Prison Mission Report!

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ:

This new year is beginning to look awesome for the Lord’s work. We have much to do this year. First, let me share an e-mail I received from a lady.

"My name is Leticia Castillo, and I have a pen pal/friend that is locked up in Texas. I have been raised in a Christian environment but I was the typical "Sunday only Christian" and a worldly person the rest of the week. I am changing my life around and am pretty new to being a Christian and setting an example. I found your web site because I am printing bible studies for my inmate friend. Your lessons are also helpful to me, because I am going through a lot of temptations and trials. My question is what do you recommend for me to also send my friend. Is it possible to send him your newsletter also? Will it help him? Are there any books or other material that you recommend for me or for him? I am new to all this and he’s a new believer. He is also struggling with a lot and I feel so helpless because it’s hard for me to practice what I say. I don’t want to be a hypocrite. Thank you for taking your time to read my e-mail. God bless you,

-Letty"

God has been so good to us. From all over the world we are getting requests for this book, "Change Your Life Biblically". The Holy Spirit has truly created a wonderful book. This came from Ghana.

Dear Sir,

I shall be very grateful to you if you can send me copies of "Change Your Life Biblically" as many people I share the gospel message with are yearning for the Sabbath truth and prophecies pertaining to the last days. I hope this, my humble requests, will be considered in Jesus’ name.

George

Obuasi, Ghana

We are planning to send him 10 cases. We are praying that God will touch hearts to send us the $500 it will take to send these 10 cases of books. That is just the cost of shipping. We would need another $2,000 to replace the books.

Dear Brother John,

A friend of mine sent me some info about an exciting Bible study that you have. I am writing to be enrolled into it. Please send me the "Change Your Life Biblically" Bible study.

Allen, OH

Dear Director,

Thank you for answering some of my questions. I have enclosed the 10 stamps because that’s a small price for a book I pray changes my life. I’m a three striker that the Lord has blessed and received 12 years after having 29 to life. I do look so forward to the book because I have a great deal of trouble reading my Bible and understanding it. Thank you again.

Lenny, CA

Whom it may concern:

I have just now come across your book, "Change Your Life Biblically". I’m presently in prison. I will be released in the latter part of this month. I am really interested in receiving your book, however, I will not be here to receive it. Could you possibly send it to my home address? I have checked your book out of the library and must return it. I have only been able to skim through it because other prisoners are waiting in line to check it out.

Melia, ID

Dear Brother Ron,

Well, first off, let me say that your ministry has opened my eyes up to the truth of the teachings of Jesus Christ. Glory to God! This is my second letter I have wrote to your ministry in the past two months. Today I’ve received your newsletter and I enjoyed reading all the letters that people around the United States in prison and in society have wrote about your book "Change Your Life Biblically", including my first letter. I know that Jesus will make a way for your ministry to continue on because all of the lives that has been brought to the true teachings of His word tells me so: Stop sinning, be perfect and keep the Ten Commandments. I never knew God’s Word when I was in the free world and now with the help of your ministry in the true teachings of Jesus Christ I not only know the truth, but I live the truth in my everyday walk with Christ. I have been in prison since 1991 and I still have many more years to do in prison right now, but now that I have been called to my home in the Kingdom with Jesus, I can live the last days of my life with joy and peace in the name of Jesus. Again, I thank you. I will be sending my tithes and offerings in my next letter as the Lord blesses me through my family.

Patrick, LA

Dear Brother Ron,

Enclosed are 2 forms for "Change Your Life Biblically". Both are indigent inmates. Can you please send them the book? They did not have stamps so I decided to mail their forms for them. Thank you! Josh and I tried to get a Bible study group together but it got denied by the facility chaplain saying that "Change Your Life Biblically" doesn’t agree with his beliefs. He is Pentecostal. So we will continue to do the study individually and discuss it as we go. I was thrilled to see my letter in the September Newsletter.

