Then the righteous will answer him, "Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and cloth you? when did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?" The King will reply, "I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine you did for me." Matthew 25:37-40
PRAISE THE LORD
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
"Meanwhile the demons, cast out from their human habitation, have entered into the swine and driven them to destruction. The keepers of the swine hurry away to publish the news, and the whole population flock to meet Jesus. The two demoniacs have been the terror of the country. Now these men are clothed and in their right mind, sitting at the feet of Jesus, listening to His words, and glorifying the name of Him who has made them whole. But those who behold this wonderful scene do not rejoice. The loss of the swine seems to them of greater moment than the deliverance of these captives of Satan. In terror they throng about Jesus, beseeching Him to depart from them, and He complies, taking ship at once for the opposite shore.
"Far different is the feeling of the restored demoniacs. They desire the companionship of their Deliverer. In His presence they feel secure from the demons that have tormented their lives and wasted their manhood. As Jesus is about to enter the boat they keep close to His side, kneel at His feet, and beg to remain near Him, where they may listen to His words. But Jesus bids them go home and tell what great things the Lord has done for them.
"Here is a work for them to do--to go to a heathen home and tell of the blessings they have received from Jesus. It is hard for them to be separated from the Saviour. Great difficulties will beset them in association with their heathen countrymen. And their long isolation from society seems to have disqualified them for this work. But as soon as He points out their duty, they are ready to obey.
"Not only did they tell their own households and neighbors about Jesus, but they went throughout Decapolis, everywhere declaring His power to save and describing how He had freed them from the demons.
"Though the people of Gergesa had not received Jesus, He did not leave them to the darkness they had chosen. When they bade Him depart from them, they had not heard His words. They were ignorant of that which they were rejecting. Therefore He sent the light to them, and by those to whom they would not refuse to listen.
"In causing the destruction of the swine, it was Satan’s purpose to turn the people away from the Saviour and prevent the preaching of the gospel in that region. But this very occurrence roused the country as nothing else could have done, and directed attention to Christ. Though the Saviour Himself departed, the men whom He had healed remained as witnesses to His power. Those who had been mediums of the prince of darkness became channels of light, messengers of the Son of God. When Jesus returned to Decapolis, the people flocked about Him, and for three days thousands from all the surrounding country heard the message of salvation.
"The two restored demoniacs were the first missionaries whom Christ sent to teach the gospel in the region of Decapolis. For a short time only, these men had listened to His words. Not one sermon from His lips had ever fallen upon their ears. They could not instruct the people as the disciples who had been daily with Christ were able to do. But they could tell what they knew; what they themselves had seen, and heard, and felt of the Saviour’s power. This is what everyone can do whose heart has been touched by the grace of God. This is the witness for which our Lord calls, and for want of which the world is perishing.
"The gospel is to be presented, not as a lifeless theory, but as a living force to change the life. God would have His servants bear testimony to the fact that through His grace men may possess Christlikeness of character and may rejoice in the assurance of His great love. He would have us bear testimony to the fact that He cannot be satisfied until all who will accept salvation are reclaimed and reinstated in their holy privileges as His sons and daughters.
"Even those whose course has been most offensive to Him He freely accepts. When they repent, He imparts to them His divine Spirit, and sends them forth into the camp of the disloyal to proclaim His mercy. Souls that have been degraded into instruments of Satan are still, through the power of Christ, transformed into messengers of righteousness and are sent forth to tell how great things the Lord hath done for them and hath had compassion on them." Hi,
I got your address from some guy in the county that had a workbook that you had sent to him. The "Change Your Life Biblically". He said that he knew you and that you had put the workbook together. He shared it with me and I really enjoyed it. So I was wondering if by any chance you could send a copy of the workbook that you sent him.
Rigoberto, CA
Dear Ron,
I am writing you this letter to ask you if I could receive your book called, "Change Your Life Biblically". A Christian brother here shared his book with me and I was very interested to learn more about the study. I am a Christian and have been one for a good seven years. I do know there is so much for me to learn. I would also like to ask you if you have this study in Spanish. If not, you still could send me it in English. It still would help me out.
