Prison Mission Report!

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ:

"Those who are suffering for Christ's sake, who will not yield the truth for error, who, perhaps, are incarcerated within prison walls,--these need comfort and encouragement. This is the kind of work that is deciding our destiny. There is a precious reward awaiting those who are faithful in their ministry. They will have a home in the mansions that Christ has gone to prepare for them that love him and wait for his appearing." EGW:Youth’s Instructor

Dear Brother Ron,

I received your letter yesterday and I would like to thank you for your quick response to my letter. It was really nice to get a "personal" response to my letter instead of a "generic" letter that most ministries seem to respond to everything with. Thank you for your words of encouragement. They were heart felt and sounded sincere. You are absolutely right about losing those who you love while being in prison. I felt and feel so helpless in here. I miss my mom so much, it hurts. We were extremely close. I wanted so much to see her again before she left to be with Jesus. Anyway, I will do exactly what you recommended. I am going to lean on the Lord and follow His lead as to what He wants me to do according to His will. I will pray and ask for His guidance and I truly hope it is His will for me to be a help to you and your ministry in some way. I would love to build a home for you and be a part of the awesome ministry that the good Lord has set up through you and your family and friends. Actually it would be an "honor" to assist you. I know the Lord will make it happen if it truly is in His will. I did receive the book you sent to me last week right after I mailed my last letter to you. Thank you very much. I just started reading it and love it so far. Again thank you for the support and encouragement because to be honest, you are pretty much the only one who has given me any at all (and it was just in time).

Rick, CA

Dear Ronald,

I have seen your book that another inmate had and I’m very interested in going through your Bible study. I have no family or outside support and I only make about $8 a month to live on. I can’t come up with 10 stamps at once, but I can send you 5 now and I’ll send some more later.

Michael, CO

JCPM,

A pen-pal of mine from Maryland sent me this form and told me that she has your book and told me that it’s very good and that I should send for it.

Ray, UT

Dear Brother Ron,

It was good to hear from you again, like always. The wicked I can never seem to understand them. We have here in the chapel library tons of bad books, pamphlets, articles, magazines, but out of all those false teaching books they got rid of the few books that teach the truth. It boils my blood when I see things like that. Not too long ago I got to asking myself, "am I being productive for Jesus?" "Can people see Jesus in me?" I like to think I am, but what is my opinion compared to the way God sees me. So, I prayed about this matter and about 2-3 Sabbaths ago, a "Protestant" brother came to me and said that he’s been wanting to speak to me for awhile now and it’s because he doesn’t see many people like me living what they preach. It felt so good to know that people could see I was living for Christ. This brother and I talked for a few hours and I think we both were blessed by this experience. We decided to come together more often and study. I’m praying God will lead him into all truth.

Timmy, CA

Dear Ronald John, Director,

I am again writing to inform you of my indigence and that I will be in this facility for at least another 6 months. Would you be so kind as to send me your book, as I began reading my neighbor’s, but he has since gone home and taken the book with him.

Karl, NY

Ron,

My name is Kevin. I’m trying to walk with Christ on the inside and it’s truly tuff for me. A Christian brother gave me your address and told me to write and maybe you could send me some Christian literature. Thank you so much for your time.

Kevin, CA

Dear JCPM,

I do not have a formal application, however, I would like to receive your workbook and any information you could share. I heard about your ministry from a fellow inmate

Charles, AZ

This next letter is from a donor who writes:

To whom it may concern,

Please send me the book entitled, "Change Your Life Biblically". I have heard so much about it. I wish I could send more, I’m on a fixed income. Thank you,

Zelma, TX

Dear Ron,

Hello and God bless you. I am happy to be in contact with you again. I’ve been so out of the spirit this past 10 months. I’m very unhappy. I’m going through a divorce and really am unsure of my future as of right now. I wish I had some money to pay for your workbook. But I am totally broke right now. But if you can find it in your heart to bless me with a workbook, I will cherish it and study it diligently. I really need guidance right now. I parole in 3 1/2 months and I’m terrified that I won’t be able to withstand Satan and the cares of the world. Please pray for me. I need all the extra help I can get. Thank you for responding so quickly. I hope to receive a workbook soon.

