Prison Mission Report!

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ: To whom it may concern: I was informed by a friend that you guys there at Jesus Christ Prison Ministry offer courses that I could take while here in prison to help me with my walk in the righteous path. I would really appreciate it if you could send me the lessons that I know will truly help me with my everyday walk with the Lord. Thank you, Daniel, CA
Dear Brothers in Christ, I am looking forward to receiving your book and getting started on the Bible study course. A fellow inmate gave me the forms and told me I could also receive a Bible through your free Bible to inmate program. Thank you, Thomas, CA
Dear Jesus Christ Prison Ministry, I was given you address to write about receiving a copy of your book "Change You Life Biblically". Unfortunately I am indigent and unable to afford the ten stamps it cost to send it to me. I have to be a part of your program. Thank you, John, AR
Dear JCPM, My name is Richard, and I am currently incarcerated at West Valley Detention center in Rancho Cucamonga. I had the opportunity to read your book: "Change Your Life Biblically" for a few hours. The owner wouldn’t part with it. Of all the Christian books I’ve read yours is the only one that discusses the true Sabbath. I didn’t have the time to read the entire book that is the purpose of my letter. I would like to request a copy. Can I trouble you to send one also my future wife & encourager. We look out for each other and fellow inmates we can help along the way. I know your book will be a blessing to both of us. God bless, Richard CA
Dear Bother John, I am so glad to get your response to my request. However I am truly indigent and I am VERY interested in acquiring a copy of your book," Change Your Life Biblically". I have been told numerous times about how great your book is. I am "truly saved" and I wish to learn more about God’s plan and "how to change my life Biblically". However I have a few stamps that I’ve been given by other inmates. Please send me a book and your monthly newsletter. God has been blessing tremendously. I am spreading the Gospel to as many souls as I can. Thank you for your help, James, FL
Dear Ron, Thanks for sending me my work book. I promise I would send you the stamps and here they are. I’ve been telling people about your ministry. Thank you for the newsletters. A friend of mine asked me why I didn’t just say, "I was indigent"? I told him I’ve been lying all my life and it’s time for a change. So your book must be working; of course by the power of the Lord Jesus Christ. William, TX
Dear Brother in Christ, I’m writing to thank you for sending me "Change Your Life Biblically". Even though I was not able to pay your ministry the ten stamps, you still sent it to me. So I want to tell you how appreciative I am. I have written many letters requesting a free Bible since I’ve been in prison and have no money. You were the only one to write me back and send me the book of life! This has demonstrated to me that you are a person who is a true Christian because you genuinely care enough to help others, even when they cannot afford to pay you. I am very happy you were so helpful and reached out to me. This gives me faith to continue on my journey towards becoming a true Christian and to be the best person I can be. Since I have been alone in prison, I have not had any family and only one friend write me. The other organizations I wrote to would not even send me a pamphlet on God. Yet your ministry has given me this great book. I will never forget your ministry and help to me. Jean, NY
Dear Jesus Christ Prison Ministry, About 2 weeks ago I was in the chapel library and stumbled across a book published by you called, "Change Your Life Biblically". I have only one word for this book, "Wow"! This book is amazing. I do already believe in keeping the Ten Commandments and I believe only in the 7th day Sabbath. My concept of grace was eternal salvation, but now I see it is what has kept me alive so I could repent and come to a knowledge of the truth so I can obtain salvation eternally. I have to reread/restudy this book a couple of more times. But it is a book I will keep and share with others. Michael, CA
To: Jesus Christ Prison Ministry, My name is Vicki. I have been incarcerated 15 years. I found this pamphlet on a book shelf in the dayroom. I would like to order the workbook that you are offering. I am open and teachable everyday to the Bible and what it has in store for me. Vicki, GA
Dear Friends in Christ, I would like to take your Bible study. A friend of mine showed me a copy of your Bible study and I’m really interested in starting it. Michael, CO
Dear Christian, Would you please be so kind as to send me a free copy of "Change Your life Biblically". I have been borrowing my next door neighbor’s and am deep into it and would really appreciate a copy for my own personal use. Karl, NY
Dear Brother, I have purchased your Bible study years ago, but never did it. I did receive it but never did it. Well, it has been my loss. I could have been drawing closer to Christ. Sandra, OR