Salvador, CA
(Folks, we are still waiting for hearts to be touched who are willing to
sacrifice so we can get the Spanish books printed. 5 people sending $5,000
would be awesome. 10 people sending $2,500 would be awesome. Thank you
folks. God bless you as you continue to sacrifice for this little ministry
that Jesus personally raised up to teach His Gospel.)
JCPM,
I’m writing today to request a free copy of my own, "Change Your Life Biblically". I am currently doing a life sentence and I would like to know if I can get a Bible study? I am new to this all. Faith is new to me, believing what I cannot see. I was told about the "Change Your Life Biblically" and how it will help me understand. I am very much interested.
Jesse, CA
Dear Ronald John,
I was given this pamphlet from a friend. We are both in Ad Seg together. He told me what you are doing and I think it is great and want to thank you and everyone else out there that is helping you with Jesus’ cause. You and everyone else are truly missionaries and are good role models for people like me. I would love to be a servant of Jesus and God. That is why I need this book. So please send it to me so I may start my studies and serve the Lord and break free from my sadness.
Steven, TX
Dear JCPM,
Thank you for your newsletter. I finally got the move I’ve wanted. This is one of Colorado’s toughest and roughest prisons. But I take it as an opportunity to advance God’s Word. There are 975 inmates here. If I can get your book into the hands of 50 I’ll be content with my mission. I am blanketing the day rooms with your pamphlets. I hope you have already received some. Let me know.
James, CO
Hi,
I would love to have your book, "Change Your Life Biblically". I am indigent and would like to do the work. Can you please send me the book. My celly has one and he read it to me but he will be moving. I thank you very much.
Tracy, CA
Dearest Ronald John,
Thanks a lot for writing again. If it wasn’t for you, I would never get mail. I enjoy reading your letters and reflecting on what is said. It is so BORING IN HERE! I just almost got in a fight. What started as a heavy disagreement leading almost to violence turned into a chance for me to talk to this guy in private and impart a little wisdom. It’s really hard to live around people who believe ass backwards stuff. There is another guy in our office who sincerely believes in evolution and that we crawled out of the ooze several million years ago. It’s like talking to a brick wall. So this is my life. I’m glad you are there and listen to my rantings.
John, CA
Dear Brother Ronald,
I received your letter a few days thereafter I received the five book series. Thank you for this wonderful blessing you have imparted me. In regards to the story of Juber, Yes, I read his story. I also believe I was the one who gave Juber your flyer when I was in FCI with him. Actually, is like you read my mind because as soon as I read the newsletter I thought of doing the same thing for the Lord in my country. I had plans of living a nice comfortable life in the US, but the Lord had other plans for me. You see, I know I can’t keep avoiding His call because every time I try doing my own thing, I keep ending up inside this big house, like Jonah. You know, I used to wonder what was God’s purpose of bringing me to this country to learn this foreign language, just to send me back. But now I’ve received my answer. Thank you so much for the invitation and the confidence you have placed in me to serve the Lord beside you in this JCPM. It is an honor. I’ll start by telling you that I have never done this kind of work before. But my confidence is not on what I can do but on the Lord and in His Word. If He will convict their hearts, I’ll do the leg work and the witnessing. Just remember that I need your help and advice. Always remind me of the things I must do. I want to learn from the best and you certainly are one of them. I would like to serve in Baja California. There are two state prisons there. Also, I would like to stay close to the border so my children may come visit me. May God continue to bless you.
Gilbert, SC
Jesus Christ Prison Ministry,
Another inmate told me about your program. I am a Christian but have no material to study. I am an indigent inmate having no money. I was hoping maybe you could send me a Bible study.
