Prison Mission Report

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Dear Ronald John,

Please forgive me. I should have told you. I’m sorry I didn’t explain what happened. Yes, I received a book in June and what happened was me and a friend of mine was working together in it and I was working in the kitchen one day when she got released. I bawled because she took my book. I was more hurt that she took it. But maybe she needed it more than I. Brother Ron, I know you are a nonprofit organization and I really am trying my best to do what I can, also for my sisters in here. I’ll send 3 stamps now and some next week when I can get more. Please send me another workbook for I was getting lots of good info and was learning so much. I really need this book, please sir.

Tonya, OR

To Whom it may concern,

I’m writing in regards to your book, "Change Your Life Biblically". I’ve been saved since "95" but during all these years I’ve been in and out of the prison system. This is my 5th term and God willing my last. I know in my heart I’ve been called to win the lives of many, already I’ve brought a few people to the Lord. But with my trials and my walk of life, with drugs, gangs, habitual criminal acts, I feel I can reach out to the youth and the homeless. But I need to get closer and closer with the Lord. Sometimes it gets difficult being in prison. But we both know Paul wrote some of his best books in prison. Well, I hope I can receive this book of yours. I have no funds, no stamps and I was blessed with an indigent envelope to send this off.

Genaro, CA

(Again we see the results of inmates who think they were "saved" but have found that they were lied to and cheated out of a real salvation experience. They have never been taught truth. True salvation frees us from sin and they would not be spending their lives in prison. Jesus breaks the bonds of sin in our lives so we can live the victorious, sinless life of Jesus. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

This ministry is dedicated to bringing the truth to every inmate who is tired of being bound by sin and the devil and the devil’s "salvation and churches and religions". Let us return to our God in truth and in Spirit and walk as He walked: perfectly without sin.)

Ron & JCPM,

I just received your newsletter and I must say, I get more mail from you than I get from my family. I guess you know the feeling when that Correctional Officer walks past your cell or bunk every day. I have also received my own copy of "Change Your Life Biblically" along with 2 letters. My two friends also received theirs yesterday, so there are three copies just in our cell block. I myself have handed out about 10 of the things you send so other people can experience the truth. I leave one on my table in the chow hall every once in a while. We don’t get very much day room so I’m not able to study with others. But I spend a good 2-3 hours a day if not more in my Bible alone. Not to mention the workbook and other spiritual stuff. I will keep in touch. I will also remind my friends and family to try to send you a donation.

Cody, CA

Dear Ministry,

I learned of your ministry through a fellow inmate. Glory be to God that I am a born again Christian who delights in His mercy. A couple of things drew me to your ministry, the workbook, "Change Your Life Biblically" sounded very interesting and being placed on a pen pal web site. I’ve been given a lengthy sentence of 33 years to life. I have no outside financial support.

Samuel, CA

Dear Ron,

Man, thank you!! Your study is undoubtedly one of the most in-depth I have ever seen. It is without question the hardest I have even tried to complete. There is so much information in the book I will keep it as a reference for a long time, I’m sure. The historical stuff is especially great to me. I literally spent weeks with it. I only wish I was in a position to help you out financially. At this time I can’t. It is only 6 more years before I go home, hopefully. I will remember you and what you did for me at that time with financial help. In the meantime, I will be sharing what I have learned from you and your ministry with other inmates as often as I can.

William, TX

JCPM,

I have learned many new things I’ve never heard. I do believe what I’ve heard. It all makes sense. Feeling like a whole new way of worshipping God in my life now.

Mark, CA

Jesus Christ Prison Ministry,

Please send me the workbook. I will appreciate it Because I’m interested and I want to change my life by living the way God wants me to. I am totally indigent. No support of kind on the outside. No means financially to send you. Will you be so kind to send me "Change Your Life Biblically".

Douglas, CA

JCPM,

Sorry it took so long, but I had to wait for my parents to send me some stamps. So here they are, God bless you.

Glenn, CA

Dear JCPM,

Yes, I would like to get a workbook from you. I need to change my life. I would like to get your workbook. An inmate gave this to me. I like what it said. So please help me out on getting your workbook to me. One more thing, I do not have money at this time. But I will soon, OK?

