"Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Does he not leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it?... there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent."
Luke 15:4, 7

Then the righteous will answer him, "Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and cloth you? when did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?" The King will reply,  "I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine you did for me." Matthew 25:37-40

PRAISE THE LORD

Prison Mission Report!

Dear Brothers and Sister in Christ,

There are many to whom life is a painful struggle; they feel their deficiencies and are miserable and unbelieving; they think they have nothing for which to be grateful. Kind words, looks of sympathy, expressions of appreciation, would be to many a struggling and lonely one as the cup of cold water to a thirsty soul. A word of sympathy, an act of kindness, would lift burdens that rest heavily upon weary shoulders. And every word or deed of unselfish kindness is an expression of the love of Christ for lost humanity. {MB 23.1}

The merciful "shall obtain mercy." "The soul of blessing shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself." Proverbs 11:25, margin. There is sweet peace for the compassionate spirit, a blessed satisfaction in the life of self-forgetful service for the good of others. The Holy Spirit that abides in the soul and is manifest in the life will soften hard hearts and awaken sympathy and tenderness. You will reap that which you sow. "Blessed is he that considereth the poor. . . . The Lord will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and Thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies. The Lord will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: Thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness." Psalm 41:1-3. {MB 23.2}

He who has given his life to God in ministry to His children is linked with Him who has all the resources of the universe at His command. His life is bound up by the golden chain of the immutable promises with the life of God. The Lord will not fail him in the hour of suffering and need. "My God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:19. And in the hour of final need the merciful shall find refuge in the mercy of the compassionate Saviour and shall be received into everlasting habitations. {MB 24.1}

Ron,

I had a visit from one of my five brothers. It was nice although I did get some bad news. My 19 year old son got locked up. What hurts is that I’ve been writing to my kids about God and doing things right for almost 7 years. Apparently he didn’t pay much attention to my letters. I can only hope and pray to God now that this has gotten his attention. I have been noticing with some of my cellies that things go good for awhile. They see what kind of person I am, how devoted I am to keeping my focus on God. What happens is all of a sudden there is a lot of tension in the air and it seems like things could blow up anytime. What it is, I’ve figured out, is that cellies feel guilty being around me. They can’t stop getting involved in their gambling or porn or watching some of these senseless movies and TV shows. They feel so guilty being around me because I pretty much stay in the Word all day. There has been so many things happening that prove more and more of how prevalent the spirit world is. How much we need to keep our mind on God and keep our nose in the Bible.

Peter, IL

Dear Brother Ron,

Could you please send a "Change Your Life Biblically" to my friend? I am enclosing the $5 it costs for him because he has no money or family in Utah. I’m doing good reading the book daily. I can see a whole new self since reading your book. Thank you so much. Take care Ron. God bless you and your family. Also, I’m sending a donation for you of $10. I love you and your ministry Ron.

Jed, UT

Dear JCPM,

I can’t thank you enough for the "Change Your Life Biblically" book you have sent me. It’s awesome. Maybe I can come visit you some day. I’ll stay in touch. Please do the same.

Bobby, CA

Hello:

My name is Gary Wakeman and I am the chaplain in Washington and I am writing you in regard to your book "Change your life biblically" and was wanting to know if there was any chance of you being willing to donate some of these books to the men. If you can do this it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Gary Wakeman, Chaplain, WA prison

To Whom It may Concern,

I learned a lot about revelations and how things have come to pass. How Christianity has evolved over the many years and through the many empires that fought to have control of people, resources, etc. I see how one can be misguided and led to follow everything but the commandments. That I don’t have to join a church or group to be a follower of Christ. My actions alone will speak of my beliefs. It’s easy for me to speak, but I would like for the actions to speak for me. The historical facts inside of the book are eye opening. I have never been exposed to so many facts about the Bible. I was happy to learn so many truths and to be enlightened by what was said.

Curtis, CA

Dear Brother Ron,

I have a brother here on the unit with me that has a copy of your book. I have been trying to talk him out of it but he just don’t seem to want to let it go. So I’m writing to get my own. My brother told me that he has sent the 10 stamps. He told me to ask that I may be able to get the book for them.

Darrell, TX

Dearest Ronald John,

Big hello to you. Your letters are always well timed and welcome. I really enjoy your letters. They are inspiring and uplifting. God knows I can use the positive input in this negative place. I have read through Change Your Life Biblically once. I now am working on the second go around. I feel like I could possibly tackle the worksheets, but I will take your advice and read it a few more times. It is hard to find pure and holy media. That is why I try to just read and do my Bible studies. Christian rock seems to be a kind of oxymoron. A contradiction in terms if ever I’ve heard one. I really love music. It is taking the power of the Holy Spirit to keep my salvation intact. Anyone who tries to say that music doesn’t have any negative influence just needs to try and quit. It’s worse than cigarettes to me.

