Then the righteous will answer him, "Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and cloth you? when did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?" The King will reply, "I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine you did for me." Matthew 25:37-40
PRAISE THE LORD
Dear Brothers and Sister,
"Let it be made plain that the way of God’s commandments is the way of life.
God has established the laws of nature, but His laws are not arbitrary
exactions. Every ‘Thou shalt not,’ whether in physical or in moral law,
implies a promise. If we obey it, blessing will attend our steps. God never
forces us to do right, but He seeks to save us from the evil and lead us to
the good.
"Let attention be called to the laws that were taught to Israel. God gave them definite instruction in regard to their habits of life. He made known to them the laws relating to both physical and spiritual well-being; and on condition of obedience He assured them, ‘The Lord will take away from thee all sickness.’ Deuteronomy 7:15. ‘Set your hearts unto all the words which I testify among you this day.’ ‘For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.’ Deuteronomy 32:46; Proverbs 4:22.
"God desires us to reach the standard of perfection made possible for us by the gift of Christ. He calls upon us to make our choice on the right side, to connect with heavenly agencies, to adopt principles that will restore in us the divine image. In His written word and in the great book of nature He has revealed the principles of life. It is our work to obtain a knowledge of these principles, and by obedience to co-operate with Him in restoring health to the body as well as to the soul." {MH 114}
Dear Brother Ronald,
As you can see I’ve asked two other brothers on my floor to get the workbook. Enclosed you’ll find their stamps. We all are excited to get the workbook and make it a part of our daily fellowship service.

Dear JCPM,
I’m requesting any help or workbooks/bible studies you might be able to send my way. I am sincerely trying to change my life, even my pattern of thinking and my perceptions of things. I know I have to get right with God and that begins with accepting Jesus Christ into my heart as Lord and Savior. It seems like something always holds me back: some doubt or evil parasite in my mind that doesn’t allow me to fully believe or have faith. I have no faith in my fellow man. All I want is to have faith in Jesus and live my life for Him. Nothing else matters.
Gary, CA
Dad, (again, remember folks, more and more inmates are calling me dad.) :-)
Hey I’ve got good news. I was transferred. I’m in protective segregation. I’m out almost all day. It’s cool here. I believe God used that time in my lockup cell to train me. When you are in a cell 24/7 you learn about yourself. When you no longer got the negative influences, they no longer effect your thinking. That’s why I’m thankful I got sent there. I hated that place, but if I wouldn’t have been sent there, I’d still be doing all that stupid stuff. I’m going to be going to school soon. I need to stop playing and get my GED. I’ve got a good celly. You are right about love. So many claim to be Christian but their actions contradict what they are saying. We are to love and do good but they hide behind Christianity and use it to steal. It is sad. But that’s the way it is.

Hi Brother John,
As you already know, I am from Africa so I don’t have that much friends to write me. Only you and other friends of mine write me. So I’m always really happy to get a letter from you. Dear John, the book, "Change Your Life Biblically" is very deep and good. I was reading and I’ve learned a lot from it. And I’m going to read it again. I believe Saturday is a Sabbath, but how do we keep the Sabbath holy? Dear brother John, I’m going to have somebody send you some stamps. I’m going to tell my friend to send them to you. I hope you receive them soon.
Benjamin, TX
JCPM,
I was talking to a friend in the chapel looking through his book, "Change Your Life Biblically" and saw an address for a free book of it. So could you please send me a copy of it? Could you please send my wife a copy of this book also?
Stan, ID
Dear Brother Ron,
Honestly, I really do appreciate what you write to me. I always try to take it to heart and learn from it. I thank you for explaining things to me as well as making me have one of those "duh" moments. Again, you would think I’ve never read CYLB or taken the test to get a certificate. Instead of doing this walk God’s way, I keep trying to do it my way and it doesn’t work out well. When you go where you don’t belong, Satan’s lies still get in your head and infect your mind. Thank God for His patience and His little helpers like you brother. I have been having good conversations with my mom as well. She said she is starting to read more, plus she is reading more CYLB. She realizes she needs to get more active in her salvation. I told her to listen to and follow Jesus. Hopefully we will learn and grow together. I was outside my cell and someone called my name. I went over and was introduced to another man I’ve never met. That’s when I remembered I didn’t have a Bible or any JCPM flyers on me. So I ran back to my cell and got my missionary supplies. I went back down and asked the one guy if he wanted to get a book. He said no. I noticed his neighbor watching me so I moved to his cell and he said he wanted to get a book. Then we spent the rest of the morning in Bible study. After speaking to him I told him I really needed that and really appreciated it. I hope to get back down to him again someday. If I just stay prepared and let God do the work, things go fine. I pray things are going well in El Salvador and I really enjoyed the newsletter for February. Jason received his book. I hope and pray we can continue to get more in-depth in our studies and change our hearts fully for Jesus so He can use us to do good work in this prison for Him.