Jerry, GA

Dear Brother Ron,

I am writing you to say that I received your letter and I am truly desiring to do your Bible study course. My difficulty is I don’t have the money to get the stamps. I am here on a three year term and we’re supposed to get five stamped envelopes per week. We are in a mental health building so we are locked down twenty-three hours a day. There is a guy in here who showed me your book. But he wouldn’t let me borrow it. I usually eat chow with him and he’s been telling me about Jesus. In fact, he is over forty and last Saturday he told me he got down on his knees and asked Jesus to come in his heart. I need your help. I know you are a small ministry. I saw a picture of your office in the front of your book.

Thomas, CA

Dear Brother in Christ,

I am writing you to request your workbook and to be enrolled in your study. I am indigent at the present time. Another brother in Christ turned me on to your ministry and I would really like to work your program. I pray that you will send me the workbook.

Walter, TX

Dear Brother Ronald,

Thank you so much for my "Change Your Life Biblically" book. Thus far it’s an awesome, well put directory in many choices of live’s paths. It really humbles me that I see the picture of the travel trailer in the very beginning of the book. I think it’s awesome. I have been going on and on about your books and studies. I have found six people whom are writing to you. This book, "Change Your Life Biblically" has already made a strong opinion in my thinking. Now I have a true guide to show me the true way through studies and I’d like to thank you.

Rick, CA

Dear JCPM,

I got your address from a neighbor. Hopefully you can help me. I’m currently in a lockdown 24 hours a day. However, I believe in the Lord and I’m going through a difficult time right now. I’m praying maybe you can help with some reading materials and literature.

Brian, CA

Sirs,

I am incarcerated in Tennessee. I had the opportunity from a fellow inmate to look at your publication of "Change Your Life Biblically". What I have read, it’s very good. It answered many questions. If possible, I would like a copy for myself.

Douglas, TN

Brother Ron,

I don’t want to take up too much of your time. I was given this form and am very grateful to the person that gave it to me. I would like to get your workbook, but I’m afraid I am indigent. I hope to still be able to get the workbook.

Lance, CA

Dear Brother Ron,

Thank you for the certificate and application for the web page and your kind words concerning my answers. Yes, I am continuing to read, "Change Your Life Biblically". I hope to learn all I can. I am in isolation so my "missionary work" is greatly limited. I will pass out these pamphlets for the workbook to as many as I can. I already have one guy who is sending one out today. He’s not a Christian, but I believe the workbook can start a change in his life.

Tracyee, CA

Dear Sirs,

I was given some of your literature from another inmate. I am asking you for a workbook as well as to be placed on your mailing list. At this time I am unable to send you stamps. I just got into the reception center and only have a few dollars to buy hygiene. I would be more than happy to send you that. It’s just that I have to get a job. If you would please take this under consideration I would be blessed.

Lee, CA

Dear Brother Ronald John,

I wrote you once before, and now I write you again. I want to find out where my life is going and what purpose my life has in this world. Why was I born? Why did I admit to the crime against me? How could God use the sinner I am? I have been "saved" so many times. But I’m mussing something in my life, and I don’t know what’s missing. Maybe your course can help me. I’m not content, not satisfied. I don’t feel linked to God. I do want to face the truth head on. I am willing to look at myself honestly. Enclosed are the 10 first class stamps so you can mail the books to me.

Troy, FL

To Jesus Christ Prison Ministry,

I had a look at your book and I like what I seen in it. I’m a growing Christian and I believe in Jesus Christ with all my heart. Your book helped me understand some of the things I did not know about. I wish that I could get a copy of your book called, "Change Your Life Biblically". I pray that you will send me also one of your Bible studies.

Micheal, TX

Dear Ronald John,

I just received your letter regarding my request of the workbook, "Change Your Life Biblically" and I am certainly interested through unfortunately I’m totally indigent. I would like to be a member of JCPM and any material that you can offer would be great.

Peter, CA

Dear Mr. John,

My name is Barry. I received your workbook several weeks ago and showed them to my neighbor. He is sincerely interested in your books but has no money or resources to order them. I would send you 10 stamps myself but I don’t have the means either. If there is anyway you can accommodate my friend, I would be grateful.

Barry, CA

Greetings,

I am a baby Christian only 7 months old. The Lord led someone to me who is currently involved in your book, "Change Your Life Biblically". I looked it over and I agree, it’s awesome. My prayer is that maybe you could send me such a book to study.