Chris, CA
Dear Dad (from son Juan)
My supervisor was saying, "I want to change my life and learn about God". Or something in that sense. So we got to talking and he allowed me to type in the ministry’s web site on the computer. He had questions about the Bible "being written by man" etc. So I took him to the topic "The Bible" on volume 3. I did explain to him it’s all about reading and learning. Oh yeah, he said he was reading an "article" about the Sabbath that he googled. I guess he had questions. That’s where I referred him to the web site and topic "Sabbath" and the others. Later on I was going to go talk with him but I didn’t want to disturb him as I saw he was reading the topic, "Self-Control". He now has the link for all the topics for Volumes 1-3 and he can read the topics that interest him. Praise God! Thanks Dad so much for writing "CYLB". I was rereading the topics my supervisor read for myself right now. Awesome book.
Love you Dad,
Son (one of our translators who calls me dad)
Dear Brother Ron,
I’m happy you liked my letter. I’m tired of griping and complaining. It gets nothing accomplished. Don’t get discouraged my brother. I love you. God will help us tell others about Him regardless if we have money or not. I’m sure the debt thing is overwhelming, but we must trust. So let’s just trust and obey. Jesus has it all worked out. I hope the Lord sends someone to help you too. I wish that someone could be me. But for now I must help Jesus and you here. I did make a little note to my mom about just believing in Jesus and why we seem to want to give our "hearts" to "churches" and not Christ alone. During one of the AA meetings this week, I started to share some scriptures about alcohol and how drunkards will not enter the kingdom. I was pretty much told by another inmate to cut down on what I was sharing. AA doesn’t like it when you bring to much Jesus in. I will continue to go through to meet new men who may respond to Christ; or until they make me leave. I really thank you for your time, love, letters and help in keeping me on the Lord. He is really getting closer to returning. I mean, it wasn’t but a few days in the county jail a couple years ago and the Lord led me to your book. I didn’t go to any "church" I just went to Christ. I’m glad He had His little ministry there to help me. I truly thank Jesus and you. What another awesome Sabbath. I had another good study with my mom on the phone. She is learning so much. She is now reading the "Change Your Life Biblically" book. I’m very happy. She is still having trouble trying to get the rest of the family together to really look into the truth of the Sabbath. So the Holy Spirit is gathering sheep. Then Jason and I had a good study as well. Learning how we can give more of ourselves. He is going to wait to get a book from you because he thinks he may be moved soon. I found out that he was moved here because his paperwork was messed up and they moved him from a level 2 to a level 3 facility. So God put him in the right spot. He said he knows for a fact because he gained more truth and confidence about the Sabbath and other things, plus he met me. Isn’t our God awesome. Great things are happening brother. People are becoming aware.
Preston, IN
To Whom It May Concern,
I got to read "Change Your Life Biblically". Unfortunately I was not able to finish it cause I was transferred to another jail. The book belonged to the chapel library. I learned so much with the little I’ve read. It taught me things I never knew about the Bible. I am writing to ask if I could please receive a copy of the book. It will teach me many things that I could share with other inmates. Thank you and God bless you.
Pedro, PA
To Whom It May Concern,
I’m inquiring of your program and was wondering if you could possibly send me information. I’m a struggling addict who needs recovery in my life. I believe your program will be of much benefit to my life.
Wade, CA
Hello,
I’ve come across some brothers here and I’ve seen your study guide called, "Change Your Life Biblically". I am very interested if it’s possible to receive one of your study guides. I’m not sure if I may qualify being that I have no money to send you, but I would like very much to be added to your mailing list if possible.
Jose, CA
Dear Brother Ron,
People keep looking at my decision to let go of the gangs as a bad thing. Like I’m in the wrong for doing it. There calling what’s good evil. That’s the way it is. There is teachings out there that rejects the whole idea of truth. They say that it’s subjective. That’s a lie. As you know that’s just another way the devil deceives people. I’m really starting to see that our actions are more important then words. Our lives are to be a witness not just our mouths. How we conduct ourselves should always be to reflect the love of Christ. I’m going to start calling you dad too.
