PRAISE THE LORD

Prison Mission Report!

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ:

I pray that God is blessing each and every one of you. I pray that this year has been filled with joy. I love Summer. I thank God for this summer. This ministry has finally come to a point of "finished" for what we needed in our physical plant to do the work appropriately. Now we can do the "work" of God more efficiently. Praise the Lord. Thanks to each of you for your love and continued support of this very little ministry.

By the way, just to let you know, we received a request over the internet for our books in India. We sent a case. We will see how it goes. So many requests from all over the world. If we had the funding, we could send hundreds of books to Ghana, Ethiopia, India, Nigeria, Philippines and many, many other places. But we just don’t have the funding. I pray that hearts will be touched so we can fulfill the commission that God has given us.

Ronald John,

I received my certificate last month and I’m pleased and thankful that I was able to do well in my answers. Your book was easily comprehensible and such a joy to learn from. So I must say "Thank you" for your concern and love for us all and most importantly for Christ Jesus that led you to where you are in life. I know God has many more blessings and roads to travel for you in your future. I pray for all concerned and for your ministry.

Sylvia, AZ

Many of you remember the dear lady who e-mailed me about our web site after chatting with her in a chat room. (See last month’s newsletter.) Well, she wrote again:

Dear Ron,

As my spiritual life and walk takes on a new direction, the information that you have shared with me will be very beneficial. I am looking forward to getting in the Word and growing spiritually.

Thank you for sharing it with me. Be blessed,

Rene, Internet Chat Room

Dear Brother Ron,

As you probably know, I received the book, "Change Your Life Biblically" in June 2005. I finally finished it. What an awesome book! It is filled with so much knowledge. But the fact of the matter is, everything in this book is truth! You did a very impressive job with this! Do you have any other materials you can send me to further my studies? Anything you provide is highly appreciated. Please send the book, "CYLB" to the following indigent inmates. Is there any way I can assist you upon my release in 2008? I would love to help with the ministry. This is the best study I’ve ever completed!

Christopher, NY

Dear Ron,

I just wanted to thank you for one of the most challenging studies I have done. I have done a lot of Bible studies but ended up stopping because they were not teaching the real truth. This study has opened my eyes to a whole new truth I never knew existed. Thank you and may God continue to bless you,

Joshua, NY

JCPM,

Hi, my name is Scott. I received your book a couple weeks ago. I am in Idaho. I’m only on page 50 so far. But am enjoying it and have no regrets. I’ve learned a lot so far. I would like to include you in my prayers. Thank you for the newsletter. I enjoy it very much.

Scott, ID

Dear JCPM,

Just received your newsletter. It’s so great to read how your book is moving so many all over the world. The Lord is blessing so many people through this ministry. I’ve just recently been moved from Florida jail to California. The change has been hard on me. I know that I need only lean on the Lord, but it is so helpful and comforting to have fellow inmates of like mind. That’s not the case here. I’m feeling alone, though I know that the Spirit is with me. There is no one of like mind to talk to. I’ve tried to get some others to read your book, or even talk to them about the truths and history, but it’s disappointing to say the least. It’s hard. I have a roommate who is into witchcraft and he’s always arguing with me about weird stuff. Well, thanks for the wonderful book and newsletter.

Kevin, CA

Dear Brother Ron and everyone at Jesus Christ Prison Ministry,

I have been down for almost 5 years and was supposed to have been released in February 2005. But I am waiting for a writ brought to the court from my attorney for my release. Anyway, I have really gone "through it" since my incarceration, especially this last 2 years. I have lost my father and mother and uncle recently, as well as my home and business. The Lord has been my refuge. Anyway, I’m not sure how or when I started receiving your newsletters, but it has been a real blessing. I don’t know why, but of all the letters and studies I receive here, yours stands out and touches my heart. I have asked for your book, "Change Your Life Biblically" but never received it. I hope you can send me one soon.

Richard, CA

Dear Brother John,

Thank you for your letter, it’s always encouraging. I find it amazing how you write to so many individuals like they were the only ones you write to, like a long time friend. :-) This Sabbath I was in the chapel with four brothers trying to help a brother get back on his feet. Everything was beautiful that day until I noticed one of the good Bible studies I’ve done in the past that I left in case anybody might want to get blessed by it. It was made into paper airplanes all over the chapel library. And the envelope the study came in, I put an arrow next to it saying "good study". But somebody tore the address off. Also, I noticed all the flyers you sent me were gone. Like somebody threw them away on purpose. It’s pathetic how they’ll do anything to stop the truth from getting out. I think I’ll type out a bunch of the good Bible study addresses and make a bunch of copies and spread them out everywhere. Make sure everyone on this yard will see the address for the good studies and books. Without a doubt, including yours.