William, CA

Dear JCPM,

I want to thank you for sending me the workbook, "Change Your Life Biblically". I have been studying the word on a daily bases since 2004. I’m just in the first few pages of the study book, and I’m already enjoying it. Faith has always been what I’ve enjoyed studying. I try to always keep my eyes fixed on Christ. Without faith I would not be able to do this. My goal is to learn as much about the word as possible and never stop learning so I will be able to share it with others. God wants us to spread His word to everyone. I’ve told all my brothers here at this prison about JCPM and how it can help change their lives in Christ. Please send me more flyers to pass out. Once again, thank you so much.

Robert, CA

To Jesus Christ Prison Ministry,

A friend of mine got a book from you called, "Change Your Life Biblically". There were so many good things wrote in your book. I would like for you to send me a copy please. I don’t have money but I would really like to have a copy.

John, CA

To Whomever receives this letter,

I would like to receive a Bible through the Bible to inmate program. If you have any Bible study literature, would you please send it also? I am asking God to come into my life so that I may live and please Him. I would also love to be mentioned in your prayer service. Thanks.

Algie, FL

This next letter came in from one of our donors. I thought I would pass it on. Each one of us is touched by sin in this world. Someday we will live in a world where there is no sin. But until we get there, there will be battles to fight. This little newsletter is a way for us to share those battles so that we can grow stronger in our obedience to Jesus. He has promised us that if we live obedient to Him, not a church, or pastor or a committee, but to Him and Him a lone, we can be healed in our lives. Our mission is to learn how to live in obedience to Jesus so we can live as He as promised: not to receive any of the sicknesses that the world has. That is what the book, "Change Your Life Biblically" is all about. It was dictated and directed by the Holy Spirit for those what wish to be free of sin.

"I’m sorry Ron for taking so long to send you money for your ministry. I’ve been exploring the valley of the shadow of death. I found out I had a particularly aggressive inflammatory breast cancer and if I didn’t start chemo therapy immediately, have surgery as soon as the tumor was a safe size to take out and then more chemo and then two months of radiation, I wouldn’t be alive in a year.

But do you know what, I’m very much alive at the end of the year. God gave me the strength and the will to keep going. I will be finished with radiation in a week and a half. God has been so faithful. He has given me a wonderful peace through all of this. He has helped me keep a positive attitude. I’ve been so blessed. Friends and family have supported me in ways I didn’t expect. I have a wonderful support system that gives me the security of knowing I am loved and cared for. Having to deal with the cancer which I don’t accept as a part of me, has turned out to be a blessing in disguise. I’ve never felt so loved and cared for. Before I wasn’t quite sure, now I know. I’m cared for by friends, doctors and family. They are with me all the way, but the most important things is I know God cares for me and loves me in a very special way. I can depend on Him when the way gets too rough. He picks me up in His arms and carries me the rest of the way. ‘God’s prints in the Sand’ is my favorite poem. It hold some things special for me.

So I’m very much alive and I still have my spunk. It hasn’t been an easy journey but it has been worth while because I totally trusted God and turned it all over to Him. He has carried me through the ‘Shadow of death".

Sincerely,

Teryl, ID

Sin, like cancer, must be completely eradicated from the life. If we want to live, we must use every weapon at our disposal to cut it, Irradiate it, Chemo it, Wash it and dispose of it. Won’t it be a wonderful day when we gather around each other to encourage each other in our fight against sin. How sad that most people shun and discard, not the cancer of sin, but the person, from their lives and society. Let us live as Jesus lived, loving and helping the person, while hating the sin. As we do to others He will do to us. May our lives reflect His love in how we support this little ministry that is helping those inmates who have been infected with the cancer of sin.

My Dear Brother in Christ, Ron,

A friend of mine here in jail has introduced me to your "Change Your Life Biblically" book. WOW! He said I could write you to get one of my own. I’m indigent, but will send you some money and/or stamps to support your ministry when I get out in a few months. Thank you for doing this for all of us.

Derek, IN

Dear Ronald,

I am writing to inform you that I would appreciate if you could please send me a book. I have no means of support. I am really trying to change my life around. I am a six time loser. I have spent the majority of my life in jail. I have no contact with family or friends. I wish I could help pay for the book. Maybe when I get a pay number I can send my $5.

Robert, CA

Hello Mr. John,

I been almost 5 years in jail. I turn 5 years in February 5, 2007. I’m 24 years and I’m doing a life sentences. I have my family in Mexico. My dad he’s 57 years old and my mom, she’s 50 years old. Can you please ask Jesus our Savior that I need his help. Pray for my parents too. Thank you very much and please send me the answer sheets. I’m still learning English. That’s why you don’t understand my writing, but I would try to do my best on the answer sheets. I know the teaching of Jesus: be perfect, stop sinning and keep the 10 commandments every single day.