Anthony, NV
My Dearest Brother in Christ,
I’m doing good. I’m reading my Bible and reading your book. I’m trying to get more people to see what I have seen in your study book. But it’s hard. People love bad things in life because it’s easy. But when the storm hits, that’s when they call out to the Lord like in the boat with Jesus and His disciples and they’d called out to save them. I’ll keep on trying for the Lord.
Hillman, CA
Jesus Christ Prison Ministry,
I want to send my thanks and appreciation to you for putting together such an excellent Bible study. I came across a copy of your "Change Your Life Biblically" just recently while serving a term. Honestly, it has opened my eyes to some key concepts of the Bible. Being a Christian I am now trying to bring my full attention to the Word and your Bible study has made it more interesting.
Tyiene, CA
Dear JCPM,
I am requesting, "Change Your Life Biblically". I am serious about my new walk with Jesus and I had the chance to read a few pages of the book from another inmate a few months ago. Thank you very much for your assistance.
Ballon, CA
Dearest Ronald John,
Always nice to hear from you. I will continue to read your book. I can tell you right now, it saved my eternal soul. I was a firm believer in the "once saved always saved" testimony that pretty much said, "I was saved by His grace and no matter what I did, as long as I kept asking for forgiveness I would still get into heaven." As if it was a magic bullet that allowed me to sin all I wanted and say the magic words and "WHAMMO" back into His good graces I go. Your book made me see ow I must work for my salvation. Work to let go of my old self, my ugly sinful ways and become a new creation of God, for only holiness will be allowed to come before Him. Your book also made me see that I don’t really have to blindly believe in scripture. There are actual facts that back up all the scriptures and all one has to do is look at fulfilled prophecy to see irrefutable evidence of divine wisdom behind all the books and everything within them. Your book broke it down into layman’s terms so that even ones without a lot of education can understand it. I used to read the Bible and just be dumbfounded and confused. Now, thanks to your book, I can actually understand much, if not all, of what I read. It may seem like a small thing to some, but to me it is a miracle. I profound understanding of God’s Word is the goal I seek. Your book is like a "how to Read the Bible for Dummies". I pray that people who are in a position to help your ministry take the time to read this book and see just how helpful it is to us new Christians to receive this book, more often than not without any charge to us. And understand that people are having their eyes opened to the false teachings that often times would cost their everlasting souls if they did not learn the truth. So many people are deceived right now. Thy need this book. I consider you a wonderful friend. You led me to the Well and I shall drink a little every day, knowing that this knowledge is changing me and giving me the tools I need to be like Him. Your letters are truly appreciated since no one writes me. I think you know how much it means to me for the officer to stop by my door, say my name and drop your letter through. Thanks for being my friend,
Johnny, CA
Dear JCPM,
A mentor of mine gave me your newsletter where you offer the opportunity to place items on the web site for inmates to earn a little money. I currently draw portraits, do cards and paint. I make boxes out of pop sickle sticks. I would like to complete your course, "Change Your Life Biblically".
Michael, TN
To Whom This May Concern,
I started reading your book, "Change Your Life Biblically" and it has done just that. I recently turned 29 years old and with your book I’ve been able to reach the young and old alike. People’s lives have been changed by the information your book has to offer. My life will never be the same. Unfortunately, your book belonged to someone else and now I feel like I’ve hit the ceiling on my spiritual growth. I’m in dire need for a copy of "Change Your Life Biblically". Can you please send me a copy and any tracts that I can pass out? With your help I know I can further my knowledge and be able to teach more people. You hit the nail on the head when you brought to light some church teachings and the actions of pastors, preachers, etc. Please help a fellow Christian to spread the Word of the teachings of Jesus Christ.
