Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, A new year! What a wonderful opportunity to begin "new" in our living for Jesus. What commitments are you making for Jesus for this new year? One, we here at JCPM need to print another edition of the book, "Change Your Life Biblically". We are running out of our last edition. However, to print the next edition we need about $50,000. We feel blessed if we receive $3,000 a month in donations. With that in mind, you can see how far off $50,000 seems. But I know that hearts out there will be touched. People will look at their financial situation and begin to think what more can be done in supporting this, God’s little ministry. Over the past 10 years of this ministry I have seen awesome miracles take place in the lives of those who have been faithful in the giving of all their tithes and offerings and support to this little ministry. It has been a truly inspiring experience. I have seen lives healed physically, mentally, socially and economically. May all of you experience that divine touch as so many are experiencing it through this ministry. Please sit back now and enjoy the letters of hearts that are in the process of being changed into the Divine Nature. Using the 8 steps to Christian perfection that are outlined in the Bible, lives are truly being changed.
Dear Ronald John, I would like to thank you for giving me this opportunity to change my life. My name is Jonathan and I have been imprisoned for approximately 17 months. My charge was for money laundering and fraud. I know that what I have done in the past was wrong and I have continued to ask for forgiveness. It has been a long and painful road. The first eight and a half months of my incarceration were spent in Hong Kong prison. The conditions there were deplorable to say the least. God brought me through this and I thank Him for all blessings. Thank you again for the books and any learning material you can enclose. John, CA
Dear Brother Ronald John, I am happy to inform you I just received your wonderful workbook, "Change Your Life Biblically", including the other two books. I browsed through "Change Your Life Biblically" of course I only received it yesterday. But I will tell you this much, it has grasped my attention. I will start my Bible study and see where Jesus leads me. I am like a new born baby when it comes to Jesus. Pray for me God will open up my heart and mind with understanding and that He will give me guidance as I now start my journey in Christ. Thank you so much for your support. I already have been inviting other inmates to request their own workbook from your ministry. I have been giving away your request pamphlets. Anthony, CA
Dear Brother Ronald, I’m writing to let you know I have received the set of books you sent me. I appreciate it. Thank you. The old cellie I had is no longer under my influence. He and another inmate switches cells and the cellie he has now is a gang banger. The books you sent him he wound up giving to me and I gave them to the cellie I now have. So not to worry, they are being put to good use. Again, your work is much appreciated. Not to be or seem greedy, but do you have other books? Sean, CA
Ron, God bless you my brother in Christ. I am once again coming to you with a book of stamps to help you out in anyway and to do my part to impart Jesus’ truths to others in prisons and facilities everywhere. I will enclose more as I’m able to, OK? Diana, CA
Brother Ron, Well my friend, it’s that time for me to say that this will be my last letter to you from prison. I am so grateful that I have had you in my life to guide me and give me understanding with the Bible. Jesus truly answers prayers and knows what we need before we ask. Jesus has showed me HE will provide and bless me with what I need for His purpose. It won’t be easy but I will live one day at a time serving Him. I am hoping that we will be able to speak at length one day at the ministry. I truly need to speak about a lot that is built up inside. My heart is with the works of your efforts through the ministry of Jesus Christ. I will continue to help others by showing them the truth of the gospel as you have showed so many. Ron, I want to thank you so much for your help and love these past 5 years. You are a true inspiration for me and my family. They speak well of you and for your help. Praise our Lord Jesus for allowing you to write the study book that has helped so many to understand the real truth of the gospel. Many speak Jesus from the lips but few speak from their hearts. Brother Ron, continue to do your service to Jesus. Don’t ever give up regardless of how you may feel. Don’t send me any newsletters until I have a new address. I truly look forward to seeing you out there. May we continue our friendship on the other side of these walls. Ennio, CA
To Whom it does Concern, I’ve been involved in a Bible study. A brother had picked out of the garbage can what I believe to be volume I of "Change Your Life Biblically". I reviewed this book and I am very interested in having, if possible, all three volumes. Vincent, FL
Dear Jesus Christ Prison Ministry, I am a 22 year old Mexican: a father of three kids and I am a new fellow Christian. I just came across this piece of paper named, "Change Your Life Biblically". Your address on the back and some words saying for your free book, please send this in. I was wondering if someone could please send me a book and any other helpful stuff that you would be willing to help me with so that I could stay tuned to our Father’s Word. Edgar, CA
Dear Sirs, I am writing to request a copy of the book, "Change Your Life Biblically". I have just recently given my life over to God and am trying to learn as much about the Word of God as I can so that I can continue to grow in Christ. Craig, TX