Brother Ronald John,
I received your most welcomed letter this past evening. I finished up my interview process. It took about three hours. I guess you could say I was quite a busy little gang member in my youth. Soon I will be entering phase two: integrated yard program. No more walk-alone yard cages. I hear that we are allowed to take our Bibles out so hopefully we can get some meaningful fellowship done out there. I just keep praying and studying and let things work out in the Lord’s good time. Patience has always been something that I lacked enough of. But through prayer and diligence I have actually become more patient than ever before. I did a study on serving God on His terms that was very good. Not many Christians do that. They add little self-serving twists and turns to God’s truth. Many are righteously sincere but don’t take the time to seek out the Bible’s truths about God’s will and His purpose for us. Jesus even foretold of this time of apostasy that would prevail before He comes back. I can’t wait to share stuff like that. I mean I already do on paper, through the mail, but I’m talking about true, live fellowship. I’ve been in the hole so long that it’s going to take some getting used to but I look forward to it.

Dear Brother Ron,
I pray that the power of the Holy Spirit is working in you through you and through Jesus Christ Prison Ministry. There is a very strong spiritual presence here, but not of the real Jesus. There is a lot of violence here. A very strong presence of darkness in the Tacoma-Seattle area coming against the truth of Scripture and the person of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I’ve been in this area before and until you have experienced it you can’t really explain it. But I felt the resistance from day one and it’s been a real battle at times. But God is faithful and He provides the power through the Holy Spirit to sometimes literally carry us through these times and seasons. I learned a great lesson here of the importance of prayer and sometimes how the only answer is to literally "cling" to the feet of our Lord Jesus. Just more understanding of how completely dependent we are on Him and His power, His wisdom, His strength and His understanding. Oh, brother Ron, there are so many lost people in this world. So many blind, so many hopeless and so many broken that believe they are OK. They believe their way is "right": the Muslim, the Native American, the Buddhist, the pagan and the Wiccan. It’s sad because it’s all nothingness and when you try to talk to them, they throw it in your face or laugh and justify their life. I know that blindness. That veil is only removed in Christ. I was there before and only by the grace of God was I saved. I was surely not looking for God until the brokenness came through this whole experience. So much pride in the prison system. So many hardened hearts. So much lack of remorse for what people have done. So strong a spirit of pride, arrogance and vanity. But then there are the ones that God empowers us to go to and you feel His presence and His power and His peace in the process and it’s awesome. My last celly gave his heart to the Lord. Enclosed is $10 to help someone know Jesus Christ.
Steve, WA
Dear Brother Ron,
I apologize for not getting back sooner. I was caught up in courses; college correspondence. But now that is over. It was taking up all my postage and time. But now I have some time to myself while I await grading. I have turned some brothers on to the book, ‘Change Your Life Biblically" and they like it. We’ll be doing the study together.
Chris, CA
Dear Mr. John,
First & foremost, I would like to thank you for your wonderful book. I just received it and already I’m speechless. This is my first time ever trying to learn about our Lord. I’ve been a sinner my whole life. I hope that this book could help me better my life. I’m 30 years old and I have seen a lot and done a lot. I must admit, I’m still skeptical but I’m telling you the truth that I am going to read and study this book with open heart and mind. Well, once again, thank you for your help in my new journey. I appreciate your help.
Adam, CA
Ronald John,
Thank you so much for responding so quickly. I am enclosing 10 stamps to receive "Change Your Life Biblically". I am looking forward to reading and studying the answers to life and change. I have been in and out of the system for 18 years and have finally surrendered my life to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is stories like yours that give us hope. May God continue to bless you and open doors for you and your ministry.
Shawn, CA
To Whom this May Concern,
I am an inmate. I saw this flyer to "Change Your Life Biblically" workbook. I am interested in receiving your workbook but I am unable to spend any money. I am trying to get closer to the Lord so I was wondering if you can help me out so I can build a better relationship with the Lord. So can you please send me a workbook. I would really appreciate it. Thank you very much.
Patrucino, CA
Dear Ministry,
I’m a brother in Christ. I have had the opportunity of coming across your book, "Change Your Life Biblically". I found it a great asset of knowledge. I only had a chance to look at it for a couple of days and couldn’t put it down. But I had to give it back to the owner. He told me to mention his name. If possible, can you send me studies and the book. I would love to strengthen my faith.
Michael, CA
Dear Ronald John,
I am interested, but I do not have any funds on my account or stamped envelopes to receive the "Change Your Life Biblically" book. I’m looking for any opportunities to change my way of thinking and strengthen my faith in Jesus Christ. Not only in this period of failure, but throughout the rest of my life. Now is as good as time as any to begin and not fall off. I received a copy of your flyers through one of my former cellies and believed it a good start.