Johnny, CA

Ronald John,

I did receive the book. Thank you again. I’m still here focussed as I can. Though tests and pressures surround me, I stand my ground. Christ provides and protects. I hereby mail you 20 stamps. It’s what I could do for now. I was touched by a woman’s requests in this month’s newsletter. I already passed on the newsletter. But a mother who was without stamps and had children incarcerated as well. I have a little one and can relate. Please, if you can, get these books out there. Hungry souls need them. I know it’s only 20 stamps but hopefully others give as well. It was a good thing I read the recent newsletter about the art on a possible web page. That by far I’m so interested. To prove it, I’ve drawn this and I would like to donate it to you and Jeff (JCPM) to promote this art function. I draw, though I’m a beginner, it’s my bread and water. It provides me my few needs and a few wants once in a while. It keeps me humble and not so dependant on others. Paul does say that the man who does not work does not eat. So I do what I can. Please take this gift. Hopefully it sparks a flame.

Frankie, CA

(If you would like him to draw your pictures, send a picture that I can send to him to draw for whatever you wish to donate to help him. Eventually I want to put up a page on the web of inmate sample work for you to choose from.)

To Whom It May Concern,

One of my friends just received your book, "Change Your Life Biblically". He told me it is very good and it works! He passed me a form which I enclosed in this letter. I am indigent at the moment and I have no way of getting money. If possible, would it be too much of a hassle to bless me with a book? I’m really trying to change my life. I feel this book could really help me along the way.

Anthony, CA

Dear JCPM,

Your three volume book has recently been brought to my attention and I am delighted with it. Overall, I support your approach and presentation and I’d guess we approach agreement on a great majority of the issues. Please send me a copy of your book for my personal library and maybe one for my chapel library.

Leonard, WA

Dear JCPM,

I have taken and continue to take other Bible studies. But yours takes the cake and brought to light a lot of things not taught in other Bible studies. You’ve opened my mind to a lot of things not normally discussed. Your studies have been a challenge and very helpful and full of knowledge. They have taken me three months to complete. At times I felt like giving up on it but praise God for not letting me give up.

Michael, CA

To Whom It May Concern:

My name is Felix. A friend of mine lent me a book to read, "Change Your Life Biblically". I found it to be intoxicating but there is a problem. I was unable to study its knowledgeable words as I wanted to. Soon I will be paroling. The reason I am writing is to receive one of your books. I personally have spent the majority of my 45 years of my life incarcerated and am seeking "truth" to set me free. I keep switching that switch on and off seeking it. Thank you,

Felix, CA

Dear Brother Ron,

I had waited to respond to you until after I spoke to my new assigned attorney yesterday. I had hoped he would have been able to give me some good news on my new trial but he did not seem very positive and we were also cut off. I will continue to study my Bible all I can and continue to live by God’s commandments which He has given us and obey Him. The old life is what got me where I am and now that I now have a new life, I want to keep it that way, so I will stay in the Bible. Please continue to write. I really enjoy hearing from you and being encouraged by your uplifting letters. Thank you very much. May God bless you in every area of your life and increase your ministerial outreach.

John, FL

To Whom It may Concern,

My name is Diana Berry, I am a Reverend and the director of Hidden Treasures Ministries (Prison). If at all possible please send me your book, Change Your Life Biblically. My team is going in to the Women’s Correctional Facility in Topeka, KS. I would really like to teach from your workbook. Thank you so much.

Diane, email

To Whom it may Concern,

My cellie and I heard about a book that you send out to inmates that want to change their lives. We are both tired of living a life of sin and hungry for the truth. We don’t have any money but we do have Christ and our prayers and blessings to share. We respectfully would like to request this book we have heard so much about. We don’t even have your full address. We prayed over this letter and have faith it will reach you.

James, CA

Ronald John,

Would you please send me your workbook. I am totally indigent, without any kind of help or support form the inside or outside. I have got ten years to do. I really want to change my life.

Thomas, GA

To Whom it May Concern,

My name is Robert. I am an indigent inmate. I’m very interested in the "Change Your Life Biblically" workbook, a new life and a closer walk with Christ. I have no way to pay for postage. If by chance you could help me I would very much appreciate it. I have past out your papers to other inmates who are interested.