Antonio, CA

Folks, we need the book printed into Spanish.  So many requests come in from our dear brothers and sisters who can only read Spanish. I pray that God will touch hearts to raise the $30,000 needed to print the books into Spanish.

Mr. R. John,

I have received your letter today and I have no funds in my account as you can tell by my trust account printout. The two numbers that I have circled on the printout is how much restitution that I owe to the courts. Anyway, I have no contact with my family at the present time. They have recently moved and haven’t written to me to let me know what their new address and phone number are. As soon as my family contacts me, they will be able to send me stamps and maybe some money. I am looking forward in doing the Bible study course.

Charles, CA

Dear Jesus Christ Prison Ministry,

I found your address in a newsletter. I am interested in enrolling in a Bible study with you.

James, CA

To Whom it may Concern,

I borrowed a workbook, "Change Your Life Biblically" and have to give it back, unfortunately. I loved it!! I would really appreciate if you could send me my own copy to do and turn in. There was a lot of good information to learn from. I liked it so much I was wondering if you could send my wife one to do along with me while I serve my 5 years sentence. I know she’d love it. I’ve been writing home telling her about it. Maybe she could send in a donation when she receives her copy. I know this will take us to a whole new level in our walk with God.

Jerold, CA

Dear Brother Ron,

I would like to thank you for the book, "The Great Controversy". It is an awesome book. I had never really read what people had to go through for us to have a Bible. I am half way through. Well, here is a money order for $35.

Joe, CA

Dear Ronald John,

How right you are. It was my actions that caused my books to be lost. I just wanted to thank you for sharing in the wisdom God has blessed you with. I’ve got 9 months to rethink my actions and start your workbook over with a little more seriousness. I owe you. I owe it to myself. But most of all, I owe it to Jesus to start living as you said and He said, Perfect. I love your duck pond.

Kevin, CA

Dear Mr. Ronald John,

I am writing to you for the books that you provide for offenders. Also to be placed on your monthly mailing list. Brother John, I would like to inform you that I’m an indigent offender and I love the Lord and I am 50 years old. I want to get closer to God. I need help in finding my way and more about how to be a better person and how to walk a good Christian life. Brother I need help and whatever you have that can help me to be the man that God wants me to be, please forward to me.

L.D., TX

Dear Brother Ronald,

I want to praise you for what you are doing for other inmates because not to many people want to put time and effort into the "criminals" of society. Most inmates aren’t all that bad. I am receiving your newsletters and enjoy them so. We have this one inmate who has helped me in many ways with learning the Word of God. He leads us in our Bible studies. But he is the one who showed me your book. Excellent if I might add. I will have to get my own for he is to be leaving us soon. I plan to send money when I get out. But as of now I only get money once a month. But I do plan on keeping in touch , in and out of jail. As we say here, "Put on our armor and make our stand for we are Knights of the Kingdom of Heaven". What do I need to get my own copy of the book?

Benjamin, IN

Dear Brother in Christ,

My name is John and I’m a lifer. I’m serving 104 years in which I have put in so far 12 years. I’m a born again Christian so I know where I’m going when the state is finished with this body. I came across your book and would love it if you would send me my own to study. Could you please send me "Change Your Life Biblically". Thank you my brother and God bless you and all that you set your heart to do for the work of Jesus.

John, CA

Dear Sir,

I would like it very much if I could receive a copy of the workbook, ‘Change Your Life Biblically". I have no funds or anyone that I can get the funds from. When I am released I’ll be on my own. But while I’m here I would like to come to know the meaning of the Scriptures and its understanding.

Sammy, CA

Hello,

I am studying the book, "Change Your Life Biblically" and totally enjoying it. I’m not new to the idea of Christianity, but I am a new Christian. Having at last, after 48 years, finding my "faith" or perhaps I should say, "purpose". Anyhow, it’s all good. I have as I said the "Change" book. But I’ve noticed as my study continues I don’t seem to have the answers or questions that I guess accompany the book. I found it and it, the book alone, is all. I mean it was in this cell by itself so I’m not sure what goes with it. If I am missing something can you please send it to me. I am going to go ahead and use the book as it is. It’s still brand new by the way. No one had ever worked from it.

