how Jesus is turning men and women’s hearts towards home. This old world is not our final home and we can thank the Lord for that.

I have a request to ask of you. A friend of mine has been asked to serve as the first chaplain at the Seminole County Juvenile Jail here in central Florida. If possible could you send us six copies of "Change Your Life Biblically" so he could share and work with these young men and women more effectively?

David, FL

Unfortunately I had to say no to the six books. Instead I sent him a case of 42. Far less expensive to send a case. May God bless his work with the youth there.

Dear JCPM,

I have changed a little because I don’t do the things I used to do. Because I used to kick the door all day and fight people. Until I got this little book I started reading it. I had to change my life because I was going to meet the devil’s angels and I don’t want to go to hell. I want to go to heaven and have fun. You can’t have fun where it’s hot. I just don’t want to be lost. May Jesus Christ Ministry send me some free study books so I can get my life together. When I was reading the book it was so understanding to read. I thank you for helping me because I didn’t get one of the study books.

Gregory, TN (Juveniles)

Dear JCPM,

Please send me about 30 applications to your Bible study. Everyone wants mine and if they had their own application it would be a blessing.

Jim, CA

This next letter comes from an inmate who paroled from prison not too long ago.

Dear Ronald John,

I would like to start by saying "Thank You" for the DVD that you sent me. I have watched it twice already and am looking forward to watching it again. I have picked up something new each time that I have watched it. I also received the case of books that you sent. Thank you. I am in the process of trying to start a Bible study with some friends just like you suggested. It was a real surprise when I received a whole case of books. I didn’t expect that. I just figured that you would send me a few books. The people that I have talked to about your book have all been very receptive and interested in what I have to say about your book. I sing the praises of this book every chance that I get. Bet on that. As far as I am concerned, this book cannot be given enough credit. I truly admire your ministry for publishing this book. I just want you to know that I am putting all that you sent me to very good use. Thank you for all of the encouragement that you have given me in the past, and are continuing to give to me. Sometimes it helps to just have someone that I can write things to. You will find enclosed a check for our monthly contribution to help support your fine ministry.

Mark, CA

We have sent over 30 Cases to West Africa. We need your continued help and support in order to continue meeting the requests of these wonderful missionaries for Jesus.

Thank you for your support,

Ron, Director