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, May God bless you in your ministry. You will reap the fruits of this in heaven. I thank the Lord about your ministry. When I have got your address from a Christian brother, I am very glad to write you. I am an evangelist in Ethiopia. Many men and women are coming in to the kingdom of God. But there is spiritual problems because of lack of knowledge. I humbly request you to send me your book, "Change Your Life Biblically" and other spiritual matter. I hope you will help me to grow in my ministry. One day we will have fellowship in Ethiopia. I am eagerly expecting your advice and your spiritual help. Yours in Christ Abebe, Ethiopia
Dear Jesus Christ Prison Ministry, Thank you very much for responding to my request for your free books. At this time I am without any type of outside support and I’m indigent. I would very much appreciate it if you could please send me the item and books that you provide. Peyton, TX
Dear Sir, Please send me a copy of "Change Your Life Biblically". I am very interested in learning all I can about the Bible and Jesus Christ. I have no money, but if I ever get any I will send you some as a donation. Eric, FL These next two letters are from Spanish speaking inmates. We have translated them for you. Please help us get the book printed in Spanish. Right now we are filling in with printing the book out in very little sections to send them. Very expensive this way. God bless you as you help us raise the $25,000 to have the books printed in Spanish. Jesus Christ Prison Ministry I greet you in then name of our Lord Jesus Christ hoping that you will always be filled abundantly with blessings. A friend of mine gave me your address to request from you, please, that you send me the first book of "Change Your Life Biblically", and if it is possible that you do me a favor to send me biblical studies to continue growing in love and knowledge of the word of God. My name is Lino. I am in the state prison of Avenal for 3 years until February of 2009. I have time to carefully study the Holy Scriptures of the Bible, the Word of the only living God that is the only one that gives true freedom physically and spiritually. Hoping to be blessed with this book and Biblical studies. I thank you all a lot for your attention to the present letter hoping that God always blesses all of you. Book number 1 Change Your Life Biblically please. Linen, CA
Dear JCPM, My Name is Emilio and I thank you for sending me these books. They’re so lovely that I am also very interested for the other book that I have sent off requesting for. And I thank you a lot for the books that you sent me. Thank you. Emilio, CA
Dear Ronald John, I received your letter and I just want you to know that I would love to have the books, "Change Your Life Biblically". But as far as funds are concern, I do not have anything. I have been down over 10 years now and a lot of things have changed, you know how that goes. So right now I am totally indigent without any help. But it would help if you could send me this book. I really need it. It would mean a lot to me. Anthony, FL
Dear Brother Ronald, Thank you so much for answering my request so fast. I think you are doing an awesome job providing studies for thousands of inmates around the country and world. You are truly blessed. Brother Ronald, I am totally indigent here and on the streets. Upon my last release I found myself homeless and I had no family to turn to. After all my years down in prison I lost all my old resources. It was raining. 34 degrees in the trailer I was staying in. I had no electricity, no water and no heat. It was a real small trailer. After 14 years I found I lost how to survive on the streets. My father died back before I got out and our plans were gone as well. He was going to help me get on my feet. I don’t know how to deal with death, even at 46 years of age. Rick, CA
Dear Brother Ron, I am sending this in for a fellow inmate who does not have the means to pay for the shipping and handling. I have included stamps which I believe should cover it. Please see to it if you can that he gets a copy of your study book. Kevin, CA
Greetings, I am writing to you in regards to the study guide and workbook "Change Your Life Biblically". I was looking through a friend of mine’s copy of this book and would like to receive one myself. John, CA
Jesus Christ Prison Ministry, I am writing because I am going to be paroling in a week and want to send you my new address. I will be going to a drug program for one year. I am going to a place called "I Am New Life’. It is an after care program and drug program. I have been studying your book and it is great. I am really enjoying it so you know. Thank you very much. Andre, CA
Dear JCPM, First, I would like to say that I love my new book very much. It has been very helpful and educational and I am only on page 150. However, I am concerned though about an issue. I have four friends in this drug program I am in. They filled out the application 1-2 months ago and have not received their book. I am thankfully have a mom that sent funds to you for the book. Unfortunately they have no money at this time they all said they would send money when they get some. I enjoy your book as well as the newsletters. Please send these brothers in Christ their workbook so they can start their fellowship with Jesus too. P.S. If you need money, please send them the books and me a letter. I’ll ask my mom to donate the money for the books. Scott, ID