Christopher, NY

My Dear Friend and Brother Ron,

You know, it is on one hand such a great feeling to see God working in our lives; how the Holy Spirit guides us, isn’t it? But why do I keep falling into old thoughts and all that garbage? I know He wants me to find Him or why has He brought you in my life? Even after I butted you off, the Holy Spirit worked in me and brought me back to you, Ron. I am thankful for it. I still have problems. Even you offered it to me, to tell you all my problems and all. I know it’s what we ought to do as brothers in Christ, yet I have trouble to do it. To give you more to "worry" about on top of your own troubles. You see, I had contact to a sponsor from a group like AA. It started all good. I told them how much I wanted recovery. I got a good feeling by that person. Then I got more into details about my addiction and ever since I wrote many letters to the sponsor and the main office and haven’t heard a word back yet. It hurts. It is a huge step back for me to trust people. Now you come along and you are the first and only person I told what I wrote in my last letter. I am not sure if I can trust you 100%, yet must take the "risk", I believe I can. On the other hand, I need someone to talk to. I believe God brought us together for a reason. Here in prison it is hard to find mature and trustworthy men. Even "so-called" Christians. But I am not telling you something new now. You know what I am talking about. My dear friend, I wrote a lot again, but it helped me too. Thank you very much for being there for us all. You sure are a blessing Ron. Please find enclosed 10 stamps. I did study a long time on your Tithe & Offering section. I changed my way of doing it from just 10% to 25%. What shall I say? At first I thought I can’t do 25%. Well, it is so easy and yes, our Lord provides all you need, just as He promises us. I thank you one more time for opening my eyes on this subject too!!

Stefan, MN

Dear JCPM,

I have learned so much from this workbook "Change Your Life Biblically". This book has opened my eyes to the true teaching of Jesus. I never really read the Bible on the streets or in prison over the past 13 years until early this year. The Lord has brought me out of the darkness into His light and I can honestly say from my heart that I love the Lord and have stop sinning, be perfect and keep the Ten Commandments (7th day Sabbath). I just like to thank you for writing this workbook not only for myself, but for the many of people in this world who after reading this book, "Change Your Life Biblically" have come to the true knowledge of the Word of God and have not hardened their hearts.

Patrick, LA

Dear JCPM.

I found your book, "Change Your Life Biblically" and found them moving. I wrote to the address in them and you had moved. Luckily some of the others had not and I got your new address from one of them. I am interested in the course as it was. If it has changed it might be even more interesting. Please send info on your work now.

D. H., TX

Dear John at Jesus Christ Prison Ministry,

I want to thank you for your follow up letter and to let you know I’ll be here until 2008 and want to receive your monthly newsletter. Also, if you have access to any other books or literature we would all be thankful. The main reason I wrote is if there is any way to let Fernando know how lucky he is to have found the Lord at 18 years old. I’m 50 years old and wasted my whole life not knowing Him. But am trying very hard now. To have found Christ at such a young age will have been the greatest achievement he had made in his whole life. But the good news is, more and more of us are. God bless!

Ted, CA

To Whom It May Concern:

I heard great things about the book, "Change Your Life Biblically". Please may I get a copy sent to me. Thank you.

Mark, UT

Dear Brother Ronald John,

My name is Jeffrey. I am writing back to you about your workbook, "Change Your Life Biblically". I would still like to receive the workbook and I want you to know I am totally indigent. I wish I could send the stamps, but can’t. I have been moved to another facility.

Jeffrey, TX

Dear Jesus Christ Prison Ministry,

I am tired of coming back to prison and I am ready to change my life for the better. Can you please send me your book, "Change Your Life Biblically"? Thank you and God bless you and your wonderful ministry,

Jesse, CA

Dear Sir,

I am writing to request a free workbook after reading one of the pamphlets you sent to one of my roommates. Please send me additional pamphlets that I may also share some with my fellow inmates and those who attend our chapel services and Bible studies along with me. There are quite a few in number, so please send as many pamphlets as possible and I will see that they are distributed to as many interested as is possible. I thank you for this opportunity to better get to know my Lord and Savior.

Sheila, CA

Dear Folks, A few months ago I received an email from a person from Ethiopia who wanted the book, "Change Your Life Biblically". (Don’t ask me how this person found out about the book or this ministry. I have no idea. Only God could have brought this person to us.) I sent a case of books. Then one day I received this email from this person.

"Dear Ron,

I have got the large packet full of books you have sent two days ago. I am stunned. Thank you very much. I have begun to read one of the books. The messages are easy to understand. A whole new truth has been opened up before my eyes. If you give permission I want to translate it to my native language-Amharic. There are many prisoners here who don’t know Jesus Christ and the salvation He offers to those who accept Him. I will begin distributing the books to those who can understand English. May God repay you in folds of hundreds. Take care and bless you.