Steven, CA

Dear Brother Ronald,

Thank you for the workbook, "Change Your Life Biblically". It has reaffirmed things I have sensed since beginning my Christian walk. In the past I have studied many denominations searching for the true truth. But all that time the truth was right in front of me. In the scriptures. Then how is it I spent over thirty years so torn? Man’s ways became my ways and I never have known peace. Always believing that because I believed Christ died for my salvation: that the work was done. Now I understand I too must be willing to do my part. Not only refrain from old ways; do what is right, obey the Ten Commandments, love God, but also share with others the truth. I have found at least here this will be very difficult. People do not want to depart from the idea of by grace and grace alone we have our ticket to eternal life and anything else is not acceptable even to contemplate. And the 7th day Sabbath? Praise God for persecution. Thank God for the truth. I have also handed out the request forms to others. There are some here whom are interested in the truth. But the fear some carry to even look at something different is amazing.

Tim, CA

Dear Sir,

I am totally indigent and rely on the kindness of others for all my needs. A very humbling experience as I was a counselor with a very good income. The only thing I did not have was Jesus. Since being here I have begun reading the Bible and praying and then a friend gave me your application for a Bible study and I sent it. I have no money at all but if you can send me the book, if and when I ever get the stamps, I will send them to you.

Roger, CA

Dear JCPM,

I have been given your name and address as an organization that provides Bible studies to prisoners. I am presently incarcerated. I would appreciate any help you might be able to give me in this area. I am soon to have a hip replacement. I have much time, but no earnings.

Dorothy, TX

Dear Brother Ron,

Let me begin by saying thanks for all the wonderful work you are doing through the ministry. It is truly a blessing to see individuals reaching out to our prison system. I write this letter to apologize to the ministry. You see, several months ago I requested the book you put out and received it. Well, for about a month all went well and I enjoyed the book. Then one day I caught myself slipping into old habits again. Eventually I had completely lost sight of my journey in Christ and gave into all the evil temptations of this world. Believe me, getting back on track wasn’t easy. It is sad to see so many people openly and willingly giving into the false teachings of today Anyhow, I still have the book and read it daily. Thank you for everything and keep up the great work.

Douglas, TX

Dear Brother Ronald,

"Change Your Life Biblically" has been a God sent to me. The point of view is awesome as our God is awesome. I can say this in all earnest. I can see the Holy Spirit working within me. The light has begun to shine today. I understand better what it truly means to be a man walking with Christ. Knowing that deliverance is real and it too is a gift from God. But will have little or no influence on a life until the decision has been made that yes, I will follow in my Lord Saviours path. No longer claiming that by the blood of Christ am I saved. No by grace and only grace do we have salvation. Instead of wait for bondage to be broken for me, I now see it’s up to me to accept the freedom and walk accordingly. Thank you and praise God for more insight. I too am writing this letter to request workbooks for brothers here in my building. Their names, numbers and assigned housing are on the back of letter. These are ones who I gave the handouts to, but failed to tell they need to write a letter expressing their desires to get to know the truth. Please excuse me for not being more aware.

Timothy, CA

Dear Brothers and Sister,

I will get to the point, cause I realize you probably read hundreds of these. Bless you in Christ. I recently found out about a life changing book called, "Change Your Life Biblically". I would like to receive this. My friend says it’s a study to never forget. I leave in 10 months. My friend told me this book, if applied with scripture, will change my life biblically>

David, TX

Dear Christ Ministry,

I received your letter today and was so happy to hear from someone. I don’t get much mail. In fact, I’m surprised when they called my name for mail. Most of my family has died or moved out of state and I don’t have their address. They pretty much give up on me when I come to prison. The only person that I know loves me is Jesus. I’m sorry at this point in time. I don’t have the stamps to send you. Maybe I said to much or maybe not enough. I’m going to close here and can’t wait to hear from you again.

Wally, CA

Dear Brother in Christ,

After reading my book, "Change Your Life Biblically" the Holy Spirit has come upon me and filled me with tremendous blessings for the truth in which it holds on the Sabbath. And the many other issues in which the churches try to change. It has shown me how to love and pray. How to depend on God and not the materialistic things of this world. I send an offering. Not much, but I know that the little it is will help someone as it has myself. I thank you for the effort with an "A" for the sacrifices you have made to bring truth to the lives of others.

Javier, UT

Dear Brother Ronald,

I received your return letter a few weeks back, but I knew that I was going to be transferred soon, so I didn’t write back so I could get my mail sent straight to me. I am ready to start my studies and receive my workbook, "Change Your Life Biblically". I do not have any money or stamps. I hope it doesn’t mean I can’t receive the workbook. I do hope to hear from you soon.