Hello JCPM, My name is Diane. An inmate showed me your, "Change Your Life Biblically" book and I found it so amazing. I’m praying that you will be so kind to send me that wonderfully amazing book to me also. I will be released and I would love for you to send it to me ASAP so when I get out I can share it with my family and inform them as well. You just don’t know how educational it will be to my family. I will plan each day with them reading from your book so that I can teach them and show them, "Thus saith the Lord". I found the Sabbath so informative. So please, find it in your heart to send it to me. Diane, CA
Dear Brother Ron, God bless you, If you still remember, you used to send me letters while I was in Avenal. I paroled in March and I’m sad to say, I was back in May. It has been 10 months since I could bring myself to pick up a Bible. I feel so disgusted with myself. I fell flat on my face. I guess pride got the better of me. I was taught a valuable lesson. I tried to gain control with out the help of God. The cares of the world choked me. And I failed. Satan has been plying me with guilt so bad I reverted too my old ways. I hate the way I feel these days. But today is the day for salvation. So I shall try again. I’m done with feeling pity. I’m going to take it to Jesus. I’m down to my last four months and I need to be in the Spirit. Could you please bless me with another workbook. I really need one. Jerry, CA
Dear Ronald John, I received your letter today. Yes, I am indigent but I do have a few stamps I can send you. I am really wanting to receive your book. I heard great things about it from others. Please send it to me. Jasper, CA
Dear Brother, I am totally indigent and I can’t afford to send the 10 stamps for the workbook. Please know that I’m interested in this book. I’ve been doing time for almost 22 years and this is the first time I got into this with the Word. I do feel awkward cause I’ve always been in the game and playing it hard with the homies. But lately or should I say, this time around I have been craving for knowledge about God. I just started reading the Bible too, and even though I do feel awkward, I must admit that I do enjoy it. Anyway, if you could help me with this workbook, I will truly appreciate it. This is the best way I can come at you for now. Miguel, WA
Dear Ronald John, I received your welcome letter today. Your program/book sounds great. I am a new Christian. Actually, a baby. I’ve just recently excepted Christ into my life. I’m 29 years old and I’m sick of this life style. Prison isn’t for me. There has to be a better way of life. I had four years out and I had a great life. But I had a void and something was missing. I know now what it was and it was Christ. I cried the night when I asked Christ into my life. I’m truly wanting Jesus Christ to help me through the rest of my life. Now I want to learn as much as I can about Him and living for Him. Your book sounds great. I have passed out your applications to other inmates as well. John, PA
Dear Brother Ron, Praise and glory be unto God. I really did enjoy this book and Bible study. Unlike other studies I am doing, it was challenging and grabbed a hold of my interest and I just could not put it down. I do Bible studies daily. I am in a SHU environment and cannot have a celly. I used to be a gang member. I thought I knew a lot about God, but found out through your workbook that I know very little. And some of what I believed was false and the teachings of mankind. I still struggle each day. I’ve lost contact with my family and the few friends I thought I had. I need as much help as I can get studying God’s Word. I can usually read what the Word says and understand it. But after doing your workbook I realize that I don’t understand it as much as I thought. I have spent over 21 years of my 34 in some form of jail or lock up or home. Not many have shown me love. Very few have even wanted to. The love and compassion you have given to me through your workbook means more than I can express. I will pass it on to others. Tracyee, CA
Dear Brother Ron, Enclosed is 25 stamps. I’ll send more as usual when I can. One guys that got packed up was apparently involved with the ministry in some way. As he was getting his stuff ready he was about to throw out your book. I asked him what does he think he is doing? He said that he’s going to throw "this garbage" out. I told him that those books are not garbage but truth. He said he didn’t care and then proceeded to toss them into the garbage can. Well, I don’t think I’ve ever moved as fast as I did when I dove for the books to try and catch them before they went into the garbage can. A lot of people blow their nose and spit in it and I didn’t want the books getting messed up. I rescued the books but ended up with a good size knot on my head when it slammed against the wall. So now I have an extra set of books for someone who is interested in the truth. It’s a lot quieter in the dorm since all these guys left. But the good part is that supposedly we are to get like another 20 guys coming in within the next 2 weeks to a month. Out with the old, in with the new, and more opportunities to spread the Word. Joshua, NY