Sincerely in Christ

Kassahun

Ethiopia, Africa"

Thank you folks for your continued support so we can send these books around the world. When this Gospel is taught around the world, then Jesus will come.

Dear Brother John,

Sorry I did not write back in time. Some times time be flying too fast for me. I get so caught up and high on the Word of God I don’t know anything else that goes on around me. The other Sabbath night I stayed up til 2 a.m. mid-night and didn’t even know it was that late. I was having so much fun with God I lost track of time. Anyways, I want to thank you for sending my brother your book. He told me personally how much he enjoys it. I’ll probably end up discussing a whole lot with him. My prayers is that the Holy Spirit will guide him to understand all things. Sorry I couldn’t send you any stamps this time. I’ll try to send double next time I write. Well, thank you again for everything and hope to hear from you soon.

Timmy, CA

Dear JCPM,

I would like to do your Bible study and receive the study book to learn all knowledge I can about God’s Word. Please send "Change Your Life Biblically" to me.

Michael, TX

Dear Director Ron,

I received your letter about seven months ago and forgot all about you until recently. I would really like to get involved with your program but to be totally truthful I am as broke as they get. I have people in here that take care of me when I need something, but to have cash on my books is unheard of.

Curtis, WA

Dear Sir,

I am writing concerning your 490 page workbook that I requested a while back. I knew I was being transferred soon, so I waited ‘til now. I am still very interested in your workbook - Please! I am looking for the answers to life myself. I want to change just as you did! I want the truth and truth only, based on truth and truth alone. I want and accept the challenge. I am honest, open-minded and willing to take a look at myself.

Brett, TX

Jesus Christ Prison Ministry,

I would very much like to receive the workbook you offer. I’ve been locked up for 18 straight years and have no money to send you for a workbook. Before my mom passed away I was getting money, but since then, I don’t receive any money. Can you please send me the workbook? I’d appreciate it very much. I still have two years before I am eligible for parole and it doesn’t mean I’ll get it. Please send me a workbook.

Stephen, TX

Dear Sirs:

I was given your address to write to for help in knowing Jesus. I am in prison and I have no family on the outside or on the inside. And I have no financial help of any kind. I would like to get your Bible study book.

Albert, TX

Hello JCPM,

I am reading your book, "Change Your Life Biblically" and it is a wonderful book. I am halfway through it. Unfortunately the book doesn’t belong to me and I have to soon return the book to its owner. I was wondering if you can send me the book. Everything I have read in your marvelous book up to this time is to my understanding unadulterated truth. If I had a book of my own I can take my time to read it over and over while studying to memorize it. I ceased going to protestant Bible study and services because they refuse to teach the truth. So a lot of other Bible literature would be very helpful in occupying that time I now have.

Duane, NY

Dear Ronald John,

Thank you for your response to my letter requesting the workbook, "Change Your Life Biblically". Unfortunately I am indeed totally indigent at this time as in Texas we do not earn any wages for our labor and we are completely dependant on donations from friends or family. I would really like to receive the workbook and lessons if possible and humbly request that you allow me to re-pay the 10 stamps at a future time.

David, TX

Dear Ronald,

I received your letter and I will be glad to participate in your Bible study program. Enclosed are three stamps for the time being. The other seven will follow as soon as possible. I am not indigent although at the moment these were the only stamps I had available. I would like to thank you for this opportunity and I am sure looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Rudy, CA

Dear Ron,

I recently received your book as well as a newsletter. So far I have read over half of the book and am progressing quickly. I have to admit that this course is by far the best I’ve ever been involved in. Your book is so easy to understand and I love the way you use historical facts to back up your writings. My eyes have truly been opened to a whole new light. I plan to re-read this book several times. I just want you to know that it is highly appreciated. I would also like to inform you that I am unable to send any money at this time. I myself am currently in a financial jam. However, I strongly believe that the Lord will not allow us to suffer or do without any longer than needed. Once my wife is released I will encourage her to help out with money. I’ve passed out several vouchers and have encouraged others to help out. I’d hate to see a wonderful prison ministry or any ministry fall into debt to a point where they can no longer carry out God’s work. I will keep you and all the other brothers and sisters in my prayers.

Douglas, TX

These next two letters come from donors who love this ministry.  Praise the Lord for His donors.