Curtis, VA
Dear Brother Ron,
Thank you for sending me a new set of answer sheets. This time I’ll take more time in reading and re-reading the book. I’ve already passed out the fliers you have sent. Please send me more because we have a lot of orientation coming through. I’m so blessed to have the job I have. It gives me the chance to share the true gospel, Christ’s teachings: Be Perfect, Stop Sinning, Obey the 10 Commandments. When I am out on the yard, I pray and talk with our Lord and Savior as I walk. I also spend some time sharing the Word of God as well. There is so much work here to be done. The few guys I told you about here, they already have your book, "Change Your Life Biblically". So far there are only 4 of us, maybe 5 on this whole yard who are 10 Commandment keeping Christians. Like I said, there is a lot of work to be done. I pray that the fliers of yours will open up the doors for the Holy Spirit to move into each of the men. Starting next week, 2 of the 4 I spoke about are in my building. We are going to go through your book and answer sheets together as a group. We have put together a little study group open to other inmates who are worshipping on the first day of the week. On the yard I am on there are so many inmates who say that Jesus came to do away with the 10 Commandments. I was once one of those inmates. Well, anyway, praise God that my eyes are now open to the real true gospel. Thank you brother Ron for helping me to see things better in the light of the Holy Spirit.
Richard, CA
Dear Brother Ronald John,
I am very interested in your program and any and all information you can send about getting enrolled and started. Your letterhead has inspired me to gather a few brothers together in hopes to attain a book we can all share. We are all indigent. We would be greatly blessed if you could start us off in your blessed book so that we may learn and grow more in our maturity in Christ’s love and life.
Wade, CA
To Whom This May Concern,
I want to request a workbook and change my life. If you can send me this, it would be a great blessing to me. Thank you for your time.
Michael, CA
JCPM,
Finally, a chance to write back. I have been so busy reading and studying your famous book. I loved it. I think everyone should own one. Thank you for the time you have put into this to help us understand more about God and the Bible. Once again, thanks. I can’t believe how many people in here that are getting or even thinking about getting your book. It is a blessing. In the mean time, I am going to read it again. I don’t want to forget nothing.
Brandon, LA
Dear Sir,
My son is an inmate. He asked me to order a copy of "Change Your Life Biblically". Please send it to him. I have enclosed $10 to cover your costs of printing and shipping. May the Lord continue to bless you and your ministry.
Lynette, ID (non-inmate)
Dear Brothers,
I have enclosed 10 forever stamps so that I may receive my workbook to begin studying. I will admit I am already a faithful believer of Jesus Christ, but I continue to grow in Christ everyday. After reading a fellow brother’s workbook, I felt compelled to order my own. Please continue the effort for there are many others who are in search of truths as our Father God would have us to understand.
Peter, FL
Brother Ronald John,
Good morning and God bless you and your ministry each and every day. I received your most welcomed letter this past Friday and was glad to hear from you as always. Your letter found me doing well and in good spirits, thanks to my Lord Jesus Christ. I finally got my interview process started. My neighbor got your letter regarding his receiving the book CYLB and is looking forward to getting into it and learning the spiritual knowledge it contains. He has done several studies but I told him he would really enjoy this one as it speaks on some very important and highly questioned issues. The weather here has been very wet and cold. Lots of rain this past week so I haven’t been out to yard for a while except for yesterday. It was nice out so I got some fresh air. But the cold is back and the fog is here so yard will have to wait till it gets nice again. I’m too old to deal with all that cold. Sending my prayers and best to you and yours.

"It is wrong to waste our time, wrong to waste our thoughts. We lose every
moment that we devote to self-seeking. If every moment were valued and
rightly employed, we should have time for everything that we need to do for
ourselves or for the world. In the expenditure of money, in the use of time,
strength, opportunities, let every Christian look to God for guidance. ‘If
any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men
liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.’ James 1:5." {MH

Folks, in this newsletter I am sending you a DVD: "The Coming of the
Messiah". I pray that you will watch it with prayer and a heart ready to be
obedient to Jesus and Jesus only. He alone is our Savior. Nothing and no one
else will get you into Heaven. Let us humble our hearts and be obedient to
the teachings of Jesus and Jesus only.
Love in Christ,