Dear Brother Ron, I hope that the Lord has been providing you with some financial help to support your ministry. As soon as I can, I will send some money for your ministry. It has been a great blessing to me and a lot of other people as I can see in their testimonies. The moment I decided to follow the Lord was in county jail. Someone had a New Testament in the form of a book and for some reason I asked the person if I could check it out when he left. I had never read any scriptures. When I finally got my hands on the New Testament I read it and reread it a few times. I never knew what the Lord God had done for mankind. What He suffered in human form to provide redemption and power to live holy lives. As I read the scriptures they spoke to me, to my heart. Like it knew me. I could see why it said that the Word is alive and is a discerner of thoughts and intents of the heart. I was scared because I knew this life required a major change in the way I was living and didn’t know if I wanted to stop some of the things I did. But I decided I was messed up and I needed help and I got on my knees and confessed all my sins and asked Jesus to forgive me and to be a part of my life. I asked the Lord to be a part of my life. For the first time in my life I felt free. I had never before been incarcerated. Now that I was, I actually felt free. All that sin I had been carrying was a big burden and I didn’t realize it until it was lifted. One thing I always realized from the Word was that the Lord required full obedience, not to live in sin any longer. He told people to repent and would tell people to go and sin no more. Why would He ask you to do something you couldn’t do? If He was asking, wouldn’t there be a way to fulfill His command? So I kept His commands and if I sinned I would confess and keep being obedient. I stayed away from people and things that I knew would cause me to be tempted to sin. A pastor who would go to the jail would tell me we couldn’t help from sinning. We would always sin until Jesus came back. He told me "you are going to sin when you go back to your cell". I knew there was something wrong with his thinking. The Bible taught different. I never walked up to the front pew at a church or chapel and accepted the Lord into my heart as they say. I would hear people in magazines and on the TV say, "Just say the sinner’s prayer and you will be saved." "Forgive my sins. I accept You into my heart. I make You my Lord and Saviour." I could see this did not sound right. It was just reciting something without true repentance. I remember the Lord say, "My sheep hear My voice and recognize it and follow Him and a stranger they will not follow." When I got my hands on a Bible with the Old and New Testament, I started reading a lot about the Sabbath that the New Testament didn’t have. And I wondered if it was meant for us today too or just the Israelites. I prayed and prayed about it for the Lord to help me with this question. And He did answer me, but I did not realize it fully at first. Because someone gave me a pamphlet of your ministry, but I didn’t know what it was about. One of my main reasons I first sent it out was for the web site. But when I received the book and read it and looked up the Bible verses, I came to see what you were saying. What God was saying about His Holy Day. People have always wanted to do what "they" think is right since the garden of Eden. And have a tendency to rebel against God. I could finally see when people started to change the day of worship of the Holy God to accommodate the people. And the Scripture "you too easily change the commandment of God to keep your traditions" came to mind. It was the pagan's tradition to worship the sun on Sunday and the religious leaders of the time just accommodated them instead of doing what God commanded. I thank the Lord God Almighty for your ministry and the calling He gave to you. I know keep the Lord’s day and all the other commandments. Not just the nine but also His Holy Sabbath. I also wanted to let you know that the Sunday rest is starting to be enforced in France now. In May, French courts ruled that the Louis Vuitton flagship store must remain closed on Sundays in accordance with law. The law suit was brought against the famous Paris Fashion house by the French Confederation of Christian Workers. There were three very revealing facts: 1 - the union that sued has no employees at the store. 2 - All 300 of employees of the store voted in favor of opening on Sundays. 3 - An Ipsos telephone survey in April showed that 75% of people, the French citizens, pooled approved of stores opening Sunday. It seems surreal that I am able to understand these things now and know what they mean. God bless you, Joe, CA
To Whom it may Concern, Well, I just got "Change Your Life Biblically" a week ago and started to study. I thank you. I am just writing to send you the 10 stamps I said I would send for the book. Thanks. See, my word is good even if I am in prison. Carl, CA
Dear Brother Ron, I met your son, J.T. He was telling me about this book. In your book you contain the same message I myself wanted to write in a book with the exceptions of a few things. You also taught me a few things I didn’t know. Now I felt moved by God to write my book. But for what reason, you have covered everything I myself was going to write about. Like the Papacy, Sabbath, Follow Jesus by keeping 10 commandments. So I wish there was a way for me to help the ministry problem with debt. I will tithe my stamps to you. I want you to know the Father will make away. It is His will that the absolute truth be told and to wake people up so they may come out of Babylon the great. (False religion system.) I feel sorry for them, but they do not listen. Alan, MO