"Hi,

I hope your ministry is going well. I have you in my prayers and the Bible study books are being used in Bible study groups. I’m about to start one with them soon. I’ve been having some health problems which I need prayer for so that I’ll be able to start it. I haven’t received the list of prisoners names that need someone to write to them. I know there must be a lot that are troubled by their circumstances and I hope I can encourage them from what I’ve faced and still do. I know God has a special work for me and is allowing them as a training for it. I’m trying to find out what that is. I’m sure it’s something to do with helping other people: which I love to do."

Teryl, ID

"Dear Ron,

I just now read your newsletter you sent me some time ago. I get so many gimmes, I throw most away but put a few aside to read later when I have ‘caught up’ on my correspondence. I have a lot of pen-pals. I have no car. I live in the mountains. I am nearly 95 and live alone. I depend on others to get to town once in awhile to shop, so I do a lot of my shopping by mail. I buy wood to burn from local people and have spring water. Now I am sending an offering to help print and send out your material to the prisoners. Surely that is a good mission project. Thank you for listening. Let us keep our eyes on Jesus. We’ll soon all meet at His feet. May God bless you."

Madonna, OR

Dear Brother Ronald,

I would like to thank you for taking time to send me the info as to getting started on my workbook, "Change Your Life Biblically". I can hardly wait. The sad thing is though, I can only send six stamps. Please accept these. I would send more but I’m limited on stamps.

Timmy, FL

Hello Brother Ron,

Thank you so much for the "Change Your Life Biblically" I got from you. I’ve read it a couple times already and working on the answer sheets.

Dennis, ND

Dear Brother Ron,

I received your book, "Change Your Life Biblically" and the booklet. The first book, "Change Your Life Biblically" that I received from you back on 5-02 I just gave to a friend of mine. He’s really getting into it right now. As for me, I’ve started in reading this new one as well. The last one was getting pretty worn out. I’ve read and re-read it quite a few times over the past few years. This new one should last me for a few more years now. I also see that you’ve upgraded the book binding on these new books. You’ve done a great job. They look real good. I’m glad that the attorney took our case on these people not letting us receive any kind of religious materials from you or any outside religious organization for that matter, and finally got everything all straightened out for us. I did a lot of praying over this issue and I knew in my heart that the Lord wasn’t going to let this issue stand. I really enjoy reading your newsletters and hearing about how much your ministry is helping all of us in prison. I get choked up reading some of the letters from other inmates that you print.

Marvin, CA

JCPM,

Hello. In our chapel our pastor posted a poster with your name and address on it asking people to write to you if we wanted a new way of life. Well, I must say this last 22 years of my life I’ve spent trying to stay "numb" to the pain of losing each one of my children by using pot and cocaine and due to my drug addictions. It has led me to a very extensive criminal record. I must say, I’m very tired of wasting my life behind bars and not with my children. So I would like any type of help you could offer me. I am willing to put forth all the effort and work into making a new path for me to go once I get out.

Carrie, OR

Dear Sir,

I write to you as an inmate. I am asking for your help on my journey to understand the Word of the Lord better. I would like to be enrolled into your Bible study course. I very much prefer keeping my mind in God’s Word than reading the general trash that is available here at the jail.

John, FL

Dear Jesus Christ Ministry,

I’m writing ‘cause I could use someone to write to and share Bible verses. I’m a first time believer and am new to this. So I need a friend to share the word with. My name is Jose. I’m from Tijuana. I grew up poor and been struggling ever since.

Jose, CA

Ronald John,

I recently received your letter regarding the free Bible to Inmate Program. I would respectfully let you know that I am totally indigent. I would be grateful if you can send me all the workbooks so I may receive my certificate and get my Bible. I am really trying to learn and absorb the Word so this would greatly further my knowledge and understanding. It will make my faith that much stronger.

Jesus, TX

Many of you read where Juan has joined this ministry to translate our material into Spanish. (please go to: www.jcpm.com to see the Spanish work he is doing.) But now the Lord has sent my "son" to come and help in the media department. We are in need of a home where we can live. All three of us, plus all the equipment in one 10x50 trailer is very challenging.

A one time gift of $10,000 would help us expand our work and living area. Thank you.

God bless all of you from all of us at JCPM

The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace. Numbers 6:24-26
