Prison Mission Report!

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ:

Already March. How time flies when we are having so much fun working for the Lord. Again, this ministry wants to thank each of you for your love and kindness and support for this ministry. Only through your monthly faithfulness will this ministry be able to continue fulfilling the work that God has called us to.

To Whom It May Concern,

The reason why I’m writing you is cause I was wondering if you could send me a copy of "Change Your Life Biblically". I had a copy but the Correctional Officers threw away all my books cause we were involved in a small riot. I was only able to read less than half the book. Now I feel like someone pulled my heart out and stepped all over it. Your book is the best book that’s ever caught my eyes. I thank you so much. Your ministry is the best thing that ever happened to me.

Victor, CA

Dear Mr. John,

I would really like the workbook that you offer. But I am completely indigent and can’t afford to send stamps because I don’t have any. I’m only allowed to write 5 indigent letters a week. I am sorry, but I would really like to have your workbook. I believe it would help me so much. I have found peace through Jesus and am trying very hard to walk in the Christ like way every day. But I only can take one day at a time. It is so very difficult in here with so much corruption and sin around you at all times. But I pray at night for the Lord to keep me in His way for now and for ever more and not to let me return to the worldly monster that I was before I found Him. The pamphlets that you sent in this letter I put in the dayroom for the other prisoners here. So that you may also help the others that ask for your help.

Danny, TX

Dear Brother,

I wrote you a letter asking for prayer for me and my family. I’m asking again. My wife has taken sick from cancer and it is taring our family apart. She set the blame on me for being in here and not there for her. Me myself was a little upset because she having been here for me so I dropped down on my knees and I’m asking God for help and forgiveness.

Walker, CA

Dear Brother Ronald,

I thank you so much for your letter and pamphlets of "Change Your Life Biblically". I was baptized in 2003 and sometimes find it hard to understand some things I read in my Bible. Of course I pray to our Savior Jesus and do research from other versions of Bibles that friends have. I want to learn more and all there is about Jesus. I am a former gang member of one of the biggest gangs in the world. I am now a gangster of God. I put in His work and witness only what I know of Him and what He has done for me. Sometimes I stumble or get discouraged, but it’s only because I want to follow Jesus completely. I know one day that my life will be totally dedicated to Christ. I also know that there is nothing wrong with striving to walk as Jesus has. I am without funds and have been for some time.

Javier, UT

Dear Ministry,

Please send our son the workbook he is asking for. I do know he also wants pen-pals that would write to him. Enclosed is a money order for $20 to help for your costs. Also enclosed is his paper he filled out. Please send him the workbook as soon as possible.

Ron & Elaine, IL

To Jesus Christ Prison Ministry,

I am currently doing seven years in Texas prison system. I am hearing impaired. My friend, a deaf inmate, showed me this book, "Change Your Life Biblically" and made me curiously to dig their words more deeply. I would like to enroll this course if it is possible.

James, TX

How are you doing brother Ron,

I am trying to keep my head above the water so I won’t be overwhelmed by life’s strains. I’ve learned to not only to understand scripture, but to also when and where to use it. But still it hasn’t been easy because it’s like you’re trying to trade in stress for peace, hate for love, hope for faith and doubt for trust and that alone ain’t easy because you’ve been living a certain way all of your life and trying to experience these things is hard. Brother Ron, we both know it’s not easy to make those kinda transitions, but I know it’s necessary because being locked up as long as I have you tend to forget what it is you’re after. Because you try to forget everything that has to do with the world and includes your memories of the past which has a lot to do with the world.

Alex, IL

Dear JCPM,

I’m writing on behalf of the letter you sent back to me. I’m responding to let you know that I would love to send 10 stamps to get the course, but I am indigent and get no money coming in. Can you send the workbook, please? I also have sent you a couple friends in Christ to you. The one gave me a stamp to send this letter back. Also, I would like to know if you can send the workbook and letter to my wife who is incarcerated. She is indigent too. I thank you for helping people like me and my wife and others.

Justin, FL

Dear Prison Ministry,

A friend showed me one of your pamphlets about your workbook titled, "Change Your Life Biblically". I am trying to study and understand the Bible and not really doing a very good job at it. I would like to have one of your books if possible. I look forward to a favorable decision on my behalf.