Brother Ron, I thank you and the Lord for the books that you sent me. My eyes have been opened. I went to a United Pentecostal church and thought that the Pentecostals were right on. But still I felt that there was something missing. Eventually I fell by the way side or backslid. I went back to drugs, partying got married and ended in prison for six years. This is my first time in prison. My cellie had your book, "Change Your Life Biblically", so I read it. For a while I felt the Lord was knocking on my door doing things to get my attention. But I was hardheaded. Now in prison there is your book. I probably would have never have found it if I didn’t come to prison. Thank the Lord for your dedication to the prison ministry. The Lord works in mysterious ways. Enclosed are some stamps I am donating and when I figure out how to send $$ I will. Mike, CA
Dear Sir, I was enrolled in your Bible study while I was in the county jail. When they moved me they wouldn’t let me take anything. I lost your Bible study and I was wondering if you could send me another one. I had read the book a little more than two times and was answering the questions when they moved me. Millard, TN
Dear Brother Ron, I send my utmost love and respect to you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Well, I use to correspond with you and receive your newsletter. But its been a while. This prison I am in was not allowing certain spiritual books or Bible studies. However, now we are allowed books from any ministry. Ron, honestly, over the past year I have been struggling to stay faithful to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am very ashamed of myself because I became preoccupied with negative activities going on in this prison. Now, for the past month, I have rededicated my life to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and I refuse to succumb to the negativity around me. I would truly appreciate it if you would send me "Change Your Life Biblically" so I can really stay focused and on the right path. I have no money or stamps at this time so please help a brother out. David, CA
JCPM, Hi. I wrote you requesting your book on Jesus. The guy who did 7 years, another inmate, showed me it and I was hooked. I want that study book but I am without funds right now. My girlfriend is pregnant. This is the reason I’ve changed my life because I need to take care of her and the baby. I keep messing up when I decide to do as I please. I’ve given my life to the Lord. I would love to have that one book about Jesus. Bernard, CA
Greetings in Christ Jesus, Today I received your application. Yes, I am very much interested in this book. I’ve heard so much about it through the grapevine and I couldn’t find you. But now I have. Enclosed is 10 stamps. I will be waiting to hear from you. I am a Jew, brought up as an Orthodox Jew. I was baptized in 2000. I lost everything including my family due to my conversion. But I’ve gained another family in the process. That is Jesus Christ. Michael, FL
Ronald, Hello. I received a letter from you. I sent you one first. I would like to receive a book from you. The workbook "Change Your Life Biblically". I read that I would have to send some money. This month I have decided to send your ministry my tithes. I have sent you $19.70 for my tithes and $3 for the book. You should be getting the check soon. I believe that God wanted to bless the both of us through each other. William, CA
Dear Christ Ministry, I’m 40 years old currently serving time in prison. I’m just a baby in Christ but want to become a strong Christian. This is why I write you this letter for help. I would like to start your Bible study by mail. This is my 7th time in prison. I’m tired of being tired. When I get out from behind these walls of stone, I find myself coming right back to prison in a matter of months. I know God is the only answer to stay out. Wally, CA
"Dear Jesus Christ Prison Ministry, Please send me your Bible guides through the mail so I can understand the Bible and be able to be free from sin and the devil. I do enjoy doing Bible studies by correspondence since I am so alone and lonely. I have a lot of free time on my hands. I am 50 years old who has no job and no money. Totally broke who is officially a street person who needs to know the truth and why was I born and what is the purpose of my living and being alive at this time. And the meaning of life itself and its purpose. Does anyone truly care? All I see is people hating people. This life that I am living is very bad and I don’t see any love and forgiveness from anyone. All people want to truly do is fight, hate, scream, argue and sue each other. What kind of life is this? Where is God - Jesus when and where you need Him most - behind bars? I don’t want to be lost and alone forever. George, MD
Folks, we have been receiving so many requests for books, not only from inmates, but from churches and people overseas, yet we can hardly keep up with the continuing expenses of keeping this little ministry running and funded. We are truly in debt. Donations have been down over the past six months. I don’t know how we will make it. We pray that God will touch hearts so we will not have to close our doors. God bless each of you. We love you and thank each and every one of you for your love and kindness in supporting this ministry. Ron The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace. Numbers 6:24-26 |