Timmy, CA

Dear Folks, those hearts of inmates who have been touched with the Spirit of God are truly trying so hard to do God’s work in the mission field of prisons. They need our prayers and support. Many of you could be excellent sources of support for them by becoming "pen-pals" to them. We have a list on our web site for you to visit. The inmates in our pen-pal program are very wonderful inmates. You will be blessed in bringing joy to them.

Those who don’t have access to the web site may write and ask for the list and I will send it to you. God says that those who "visit" inmates are blessed by God. Thank you, each one of you for "visiting" inmates by supporting this ministry and becoming pen-pals to them.

This following letter is from one of our wonderful donors:

"Dear Sir,

I received your newsletter. Sure are lots of lonely inmates who are glad for the help you give in your books. May they all be ready to meet the Redeemer when He comes. Keep on with that kid who was kicking the door until he saw your book. I feel for all who have been led into trouble because of no one’s interest in them..."

Madonna, OR (By the way, she is about 97 years young. God bless her.)

Dear JCPM,

Wow, you have some heavy views. Growing up with the organized church & TBN, you make so much sense. The Holy Spirit has witnessed to me that you’re right on track. Thank you for taking a stand against wickedness. I need to parole with "Change Your Life Biblically". Please send it to me. My cellie shared hers with me but I need my own to walk out of this prison with. Can I serve in your ministry? How? Please let me know.

Leilani, CA

Hi,

My name is Michael. I was referred to you by a friend. The reason that was is I was looking to get more spiritual and have God on my side. I was told by him to give you my information.

Michael, ND

Hello,

My name is Gilbert. I am doing about 3 more years in prison. This book came my way from a C/O (Correctional Officer). All because I wanted a book. Now that I’m reading it, I think it will help me. Can I get a new "Change Your Life Biblically"? This one does not have answer sheets.

Gilbert, CA

The following is an email from Ghana:

Dear sir,

It is my greatest pleasure to inform u that I was excited and moved by ur wonderful website. It has helped my youth ministry a lot and I will be much grateful if evangelism materials and other materials for mission work in villages will be sent to me through my post office address to help most of my youth in the villages and cities in Ghana. I will be glad to hear from u soon. Romeo the founder and leader of Emmanuel Outpost Mission in Ghana.

To Whom it may Concern,

Please send me a copy of "Change Your Life Biblically". I would very much appreciate it. Someone passed the first volume to me and I have been reading it. I don’t know if there were any answer sheets or any study booklets besides the main one. I only have the first book and that’s all. So if there is any additional stuff, please send it.

Mike, CA

Dear JCPM,

My name is James. My friend is Kenneth and we would both like to receive copies of your book "Change Your Life Biblically". We are both long timers. I have 48 years and Kenneth has 50 years. We’ve heard good things about your book. We would greatly appreciate at least one that we could share.

James, CO

Folks, at times I wonder if all the time and effort I put into the different things we do really pays off. I was putting in hours a day for about four weeks on the internet going from chat room to chat room putting out information. Was about to stop when I received this email:

"My son is incarcerated at Southwestern Correctional Center in East St. Louis. I would like him to receive your Bible studies. I do not have a computer of my own. I am borrowing my aunt’s for just today. Could you please mail me information on how I can sign my son up for services in your ministry. I am a Christian and I want my son to know and love the Lord Jesus Christ. If you have a prayer ministry. Please keep us in your prayers.

Thank You and God Bless You.

In Christ,

Vicki, IL"

Hearts are breaking all over the world because of sin. Sin destroys. Sin hurts. Sin is bringing destruction to so many lives, families and as you all know from watching the news, the world. This little ministry is doing everything in its power to bring the knowledge of the Gospel to people: that we can stop the sin in our lives. That we can live the powerful sin-free life that Jesus offers us. That is "Good News". Thank you folks for your love and continued support of this ministry. Without your continued support with full tithes and offerings, we would not be able to continue.

"To those who believe, Christ is the sure foundation. These are they who fall upon the Rock and are broken. Submission to Christ and faith in Him are here represented. To fall upon the Rock and be broken is to give up our self-righteousness and to go to Christ with the humility of a child, repenting of our transgressions, and believing in His forgiving love. And so also it is by faith and obedience that we build on Christ as our foundation. . . .

"In infinite wisdom, God chose the foundation stone, and laid it Himself. He called it ‘a sure foundation’. The entire world may lay upon it their burdens and griefs; it can endure them all. With perfect safety they may build upon it. Christ is a ‘tried stone’.