Wayne, CA

Dear Jesus Christ Prison Ministry,

My name is Angie. I want to purify myself. I have been studying so hard. I still have so many questions. I was given your address and told about a book called, "Change Your Life Biblically". I am very interested in receiving a copy of this book. I need to understand what I’m reading. Thank you for your time.

Angela, IN

JCPM,

First I would like to thank you and all those who assisted in putting this book together and most importantly thanks be to God. I am not one to participate in Bible studies since many are operated by organized churches with secular teachings. I was given your pamphlet by another inmate so I decided to try it out and I am not disappointed in what you have put together. I agree mostly with what you covered on organized religion and the Catholic Church. This is one reason most of us inmates are turned off from the religious types because they preach the saved by grace and run from the tougher questions/issues. It’s all love, peace and give us your money and loyalty/mind with very little about God and His truth. I first started really studying the Bible as an atheist in Pelican Bay about 15 years ago to find discrepancies in the Bible. In the last five or six years my views have slowly changed and I began to understand what I read in the Bible. Suddenly everything is a little clearer and I see everything as sacred and a gift from God, such as family, food, sun, rain, nature, animals and everything good in man. I am inspired by the examples of faith, courage, loyalty, strength (physical, moral mental spiritual), perseverance, discipline, selflessness etc. of the many men and women in the Bible. I am sure you know that in prison men use the Bible and Christianity as a shield when they truly do not believe and fear other men. This used to really bother me, but now I am resigned to leave it in God’s hands. He alone knows a man’s heart, mind and spirit. So I leave the judging to Him. I am still waiting for some stamps and I will donate what I can in the near future and gladly.

To Whom It May Concern:

I am involved in Jail Ministry in Kansas. It is my desire to develop programs that would uplift the men and women and help them in their Christian walk. I would appreciate any material that you might have to send us: books, magazines, tracks, or anything that would help minister to the inmates. I would greatly appreciate anything you can donate to our ministry.

Clyde Jackson, Chaplain

Kansas Jail

Dear Brother Ron,

I have some good news to report. Remember when I wrote to you and told you that I quit my porter job because it required me to work on the Sabbath? The same officer who said that he can respect me for standing up for what I believe in gave me another job. I now work in the laundry and my days off are Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. On Friday I get done before sunset so I can truly honor the Sabbath. God does take care of His own by evidence of my being able to get a job that doesn’t require me to violate the Sabbath. So I can start sending a little bit more for tithes. Not much more, but it’ll be more. I also have laundry contracts on the side. Guys who want extra special service pay for the service. So I have them pick up stamps to cover the tithes.

Dear JCPM,

My name is Stephen a true believer in God. Just recently I received an eight year term. While I was waiting for transfer to state from county, I had a book introduced to me called, "Change Your Life Biblically". I began to read and I begged the brother to let me have his copy and he wouldn’t, but I fully understand him. It is a very good book. That book has really changed my outlook and I obey God and keep the Sabbath on Saturday. It wasn’t easy being that I was raised by old Southern Baptist folks and was taught that Sunday was the Lord’s day. So you can imagine what kind of change that was for me at 40. So, if you would, I would really like the book.

Stephen, CA

Hello,

My name is Samuel. I like science and heard about your book, "Change Your Life Biblically". I was wondering if you could send it to me and anything else you may have. Thank you so very much and God bless you.

Samuel, CA

Dear Brother in Christ,

I found a copy of the book, "Change Your Life Biblically" on a table on my unit here at prison. I instantly picked it up. I began to look it over and realized it had been used. I’ve been an on and off Christian for some time, but need something to ignite the fire within me. I’m hopeful that your book can bring the spark I need. I’m looking forward to completing your book and sharing my experience with you personally.

Everett, IA

Dear Jesus Christ Prison Ministry,

A friend allowed me to read your newsletter. I was wondering if I could be placed on your mailing list for the newsletter and any other available literature? Also, I would like to request a copy of your book, "Change Your Life Biblically". My friend only had one application form available and I noticed that it said that the book was free.