Stephen, CA

To Ronald John,

I’m writing cause I had written to your ministry and you sent me a letter with info. I’m sorry to say that I have been in prison for a year and have until 2018. I don’t have any money coming in or anything. I am totally indigent. I’m asking to be able to receive your book and be placed on your mailing list.

Alcides, FL

Hi There,

I got my workbook, thanks a lot. I’ve started it and skimmed through it. I know that I’m going to enjoy it. I’ve also spoken with several people and I’ve given all the brochures away. I have a lot of people interested. Please send me some more brochures.

Rotisha, TX

Dear Brother Ron,

Well, I received the books you sent me along with "Change Your Life Biblically". I really do appreciate the books from the bottom of my heart and I will study them diligently. I will write you every month to let you know how the books have helped me and further let you know how I am doing.

David, CA

Brothers in Christ,

I had the chance to glance at your flier "Change Your Life Biblically". I really liked what I seen & I’m interested in participating in the study. The flier only offered one person to sigh up so I’m writing this letter with my information in hopes to be included.

Michael, CA

Dear Mr. Ronald John,

My name is Demetrius and I’m writing you this letter in concern of a Bible study course. A friend of mine is involved in your course and he let me look at his book. I’m a baby Christian and I’m in the process of wanting to learn more about our Lord. My friend advised me about the fee of entry before he gave me the application. My resources turned up negative and I was unable to borrow the appropriate amount. Therefore, I’m sending my form in as an indigent inmate. I pray that your organization could have favor on my petition to enter the study course. Thank you,

Demetrius, CA

Brother Juan (our translator and personal friend of this inmate),

Thank you once again for your response. Juan, my mother said to say "hello" and she hopes that you are doing fine. I got all of those order forms that you sent me and I put them in the church so that those who want the book can get it. Yes, of course, I still have the book. I have only answered half of the questions because I felt that some of my answers were rushed instead of taking my time. I stopped answering/reading the book because I felt kind of afraid that if I do finish the book and I do not obey, then I’ll really be in trouble. Just give me some more time and I’ll continue my studies.

Michael, CA

Dear Brother Ron,

Thanks for the certificate. Can you send a "CYLB" book to Daniel. I am sending some stamps. He is getting out in December and has no place to go so I mentioned your ministry. Don’t know if you could use the help or afford it, but I thought I’d run it by you. He’s 22 years old and eager to learn about Jesus. He’s read my book twice and working on answer sheets and now waiting for a book from you. Can you write him and let him know. Thank you and God bless you and the team.

Alfonso, CA

Folks, this would be a new experience for this ministry. Taking on Daniel would present some challenging situations. Just the matter of funding. We are in debt and praying that God will send the funds to get us out of debt. Any debt is too much for our little ministry.

If you would like to help us move in this direction, please let us know. We would like to get your input. Also, anyone out there who can encourage their church family, friends and family to be a funding sponsor of this ministry, please do.

We truly thank you for your love and support of this ministry. Little by little we are trying to move forward. It is only by your love and support that we are able to continue.

"The Saviour is still carrying forward the same work as when He proffered the water of life to the woman of Samaria. Those who call themselves His followers may despise and shun the outcast ones; but no circumstance of birth or nationality, no condition of life, can turn away His love from the children of men. To every soul, however sinful, Jesus says, If thou hadst asked of Me, I would have given thee living water. . .

"The gospel invitation is not to be narrowed down, and presented only to a select few, who, we suppose, will do us honor if they accept it. The message is to be given to all. Wherever hearts are open to receive the truth, Christ is ready to instruct them. He reveals to them the Father, and the worship acceptable to Him who reads the heart. For such He uses no parables. To them, as to the woman at the well, He says, ‘I that speak unto thee am He.’

"Let the repentance of the sinner be accepted by the church with grateful hearts. Let the repenting one be led out from the darkness of unbelief into the light of faith and righteousness. Let his trembling hand be placed in the loving hand of Jesus. Such a remission is ratified in heaven." EGW:DA

Thank you folks for helping us reach the "outcast ones". Again it is only through your personal, individual and continued monthly support that we are able to send these books to inmates. We are in a bit of a financial bind right now. Many donors were not able to give during the months of January through April. So we had to use our credit cards to keep the ministry running. With your help we will soon be out of debt and serving the Lord with greater capacity.

Love in Christ,

Ron

The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace. Numbers 6:24-26