Those who trust in Him He never disappoints. He has borne every test. He has endured the pressure of Adam’s guilt, and the guilt of his posterity, and has come off more than conqueror of the powers of evil. He has borne the burdens cast upon Him by every repenting sinner. In Christ the guilty heart has found relief. He is the sure foundation. All who make Him their dependence rest in perfect security." EGW:DA

Dear Brother Ron,

Thank you very much for your last letter. As always, your letters prove to be a spiritual boost. I’m sorry to hear that Jeff has decided to leave the ministry for the world. I’m not so sure this isn’t a common occurrence among people until they finally stop to hear the call of the Father. We must respond to the Father as shown in 1 Samuel 3:10 when Samuel finally recognized, after the fourth call, by answering, "Speak, for your servant hears." This becomes, at best, such a difficult task for us when we are faced with all of the pressures of the outside world, the flesh. Yes, the key is obedience to the words of Jesus Christ, my Savior.

Mike, GA

Dear Brother Ron,

Enclosed is $17.25. I didn’t get a whole lot of stamps this time around, but did get money in so this covers my tithes and offerings for both. Today I got your letter. In it you said that the more dependent I am on Him the closer He comes to me. Even though I already knew that to an extent, it still amazes me when I actually put that into effect. Take the money that came in for example. I didn’t write home and ask for it because they only have so much themselves. So I don’t even think about money because like you said, the more dependent, the closer He comes. He knows what we really need even though we may not. The money was a surprise. Totally unexpected and truly appreciated. Even though it was for only $15.00 I had to think about if I truly needed it or if it was given to me for another purpose. I think that it was for another purpose so that’s why I decided to send you the whole $15.00 plus the extra to make up for not having the stamps instead of just 25%. I look at it this way. Do I truly need it? I don’t think so. I’m given three meals a day, clothes to wear, a bed to sleep in, and a job that had to be given by God. So what else do I truly need in regards to physical items? The ministry could use the money more than I could. And do you know what? I didn’t have to think about it twice like I would have years ago. I’m glad I’m able to give back to God through you. ON another note, I have some sad news to report from the "battlefield". The first is that we lost a soldier in the war against Satan. Remember when I submitted a form for an inmate by the name of Nathaniel? Well, when he got his copy of the book from you, he was so happy that he jumped right into it. He was so gung-ho about sharing what he was learning with everyone including the Muslims we have here. He even got the Muslims to sit down with him and break open some Bibles and do some studying with him. It was great. You should have seen him. But here is where we lost him. The Muslims got inside his head and twisted his thinking all up. He is now converting to Islam and I feel it is all my fault. He told me about it and said that this is what he really wants. I tried to talk to him about it but he is dead set on converting. I told him that I’ll still be here for him and that I’ll still be his friend. He said he still plans on continuing with the book. The other piece of sad news is actually a blessing in disguise. Christopher who is my co-conspirator for the ministry is getting transferred tomorrow. I’m kind of sad because we’ve gotten close and have become brothers in Christ. But at the same time, I’m also happy because when he gets to the next spot he can introduce everyone there to the ministry. So it’s bad but also good. God has a purpose for everyone and we need to realize what that purpose is and do it. Keep up the good work.

Joshua, NY

This next letter came from one of our wonderful and dedicated donors. He states:

"Dear Ronald John,

Aloha Friends. Praying that the Lord is leading you both each day to better serve Him. Do hope and pray the Spanish book can be printed soon. I expect the need is great for this literature to be in Spanish.

Each and every month I praise God to learn how the Spirit is working in men and women’s lives. The newsletter is filled with hope and I am thankful to learn how Jesus is working to prepare a people to meet Him.

I humbly ask that you send a case of books to Health Works in Hilo on The Big Island of Hawaii. After 4 years this project is moving into another phase, Praise God. Michael needs literature like yours to help those who have had their lives turned upside down by ICE and other substances.

I am not sure I have seen a better book to minister to these precious souls. In just a short time the bookstore will open and many meetings are being held at this time. Each week Health Works hosts a Christ centered 12-step meeting.

Please send Michael any instructions you might have for him to effectively use these books... Many souls need the miracle working power of the Holy Spirit in their lives. ‘Others He met were fighting a hand to hand battle with the adversary of souls. These He encouraged to persevere, assuring them that they would win; for angels of God were on their side and would give them the victory.’ MH"

David, FL

Dear JCPM,

I would like to receive your study book for myself. One of the other inmates that I’m housed with has been letting me read his. Thank you,

Michael, CA

Dear JCPM,

I would like to do your Bible study but I don’t have money to buy stamps. And I would like to know more about Jesus.

Jason, OR

Dear Brother Ron,

I have been transferred to a new prison and left my old book there. Please send a new book. I am sending along a form for a friend. Please send more applications. Lots of people hungry here for Christ.