Dear Ronald John, I am a seventy-six year old first offender and have been here almost five and one half years. Your book "Change Your Life Biblically" really changed my life and put me on the right track. Thank you. Joseph, TX
JCPM, I have no money to send stamps as a donation. I traded my breakfast tray for this stamped envelope. Please send me this book. Thanks. Wayne, GA
Dear Brother, Please send me the workbook, "Change Your Life Biblically". I have been fortunate enough to have gotten the chance to look over the book which another prisoner has and I’m so impressed with the content and way in which you present the material that I want to have my own course of study. From what I was able to read I found it refreshing and quite frankly, exciting. I look forward to receiving the book and most importantly, "Changing" my life. Rick, AZ
To Whom it may Concern, A friend of mine let me read a book of you all called, "Change Your Life Biblically". It also said that I could write and you all would send me a free copy of it. If it is not too much to ask it gives me great pleasure to tell you what joy and knowledge spiritually up lifting it gave me to really understand the Bible better with the little that I read in volume I. So please send me all. I thank God for inspiring you to send them to inmates like myself. Jerry, FL
Dear Ron, I finally finished volume 1. I’ve gone through and looked up almost all the verses you quoted and taken my time to get the most I could out of it. I also passed the address on to several others. I agree about the doctrine issue. Jesus is easy to follow. It’s religion that’s hard to follow. I started praying about it a lot and through my Bible studies that I’m already doing, I’ve been really confused because they’re contradicting each other. But at last I’ve picked out a couple that hold to worshiping on Saturday Sabbath, because they refer you to the Bible to find the answers, not just give you man’s view. One I thought was the best took a turn and out of the blue said, "Follow 9 out of the 10 commandments." It said, "No where in the New Testament did Jesus say to keep the Sabbath." That it was just a ceremony that was ended when God gave His New Covenant. Well, I’ve been digging through the Old Testament and everywhere I’ve found that it talks about the Sabbath or the Ten Commandments. It said follow all of them to the end of the ages or through all your generations. Anyway, I’m really disappointed in all of them because in several places in the New Testament Jesus said to keep the Commandments, not just 9 of them. So I’ve had my eyes opened and decided to drop them from my studies. I want to thank you for your part in opening my eyes through the Scriptures. I want to thank you for your monthly newsletter and my book, "Change Your Life Biblically". Joseph, OR
Dear JCPM, Thank you for opening my eyes by reading this book. I had learned a lot about the Bible and what Jesus Christ had did for all of our sin. Now I must study more and accept His promises. Thank you for the help to understand the Bible better. Did you put that book together? It said a whole lot. Plus how it is written it is easy to understand. Once again I like to say thank you for everything yawl doing for us in prison because people like me don’t have no one looking out for them. William, CA
Dear Ron, Thank you for the response to my letter and my question. I wrote you about how moved I am to help the ministry every time I read your newsletter. And that I was not in a place that made it easy to do so. You wrote me back thanking me for my thoughts and told me that God would provide a way. Well, that’s what He did. Now I am able to send stamps to donate to the brothers who cannot provide the means for themselves. I do pray that this will help the ministry some how. Kevin, CA (He sent 40 stamps. Wow, That is a lot for an inmate)
To JCPM, I received your letter. I am looking forward to starting the workbook. A brother in Christ here gave me your address before he moved. I am indigent. My family has not wrote me in years. I have no funds. I would love to get the workbook and learn more about our Lord. Terry, FL
Salutations Mr. John, Today I received my Bible. Thank you. I surly appreciate it very much. I also received your missive notifying me that my pen-pal web page is up and running. This is a blessing and I am truly happy to hear this because I would love the opportunity to communicate with people who are not confined in prison. I don’t really have "blood" family. So my family is the Christian family which I have found to be quite enough. God surely takes care of his missionaries. Mr. John, I am enclosing a picture of myself that I would like to put on my web page with all my other information. May God bless you and your family. Paul, CA
To Whom it may Concern, I’m a 29 year old Christian looking to get to know our Lord and Savior on a more personal level. A fellow Christian has a book from your ministry titled, "Change Your Life Biblically". He strongly suggest I read. If it’s God’s will, may I please get a copy sent to me? Shawn, CA
Dear JCPM, I had contacted you a while back about taking your Bible study course. I have chosen to pay the $5. My brother has enclosed a $5 money order so that I may receive my study book/material I need to begin my studying in the Word of God. Thank you, Robert, CA
Dear Brother Ron, I want to just say I loved, I mean, I really did enjoy doing this workbook. It honestly is a true gem, a shining diamond in a dark cold mine. Vernon, CA