Jaime, CA
Dear Brother Ronald John,
My name is Dennis and I’m being a witness for Jesus Christ in our cell and have a few interested. Out of ten guys I have 6 people who are interested very much and a couple others want to see our study before they commit to the Bible study. Chad does not get no money on the outside at all and doesn’t make commissary. Rob is facing a lot of time and they take his money for meds mostly. But he wants the Bible study. I will ask my mom to send funds but can’t make any promises. I really would like your study to do now if possible and will be here more than 60 days. Johnny will be going to prison this month but will write you when he gets to prison to do your study. Bradon got moved out but I’m sure he will be going to prison and will let you know. The ones that filled the forms out and me want the study now please so thank you for your support for us in jails and prisons.
Dennis, IN
Dear Jesus Christ Ministry,
My name is Kris. I used to be an inmate and would love to have your material. I am currently on house arrest but have the opportunity to minister to others in my situation. You are truly doing the work of the Lord and I would love to benefit from what you have to offer. I still keep in contact with inmates that I was incarcerated with and one of them mailed me your flier and he said it has changed his life as he has moved into a deeper relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I look forward to reading and working through the material so that I may delve into a deeper relationship as well. Thank you so much for what you are doing to change the lives of those in need.

Brother Ronald John,
I received your letter last evening which as always of course found me doing well and practicing patience and praying and working toward Christian enlightenment. My cellie puts his TV on as soon as he wakes up and stays glued to it most of the day. I have to do other things: study, write, read and meditate. I can’t just be stuck on TV. That’s not very conducive to a positive program. I can’t wait to go to a group study and start doing my ministry. This time in here is just sharpening my ministry skills for when I get out there. So stack up those books because I have lots of your brochures to pass around. I will be doing that. Thanks for the picture of the squirrel. That was cool. I got the monthly newsletter as well. Thank you for your ministry work. You are truly a mighty man of God. May He continue to bless you and your ministry always and help you to continue to grow both in Jesus and in numbers.
Joseph, CA
Dear Brother Ron,
I am enjoying reading your book through. I am sharing it with as many people as I talk to about Jesus. I just shared it with a gentleman by the name of Cedric. It opened his eyes to some common misconceptions. I will continue to do the work set before me the best that I can. I may not be a preacher or an evangelist but I’m learning that I’m a pretty good teacher. I’m helping to tutor a GED student and I’m helping a college student with his business proposal assignment. I am also helping different guys with their Bible studies. Thank you again for such an amazing resource. I hope my wife will try to contact you to buy one for her and the kids.
Jason, IN
Dear Ron,
May God’s love, peace and joy be yours in abundance. Reading and studying your book has been both a blessing and a life changing experience. I don’t have an offering to make to you at this time as my mother’s will is currently in probate. As soon as I receive my inheritance you can be sure you’ll receive a sizable donation as I believe you can’t put a price tag on the wonderful work you are doing for the Lord.
Todd, CA
Hello,
I’m wondering if you will send me the "Change Your Life Biblically" that you offer and any other literature and maybe your newsletter to help me with my walk with God? Not too long ago I had given myself up to our Lord God and anything that you could send to me would be very helpful.
Bryan, CA
To Whom It May Concern,
I am an inmate. A brother in Christ shared a book called, "Change Your Life Biblically" with me. So I decided to write your ministry in hopes of you sending me a copy. I would appreciate it if you could and some information about your ministry.
Anthony, CA
Ronald,
Thank you for your swift response on how I may receive my book. Enclosed are the stamps you requested. I wish I could give more but am not able at this point in time. I’m very excited about the workbook and I can’t wait to get started. I don’t know how long it takes to receive but did want you to be aware that I’ll be leaving this facility soon. It is sincerest thought and hope that I’ll get it before then.
Vanessa, NV
Dear JCPM,
I began this Bible study going through it pretty quick. When I was at the end of the questions I found myself going back to re-read the whole book because it is challenging and you think you might know the correct answers but at times I found that I was misinformed or I misunderstood. The Bible study has really helped me open my eyes to a lot of things I need to know to walk in this Christian walk/life. And it has also put me at peace with myself knowing where I’ll be when our Lord comes for His people. Thank you for this book. It has really helped me a bunch.
Juan, TX
Dear Brother Ronald John,
I was writing to say thank you for sending me your book. I’m sorry but I am totally broke. I have no outside family for help so I am unable to send any money or stamps. But if I can, I will send what I’m able. I will use and learn from the book. Thank you so much. I pass out your forms to other inmates.