Mark, CA

Dear Brother Ron,

Enclosed is 12 stamps. As I get more I’ll send them as usual. Money was tight for a few people so I told them that’s OK. I got my "diploma" that you sent me. Thank you. I call it a diploma because that is what it really is. It is to show further evidence that I am on the true path. This is the first time that I can recall every being truly happy about an achievement. But like you said, this doesn’t mean I can now stop and rest on my journey. I’m going to still continue with the book and the Bible. I’ll enjoy my rest when I get to my true home. I tell everyone who is willing to listen that we must never stop and become complacent in the faith. Everyday is to be spent in studying and taking what we’ve learned and put it into action. We must continually study to not only show ourselves approved but to test everything. James 1:19-25 is one of my favorites when it comes to combatting the whole idea about let’s just sit back and let God do everything. You should look at these peoples faces when they finally realize what true faith is. I told you in the last letter about Chris being transferred. The officials here are talking about shipping out a good percentage of people here. Everybody is running around all stressed out and stuff. Me? I look at it this way. God has a plan for me and if He wants me to stay here and try to bring His truth and light to people here then I’m staying. If He determines that I’m to go somewhere else to continue then I’m going. I’m not worried about it because I know that He is here for me. This is exactly what I tell people when they ask me how come I’m so calm about the situation.

God bless,

Joshua, NY

Dear Brother Ronald,

I received your letter today and I wanted to thank you for answering my letter. I would like to encourage you and your new helpers to keep up the good work that you are doing for the inmates in the name of Jesus. Thank you so much for the words of encouragement that you have sent me. I have come to study the Word daily and have put my life into the hands of the Lord to do as He may. Your book, "Change Your Life Biblically" has given me much insight. You teach the truth. God will bless your ministry very much I’m sure. Thank you for steering me on the right path and teaching me things I never knew about the Word. I do share your book with people here and give them the pamphlets that you send so that they can get their own Bible study. People are amazed at what truth that you teach. Your teaching is very much needed inside these walls. The lives that you change through the Word of God are many.

Dan, TX

Brother Ronald John,

I am currently serving time for a parole violation. My fifth over the past year and a half. I know that I need to gain wisdom and understanding as to the resolve I have claimed many times. It seems no matter what or to how great a degree of study I submit myself, I do not have the power of will to see my responsibilities through. I am tired and wish to truly know what it is God would have me know to be able to stop running from, but grasp what it means to be truly forgiven. I am truly interested in "Change Your Life Biblically" if possible.

Timothy, CA

Dear Brother Ronald,

I am inclosing a money order for $25 for my tithes and offerings. I also appreciate your monthly letters. I was wondering if you can send a copy of "Change Your Life Biblically"? The thing is I gave the one I had to another inmate that was interested in knowing God. I will highly appreciate it.

Sincerely,

Luis, AZ

Brother Ronald John,

I wanted to write to let you know that I got my book, "Change Your Life Biblically" yesterday. I have already started reading it. So far what I have read I have read through three times to make sure I understand it. I’ m going to do my best to get it done right. I spend most of my free time doing Bible studies. I want to learn all I can about God and to get closer to Him. Thank you again,

Helena, OK

Dear Ron,

Thank you for all the encouragement from the book and newsletters. I can’t help but to feel the Lord has directed my paths all along. I don’t know what took me so long to come to the Lord. It was pride and stubbornness I suppose. Doing things my own way, with total disregard to Gods goodness. I know I‘ll never be without him again. My prayers are for his guidance all day long. I’ve really discovered that the most deceptive tactic Satan bestows on us is about the Lord’s 7th day Sabbath, and yet so many people want to disregard it for countless reasons. That’s all for now, I’ve got to wrap this up to make the mail.

God bless you,

Peter, IL

Jesus Christ Prison Ministry,

Hello,

I am currently a prisoner in a Texas prison and was able to briefly view the book called, "Change Your Life Biblically". I would love to actually be able to read the book. I am a new Christian and seek knowledge. May I please have a copy of that book? Prison has given me time to study, but I have a lack of material.

Thank you very much,

Shayne, TX

To whom it may concern:

I would love to receive the "Change Your Life Biblically" workbook. I am determined to have even a closer walk with my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. So, I feel that this workbook will allow me to look into areas of the Bible that I don’t know. I thank him for allowing me to accept this workbook, and also, for your life-changing offer. I’m sure that this gift will touch lives around the workplace, society, and homes across the world.

God bless,

Matthew, ID

Dear folks. My son, Juan and I would like to thank you again for your support to this little ministry. It is always a pleasure to receive your letters of encouragement and financial support. We even enjoy the privilege of talking with you on the phone or by email. Within this month’s newsletter you will find an insert that gives a brief description of our daily routine. God bless all of you for your continued support.