Dear Brother Ron, You are a very insightful and enlightening brother in Christ. I was overwhelmed when I received your book, "Change Your Life Biblically". I cannot express the supreme joy that Jesus Christ Prison Ministry has brought into my life. I have been making personal flyers with your address after I ran out of the ones "U" have sent me. God is good. When I get some money, I don’t know when, but I would be privileged to donate some to your cause (God’s cause). Your book was extremely easy to understand. Now I truly do look forward to reading the Bible. You simplified what seemed like a foreign language to me. Thank "U" so much from the bottom of my heart for the joy that "U" have brought into my life during my time of need and suffering. Let’s keep the 7th day Sabbath holy and obey God’s 10 commandments with the utmost respect and love. Keith, CA
Dear Ron, I was Jeffery’s cellmate. He allowed me to read his "Change Your Life Biblically" book. I am very interested in owning a copy of this book. I just got out of prison and am currently in a rehab program trying to change my life. Jeffery has got me interested in learning the truth. Please let me know what I need to do to get a book. Thank you very much. Damon, MO
Hello Brother Ronald, I would like to thank you for all of your encouragement. Although I desire to have freedom from prison, I truly seek to understand the teachings and purpose the Lord has for me. You know Ronald, sometimes when I look at these guys, I see and feel their despair and how they long to stand on their own instead of in the shadow of their peers. I believe a lot of their insecurity comes from taking short cuts in life. Every decade since 1959 I’ve been in someone’s jail or prison. And believe when I say that I’m not proud of my history. Thanks for taking the time to put together a fantastic book. I’ll sure keep in touch. George, CA
Dear Ronald, As you can see from my stationary and my postage I am indigent. But I do want to receive the Bible studies you’ve described. You caught my attention the way you described it. It’s been hard for me to really get involved because it seems that churches are like gangs. "On us to go to such and such church!" It’s like they are a set trip. So I wouldn’t go no more. I am a gang drop out and a believer in Christ. The Bible says I just gotta believe. If you send me the books and studies, I’ll show them to people and have them send stamps to order theirs. Joe, CA
Dear Pastor Ronald, I would very, very much like to do your Bible study course as I have heard from other inmates here how good it is. I also have a good bit of time to do and I badly need a good study as I read and study the "Word" each and every single day. The only problem is that I cannot afford to send you any stamps. I have no one at all in the entire world who will send me any stamps or money. I’m sorry. Could you please find it in your heart to let me participate even though I don’t have money? Todd, CA
JCPM, I received a "Change Your Life Biblically" pamphlet. I’m currently indigent and without funds. But I have a few stamps here that I can contribute for a donation. Can you please bless me with the "Change Your Life Biblically" workbook? Mac, CA
Dear Sir, I am a recovering drug addict. I recently came across a flyer from your ministry here in the building. I wrote to inquire about the workbook that you offer. Thank you for sending me the additional info on it and your ministry as well. Sadly, I am one of those indigent inmates that your letter speaks of. I am strictly "state raised" as they say. You see, I’m not even from California but managed to get myself in trouble out here while visiting from North Carolina. So as you see I’m all alone out here with no family or resources. What I do have is a burning desire to grow closer to the Lord through His Word. I don’t have any stamps or money. Please bless me with whatever your ministry can. William, CA
Dear Prison Ministry, I’m writing to you because someone in jail told me about you. They told me about your ministry and showed me some of the books you sent them. I would like to have a copy too. Thank you very much. Voycette, OR
Dear Brother Ronald John, I recently completed "Change Your Life Biblically". I filled out the web page. I already received a pen-pal. God works fast. Enclosed in this letter will be 8, $1 stamps. It’s a donation of appreciation. Thank you very much for everything. Robert, CA
Dear Brother in Christ, Thank you for writing me and taking the time to get back to me. I thank God for this support in your ministry in helping me find Jesus. So far in the "Change Your Life Biblically" workbook, I’m only on page 11, "Faith". I love the experience I’m having for I know now that Jesus loves me and God has a plan for me when I get out of prison. I have been in Federal prison for 12 1/2 years now. I will write you again as soon as I do more of the workbook so I can tell you what I learned and how far I got and how much the Lord has taught me. Paul, NC
Dear Minister in Christ, I am a boy of seventeen years and a student in one of the secondary schools in Ghana. I resorted to obeying all of God’s commandments. I have began keeping the Saturday Sabbath. I came by your book, "Change Your Life Biblically" and read with eager interest as long as it was with me. God bless you abundantly for the light you are giving to the world. Please, I would like to have a copy of my own to enable me to understand certain aspects an also be able to teach others about the truth as taught by Jesus Christ. I am trying my best to teach my colleagues about the Bible Saturday Sabbath and truth. But these people need to know and understand certain Bible prophecies very well. Therefore, I would be very glad if you would help me to teach them. I hope to hear from you soon. May God help to reach every soul with this wonderful book, "Change Your Life Biblically". Eshun, Ghana, West Africa Thanks folks for helping me help Eshun and thousands like him through this ministry. Ron The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace. Numbers 6:24-26 |