Wilson, CA
Dear Ronald,
Please enroll me in your "Change Your Life Biblically" program. I am a Christian and I do want to work for Jesus. I would also love to work for a Bible as well as getting on your pen-pal list. I still have 10 years left and I am totally indigent as you can see by the envelope I’m sending this in. I am a 46 year old 5th termer serving a 25 year sentence. I do love the Lord. I have no stamps but I will walk these applications around until someone takes them from me. I will try to find others to write to you in hopes for future disciples. Please send me this workbook and I look forward to working with you on spreading God’s truth.
James, CA
Well hello,
I’m from Louisiana and I’m 26 years old. I’ve been locked up 18 months and I have a bit over a year left. My reason for writing is because I’m really trying to change my life. My reason for doing time is for selling drugs. But now I put the past behind me and I’m working on my future. I’m going to school in getting a new trade. But I would love to complete your workbook and learn some new things about God. So if you could send me something to work on, I would truly thank you.

"The widow and the fatherless are the objects of the Lord’s special care.
‘A Father of the fatherless, and a Judge of the widows,
Is God in His holy habitation.’
‘Thy Maker is thy husband;
Jehovah of hosts is His name:
And the Holy One of Israel is thy Redeemer;
The God of the whole earth shall He be called.’
‘Leave thy fatherless children, I will preserve them alive;
And let thy widows trust in Me.’
Many a father, when called upon to part from his loved ones, has died resting in faith upon God’s promise to care for them. The Lord provides for the widow and the fatherless, not by a miracle in sending manna from heaven, not by sending ravens to bring them food; but by a miracle upon human hearts, expelling selfishness, and unsealing the fountains of Christlike love. The afflicted and bereaved ones He commits to His followers as a precious trust. They have the very strongest claim upon our sympathy.
"In homes supplied with life’s comforts, in bins and granaries filled with the yield of abundant harvests, in warehouses stocked with the products of the loom, and vaults stored with gold and silver, God has supplied means for the sustenance of these needy ones. He calls upon us to be channels of His bounty.
‘God calls upon us to supply to these children, so far as we can, the want of a father’s care. Instead of standing aloof, complaining of their faults, and of the trouble they may cause, help them in every way possible. Seek to aid the careworn mother. Lighten her burdens.
"Then there are the multitudes of children who have been wholly deprived of the guidance of parents and the subduing influence of a Christian home. Let Christians open their hearts and homes to these helpless ones. The work that God has committed to them as an individual duty should not be turned over to some benevolent institution or left to the chances of the world’s charity. If the children have no relatives able to give them care, let the members of the church provide homes for them. He who made us ordained that we should be associated in families, and the child nature will develop best in the loving atmosphere of a Christian home.
"Many who have no children of their own could do a good work in caring for the children of others. Instead of giving attention to pets, lavishing affection upon dumb animals, let them give their attention to little children, whose characters they may fashion after the divine similitude. Place your love upon the homeless members of the human family. See how many of these children you can bring up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Many would thus be greatly benefited themselves." {MH 202-203}
How many out there are living in big empty homes. God is waiting to bless
you if you would take in those who are fatherless and homeless. God blesses
those who bless others. Or, you can dedicate your total tithes and offerings
to this little ministry so we can bless those who are under the special care
and blessings of God. Then you too will be blessed.
I want to thank those of you who have
made that commitment. I have received many wonderful reports of how God is
blessing you who have made this little ministry your special missionary
project. Your total tithes and offerings are being used, not for incomes or
salaries. Not for personal selfishness or big homes a expensive vehicles.
They are being used right now for the good and blessings of God’s special
"children" who are abandoned to prisons and other institutions. May God
bless you as you continue to bless this little ministry.
When I was about 28 years old, I took up flying. After receiving my flying license and logging about 100 hours, the following pictures show what happened. The devil has always tried to destroy me. But God had His angels around me at all times. Like Moses, Joseph, Jeremiah and Paul, the Lord had a work for me to do.
The FAA said that the plane should have burned up. I broke my back in three places. L-3,4,5 were crushed, cracked and broken. I am lucky to be alive and walking. I spent a year in an upper body cast. It took ten years of hard, painful workouts to get me where I am today. As long as I workout, the pain isn’t so bad. But the older one gets the harder and more painful it becomes. One lovely donor provided a pool for my summer aqua therapy. Another lovely lady is providing funding for a Jacuzzi tub for my winter aqua therapy. Now we just need the funds to remodel our little 5’x7’ bathroom. It is so small it doesn’t’ even have a door on it. In fact, the trailer is so small there are no inside doors. We have to step out into the living room to dry off after showering.
Thank you folks for all you have done. God really touched hearts in July. A few more months like that and we will be out of debt.
May God continue to bless you as you bless this little ministry.
Love in Christ,
Ron
The Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does He withhold from those whose walk is blameless. Psalm 84:11