Craig, CA

"Thank for sending me a box of the Book entitle "Change Your Life Biblically" They are very nice and good books. Please, Can I have more for my Church members or any other books from your publication? God will bless you for the good work you are doing.

Pastor Amos Oppong-Mensah

Ghana, West Africa.

Dear Jesus Christ Ministry,

My name is Kevin. I’m an inmate. I have just completed your study book and all I can say is, "Wow!". I remember as a younger child growing up, my mother would take us to church. When I was eight or so, we stopped going. I don’t know why. I spent most of the rest of my 35 years not going to church or reading anything that had to do with God. I’ve attempted suicide twice in my life. The last time just before coming to jail. It was after that last time that I had a realization that there just might be a bigger plan for me. I have always felt or known that there is a God, but I was not sure how or what to do about it. I turned to books that had nothing to do about God looking for answers and found nothing but more questions. When I found myself in jail I still didn’t have any answers at that point. I ended up with a roommate that was into the Bible. I found myself very interested in the Bible and wanting to pray but I had now idea what or how to pray or where to start reading. He suggested I start in the book of Psalm. He told me it was a book of prayers. So I did. I became very fond of 119. I would pray it word for word. One day as I was opening my Bible to pray, I opened it in the book of Deuteronomy. A part of scripture caught my interest. So I started reading the Bible from that point on and haven’t put it down. Now being in jail they have what you call non-denomination services. I started to attend. By this time, mind you, I have spent the last two months to myself in nonstop reading the Bible and the Bible only. I started to feel a real change in me. I don’t feel angry any more. I can already see a difference in the teachings of the three "churches" that came in to meet with us. It’s been a year now that I’ve given my life over to Jesus and stop sinning. Just stopped sinning. But everything I’ve been taught up till now is through the "Sunday church". Now that I read your study book and have asked the question about the teachings of Jesus and the Ten Commandments, none of what they are teaching me is the true teachings in the Bible. They are telling me that I don’t have to keep the Commandments or be perfect. That Jesus is the fulfillment of all of that. Now I don’t remember where in the Bible it says it, but I do remember reading that if a man claims to be from God you would know because what he says will come to pass. My friend, all that you have said has come to pass. Not to overlook telling you the overwhelming feeling of truth that came to me after reading your book. I thank our Father in Heaven for moving your spirit into making this book and making it available to us.

Kevin, FL

Dear Brother,

a fellow Christian inmate has informed me that your ministry has a book, "Change Your Life Biblically". I am therefore humbly requesting a copy of that book. I wish and pray to be released from the dungeon and the sins of this world. The longer I study Scripture the clearer it becomes that God’s love for us isn’t weak or sentimental. Taking His grace for granted and treating disobedience casually is an invitation for Him to discipline us.

Anthony, CA

Folks, I would like to introduce to you Kevin. He is the attorney who is standing up for this ministry. Many prisons have been attempting to keep our books out. The devil just hates the truth and doesn’t want truth to get to the inmates.

But the Lord sent Kevin to help. He works free of charge. He is part of a non-profit organization that is doing what they can to help keep our religious freedoms available to all.

In December they flew me up to Sacrament, California to be part of a settlement hearing before the Federal Judge. I learned a lot. God is using wonderful people to fight His cause in this world of wickedness. I pray that each of you will keep him in your prayers as we continue to keep the prisons open to God’s book, "Change Your Life Biblically".

Also, we love you folks for taking care of us. Because you support us, we don’t have to support ourselves. Therefore, we have the time to answer every inmate who writes us. We have the time to develop the DVD, VHS, CD, videos, web pages and other media formats to get the truth into the hands of people all over the world. Our web site is being accessed by people from China, Iran, Korea, Japan, Philippines, Brazil, Argentina, Germany, France, Spain, Czech Republic, Arab Emirates, England, Ghana, India, Australia, Canada, Cote d’ivoire, Sweden, Costa Rica, Netherlands, Uruguay, Egypt, Nigeria, Israel, Italy, Qatar, Libyan Arab Jamahiriya, and of course America. Now these are only a few of the recent countries.

We have had wonderful success on the web chat rooms. We simply give our web site and invite people to view it. They are and we are getting wonderful responses. Thank you folks for your love and help so we can do the Lord’s work.