Robert, CA

Dear John,

I received your letter tonight and I would very much like to get to know you better. I also would like to see if I can get your workbook from you for free. I don’t have any money and am without family. I lost them 30 years ago when I got arrested on this murder charge. All help I can get to allow me to better know Jesus Christ I now want in my life. For over 45 years I’ve done it my way. Now it’s God’s turn to help me make something out of my life. For the first time in my life I see things clearer and only Jesus Christ can have the credit for that. I’ll try to see if I can get some of my friends to order your Bible study workbook.

Raymond, CA

Dear Brother Ronald,

I am deeply interested in your workbook as well as changing my life for Jesus. I am also truly indigent. But I have managed to put together $11.31 in postage. I hope you can use these to continue your ministry. Please send me your workbook so I may earn my certificate.

Clete, CA

Dear Ronald,

I just finished reading your most welcome letter. This book, "Change Your Life Biblically" I’m on chapter 4 and the little I’ve read it has offered me hope. It has also effected a personal transformation in which I’ve been discovering a real power along with prestige and a lot of peace. This book is real inspirational. I know that Jesus is going to let you use it to win millions of souls to Jesus Christ. You’ve won my soul.

Freddie, CA

Hello,

I’m presently doing time in a Texas prison. I am interested in learning about God and the Bible. Can you please send me the book, "Change Your Life Biblically"? I am indigent and unable to pay for the book.

James, TX

Dear Ronald John,

Thank you for writing to me and telling me about your workbook. I will be at this address until my release date. Unfortunately I have totally no funds. On the bright side, I do have a King James study Bible. If you could please send me a copy of "Change Your Life Biblically" I would appreciate it. If not I will understand.

John, CA

To Whom It May Concern,

My utmost respects to the Jesus Christ Prison Ministry staff. I would like to say that I think you all are doing a great job spreading the "Word". I’m sending you a form for a study book. I am indigent and am not able to send any payment. Is there any way possible I can still receive the studies?

Christopher, TX

Dear Sir,

I have had the chance to look at one of your books and have found it to be something I would like to read and enjoy. An inmate has told me that you need 10 stamps to send me one book. I told him that I am indigent and do not have any idea when I would get any more money. He said "let the man know what’s going on and he may help you anyway". Well, here is my letter asking for a copy if you are able to send one.

James, TX

Brother Ronald John,

Thank you for sending me a letter to know that the book I requested is on its way. I listen carefully to what God the Lord is saying for He speaks peace to His faithful people. But let them not return to their foolish ways. Psalm 85:8 I’m a new believer in Christ Jesus and let me tell you I love it. A long time ago I used to tell friends of mine I’m not ready to walk with the Lord. And that got me now where I am. I asked the cell next to me if I can read his Bible every day. Brother of Christ, I’ve been a gang member since ‘86 and I’ve been in and out of prison since then. And all this time all I had to do was open my heart to the Lord. All I want to be is a man of Christ Jesus.

Paul, CA

Dear Ron,

I would like to send my utmost love and respect to you Ronald John and the rest of the people that are there with you. Well, here are the 10 first class stamps so I can get my free book. I really didn’t have the stamps but God is so good that some how they came to me. When I first read that I had to send the 10 stamps, I kind of felt sad because I didn’t really have it. Since I don’t have no help from the streets or in here. The only help I have is from God. He’s been helping me ever since I got arrested this time. I’ve been getting arrested since I was a teenager. I’m 29 years old. I’m a new changed man though.

Norberto, CA

Brother Ron,

A few days ago I got your newsletter. Thank you! I’m sorry for not writing to you as much as I should and letting you know how I’m doing on the study book of yours. I’ve been dealing with some personal family problems. Please pray for me and my family. Brother Ron, I’ve given your flyers to other inmates here on the yard. A lot of brothers love your book! I’ve showed it to a few people. I’m still studying it and learning a little at a time. It’s pretty difficult but I enjoy it and plan on finishing it. Thank you for the book. It has gotten me out of this world I’m in when I read it.

Perry, CA

Brother Ronald John,

Greetings and blessings to you and to your awesome ministry. May the Lord always keep you strong and tending to His flock for you give much in the way of spiritual encouragement and wisdom. Thank you for that. I’m just doing what I do, which isn’t much considering my "SHU" environment. But of course getting my daily issue of Scriptural study and prayer. They seem to have cut down our yard a lot lately so fellowship is at a minimum. But I still have my Christian correspondence. One way or another I get my issue. You know, I agree with what you said about how some people push religion rather than God. It’s like they loose sight of the real deal, not at all about identifying one’s self with a certain sect or religion. It’s about studying the Scriptures and learning what God’s will is. Neither is it about diminishing what Jesus taught for the sake of human doctrine. I’ve never experienced a Mormon’s point of view, but I agree with you about Jehovah’s Witnesses and Islam’s seclusionary and exclusionary views. Rather than to invite good sound investigation based on Bible principles, they stay inside their little box and refuse to look past it. God truly is love!