James, CA

Dear Ronald,

I received your letter concerning the workbook. Although it is truly my desire to send this ministry the $5 it has requested, I am unable to. At the moment I fall under the category of "totally indigent". However my prayers are not totally indigent. You are being lifted up here on the unit. With this, I would like to request your workbook. I am hungry for the Lord and continue to learn more and more daily about who our Father is.

Albert, TX

Mr. John,

Hello. I know that 10 stamps isn’t much, but I am indigent. Wishing and praying that I could be of help. Is there anything else that I could do to show my appreciation cause I do thank you for this program. Plus, I truly want to change my life.

Carl, TX

Dear Ronald,

I have been moved from reception. This is where I will finish my term at. I am asking please to help me out with the workbook. As I wrote you before I have no money at all. This is an indigent envelope. I am looking for all the help I can get to change my life.

Mark, CA

Ronald John,

Thank you for writing me back so quickly. My name is Brandon and I’m 22 years old and on my third prison term. Basically I’ve been wasting my whole life in and out of juvenile hall, jail and prison. The longest time I’ve spent on the streets in the last 8 years has been three months. I used to be very interested in God. I turned my back on God. Worst choice I’ve ever made and I have made a lot of stupid ones. I’ve just recently realized how bad that choice was and where it has led me in my life. I started doing a Bible study and it has been a real blessing and an eye opener. I believe He is working in my life. I am very interested in serving my life for Jesus. I am without any help from my family or support from anybody. I went around and borrowed a couple of stamps. It was all I could get. Is there anyway you can help me out? I’ll be sure to send you envelopes as I get them.

Brandon, CA

Dear Brother,

My name is Eva. I have two sons in prison. I ask for prayer for them. They had told me about some books named, "Change Your Life Biblically" by Jesus Christ Prison Ministry. Could you let me know where I could order them or find them? Thank you.

Eva, CA

To Whom It May Concern,

My name is Adam. I am a new Christian. I am trying to learn as much as I can about God and His angels. I also will try to find a church when I get out. If you might know of one that might accept an ex-con please let me know.

Adam, CA

(Unfortunately Adam, every church I go to I get kicked out of. You know, bad influence. Don’t want the children around an ex-con. The best thing is to do what Jesus says to do. Start a home-church. Use the book, "Change Your Life Biblically" as your Bible study guide and invite your friends and neighbors and family to come and learn how to love and care about all people. Those are the only ones going to Heaven.)

Hi Ron,

Just a short little letter to say "Thank you" for all you do in the service of the Lord. I’m sending a donation. I know it’s not much, but I’m only making $35-$40 a month and normally I tithe to different places each month. But the Lord lead me to send you something because all those other places send money over seas to help and that’s OK, but I really respect that you help those who are around me here in prison and across the states. If we can help save souls here, then they can be 1 of 10 of 10 of 10 and so on so each soul we reach is one more soul to help reach out and touch someone else’s life. God bless you and keep up the good work.

Joseph, OR

To Whom it may Concern,

I’ve just recently given my life to the Lord and as you can see, I am incarcerated. I met a brother who is in contact with you and has informed me that you would have Christian literature available for someone who would correspond with you. So if possible could you forward any Christian literature. Thank you so much for your time and consideration. I will be waiting patiently for your reply.

Tony, CA

Dear Ron,

Thank you for the certificate and the kudos. I learned a lot from the study. I’m praying now for boldness in sharing the Word. I’ve always been a little shy. Thank you also for running this web site and giving me the chance to make new friends. I’ve never even been on the internet so I’m kind of excited about this new experience. Can’t wait to see the results and get some mail. I’ve spent a big portion of my life drinking and wasn’t very interested in making new friends. But the older I’m getting I’m beginning to see how important good friends can be.

Mark, CA

Mr. Ronald John,

I wish to receive your workbook. I am totally indigent. But Michael has sent me his stamps and Tammy pitched in with hers. I hope I’m doing this correctly. We would love to study this book and learn together. Michael and I are from the high desert area so you are close to home for us. Michael will hopefully be released soon and being you are right there and ask if we would like to work for Jesus in this ministry, well hey, I’m knowing Michael is looking for a direction to head in. We thank you so much.

Katrina, CA

(An inmate from NY wrote me and included a clipping from a news article. This is what he sent.)

Love In Christ,

Ron