Dear JCPM,

Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.

Dear Saints of God,

Sometimes, I find it difficult to found the appropriate words to express my inner feeling to someone who deserves my appreciation. I really don’t know where to start to thank you from a grateful heart. Nothing can describe the joy that filled my heart when I read your informative letter.

Brother, I found no word strong enough to express my warm appreciation towards you for all you have done. No word from any language can unfold my feeling, the very way it is in my heart for such kind gesture. But God who knows and sees the heart will certainly reward, replenish, enrich and shower his blessings upon you the very way it is in my heart desire towards you.

Some people are naturally gifted while many others are not. Some are blessed with the willingness and readiness of mind to help others. I can only say, you are one of them. People like you are rare gift of God for mankind on earth. Please do not relent but keep the ball rolling.

I thank you most sincerely for the great liberality shown by you in giving such a priceless donation which will go a long way in the progress of the work.

The gospel message going to all the world depends upon the liberality of God’s people. We praise the Lord for His wonderful and generous family.

May the Lord bless you and watch over you. May He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. May He Look, kindly on you, give you sound health and give you perfect peace.

Thanks a million,

With much appreciation from,

Paul, Ghana

Well folks, as you can see, we are doing our very little best to meet the needs of these missionaries in Ghana and around the world with this book, "Change Your Life Biblically". However, we are going to have to stop unless we receive an infusion of funding. Please pray that God will touch hearts to fulfill our funding needs.

Ronald,

Thank you for your letter. It brought joy to my heart. I’m really looking forward to receiving my workbook, "Change Your Life Biblically". I have no outside contact and have no funds. I need God and someone to write to keep me going. I’m in Ad-Seg for something I didn’t do, so I’ll be here for a while. Thank you,

Ruben, CA

Dear Jesus Christ Prison Ministry,

I’m writing this letter to be a part of you guy’s prison pen-pal correspondence. I’m a 22 year old male, black African American and I’m interested in a good friend that I may write to keep my mind positive and keep a smile on my face. I’m a single father with 4 beautiful young children. My fiance past away from the sickness of cancer this year. Sometimes I feel like there is no way out of this and I think a Christian pen pal will be the answer. So, with that, I pray that there is someone out there to help me focus more on the Lord.

Larry, TX

Jesus Christ Prison Ministry,

A friend of mine had a book of yours, "Change Your Life Biblically" and I got this address from him and was told you’d probably send me a copy as well. I was very interested in all the history laid out, besides the prophecy from the Bible. I’d like to see how it all fits together.

Patrick, AR

Dear Mr. John,

My name is Donna. I would like to have a "Change Your Life Biblically" workbook to learn more about Jesus and the Bible. Vanessa told me you wanted stamps, but I don’t have any stamps or money. Vanessa has been talking to me about how God has changed her life and how your workbook will help me to learn how Jesus is real and can change anybody’s life. Please send me a workbook. I don’t have peace within and I am scared and don’t want to come back to prison.

Donna, CA

Dear Brother John,

I just received your most welcome letter. I’m totally indigent with no means of support. I would very much like to receive your workbook, "Change Your Life Biblically". But I don’t even have ten stamps or ten stamped envelopes to send you. Please inform me if you are able to help me with this or if I can still receive your workbook.

Alvin, CA

Hello Ron,

Here is 20 Envelopes. 10 are from me and 10 are from my cellie so that you may send us "Change Your Life Biblically".

Sean, CA

Dear Folks. The Lord was truly wonderful to us in 2005. The ministry has been expanding by leaps and bounds. Unfortunately, our funding is not keeping up with the demands being placed on the ministry.

From all over the world we are receiving requests for the book, "Change Your Life Biblically". We were only able to send about 40 cases to other countries last year. That is about 1700 books. But the requests keep pouring in. We are at this time in debt and need more funding to continue the work.

We have had to expand the physical ministry to accommodate Juan, our Spanish translator and our multimedia projects.

We thank each and everyone of you who have been so faithful in your continued support and love of this ministry. Without your continued help, we would never have made it this far.

Love in Christ,

Ron, Director

Juan, translator