Joseph, CA

Dear Jesus Christ Prison Ministry,

My name is Jason. I am a born again Christian. I recently heard about your ministry and was told you could help me obtain some really good Christian books like "Change Your Life Biblically" to help me grow in my walk and relationship with the Lord. I would be extremely grateful for any help you could offer me.

Jason, PA

Dear Brother Ronald,

At this moment in time I’m still in the courts and don’t see myself being moved or released in the next 60 days. Also, I’m totally indigent. However I do want to work for Jesus and become a missionary and help spread God’s Word to all that no longer want to live as criminals such as myself. Brother Ronald, may God bless your mission to change people and their hearts. I pray to God that I can join you on that very same mission.

Ernest, CA

Dear Brother Ron,

I’m writing you in regards to my fellow brother in Christ, Chuck. He is a great guy and has a lot of the same beliefs you and I share. On that note he has asked me to write on his behalf. As you may recall the problem I’ve encountered with a certain "believer". It seems Chuck also fell into the same trap. Enclosed you will find stamps to cover the postage for one more Biblical book. The copy I have received from you has been passed around this unit so much and has opened up a lot of eyes.

Michael, CA

Hey Dad,

I wanted to first of all again, thank you. Also, when I arrived here one of the guys I gave a CYLB to, Herbert, asked me, "You know why the 10 commandments were given on stone?". I said, "No, I don’t. Tell me.". He then told me, "They were given on stone to show they were to last forever. And the ones given to Moses were written on parchment to show they weren’t to last." Or at least that is pretty close to what he told me. Isn’t that awesome? He’s reading the book. I told him, "Yes, but God wants the 10 commandments to be written on the heart." He said, "Oh, I guess I haven’t got that far in the book yet." I praise God that one more person I have given a CYLB book to is actually putting forth effort in reading it. Thanks again Dad.

Juan

Dear Brother Ronald,

Thank you for writing back. I received your letter. I am so grateful that you’ve decided to send me your book, "Change Your Life Biblically". I was so excited when I read your letter. I cannot wait to begin reading and doing the exercises in the book. Brother Ronald, I am truly indigent and I am glad that God put on your heart to consider me. I have not received the book as of yet, but I’m praying that it’ll come any day. I’ve passed out the applications that were with the letter to more brothers in Christ. I like your letterhead. It’s different and I enjoy it every time I receive a letter from you.

Larry, CA

To Whom It May Concern,

I am interested in having a workbook. One of the brothers handed me a pamphlet. So I figure I would give it a try in hopes it would change my life. I totally look forward to receiving a booklet from your organization.

Pontiac, IL

Hello,

A friend just recently gave me this brochure. I have found myself becoming very interested in learning everything there is to know about the Bible and God. I am very excited to hear about this study book. The position that I am in I am not able to go to church for another 3 months. So I have been cut off from all programs. I would greatly appreciate anything you have to offer.

Brandon, LA

Dear Brother Ronald,

Sorry it took so long to write back to you. I’m interested in the workbook and would like to work for Jesus in the ministry. Also, as soon as I am able I will get a job in here. I am on the waiting list for my job. But when I start back to work I will send the five dollars.

Ollie, IL

"We can do nothing without courage and perseverance. Speak words of hope and courage to the poor and the disheartened. If need be, give tangible proof of your interest by helping them when they come into strait places. Those who have had many advantages should remember that they themselves still err in many things, and that it is painful to them when their errors are pointed out and there is held up before them a comely pattern of what they should be. Remember that kindness will accomplish more than censure. As you try to teach others, let them see that you wish them to reach the highest standard, and that you are ready to give them help. If in some things they fail, be not quick to condemn them. {MH 196.3}

Hello!

My name is Karen Walker, and I am the Chaplain’s Assistant at the Arizona. Our facility houses around 1,500 individuals from all over the world who are awaiting decisions regarding their immigration status. Would it be possible to get a few copies of your workbook "Change your life Biblically" in both Spanish and English to add to our small Chapel library? Also, would it be all right to provide your address to the detainees so that they could write to you and request the workbook to be sent directly to them?

Sincerely,

Karen Walker – Chaplain’s Assistant, AZ

(Folks, we need $25,000 so we can get the books printed into Spanish. Your help is needed. Thank you folks for your love and support.

Love in Christ,

Juber & Ron
