"Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Does he not leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it?... there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent." Prison Mission Report!

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Hello Bro. Ronald John,

I am responding to your letter I received some time back. I have not been able to answer it because of going back and forth to a free world hospital which is about 200 plus miles from the unit that I’m housed in. I have been treated for a head and nerve condition I suffered from two gang attacks on my life last May. Bro. Ronald, I am indigent without any means at all. But I really would like the workbook, "Change Your Life Biblically". I don’t have any outside support. When someone wants to buy some food off of my tray at breakfast, lunch or dinner, I will give it to them for a stamp. However the way this unit feeds around here, that’s not very often. But I don’t complain because it’s a blessing just to have anything.

Daryl, TX

Dear Ronald,

I’m a native of Michigan and have no family here in California to help me in any way. As for my family members in Michigan, they pretty much disowned me for the things I’ve done to them and others in the past. I’ve written you before and you sent me a letter along with four pamphlets. You asked me to be completely honest with you and I am when I say I’m 100% indigent. No help from no one.

Robert, CA

Dear Jesus Christ Prison Ministry,

I would like to have one sent to my wife, if you can. She is a Christian and she will enjoy this book.

Jimmy, CA

Dear Jesus Christ Prison Ministry,

I am writing you about your workbook. I was told about it from a wonderful friend. I was also told that a lot of people really are learning a lot about God’s salvation. That to me sounds awesome. I too would like to take part in all the fun. Will you please send me a workbook so that I may learn about the Lord as well?

Anthony, CA

What’s up Brother Ron?

My friend asked me to read "Change Your Life Biblically". I started to read it. I learned so much about the Bible I would like to ask you brother Ron, if you have "Change Your Life Biblically" in Spanish? If you have, then please send me a copy please. I would like to sit down with my Spanish brother and study. If not, please send me the English version. Brother Ron, this book "Change Your Life Biblically" change my life completely, give me new tool.

Gerardo, FL

(Folks, We are receiving so many requests for Spanish. All we need is $30,000 to get the book printed so we can send it to Spanish speaking inmates. God bless each and every one of you who digs deep to help us do the work God has called us to.)

Ronald,

It is nice to communicate with someone who can relate to the prison life. You are absolutely right: lonely and boring. I couldn’t imagine it without the Lord. He keeps me sane. I don’t think people understand. I see so many preachers on TV that are so phony. It motivates me to write the truth. When I first got locked up I knew very little about God. I can see that really was kind of a blessing. I’ve come across so many people who have learned one way, that’s what they were taught., so they can’t accept the truth. I look back on when I was first learning God’s Word. I can’t help but feel it was all designed. Temporarily I learned the ways of mainstream teachings. Even my sister sent me the first few editions of the book series, "Left Behind". Well after reading the first two volumes that was all I could take. It seemed very phony to me. I say it was kind of designed that I learned a lot of mainstream teaching because of the fact it got me into God’s Word. I wasn’t strong enough to learn God’s truth at that time. As you know, we have to be strong to go against popular teachings. It ended up getting me to ask a lot of questions: why was so much being taught that was contrary to God’s Word. The first 13 months I was locked up in jail I learned a lot of popular beliefs. Then when I came here to prison I came across some literature that started leading me to truths of God’s Word. Then I came across your ministry and I knew I was on the right track. I slowly strengthened my faith by the grace of God. I’ve had so many instances where people have tried to trip me up. Then I was certain I was on the right track. What I’m getting to, is that now I see so many people teaching these hokey, totally fiction, ideas of their own. It’s upsetting, especially knowing the truth and knowing that these people are leading others astray. I think about how long these people have supposedly been studying the Bible: 20, 30, 40 even 50 years. And a lot of truths that are very plain are overlooked. It’s just upsetting that a lot of people don’t have the time, or I should say, make the time to study on their own. They depend on these people. I don’t know if these ministers really understand how upsetting this is to God. It’s like, how can you go and teach some of these things, or write about these things, like that left behind series, and keep a straight face? I’ve seen more and more people who actually believe this garbage. It’s just nice to know there are others out there like yourself who know the truth. God makes everything so simple. Then we have got man who makes things so complicated. To be honest, I can kinda see why so many people are turned off by Christianity. I can understand why I was for so many years. People make it seem to hokey. I think about all the money spent on those church buildings and cathedrals, places that are totally unnecessary and of no use to God. It’s just good to know that truth can be taught without all this phoniness. You talk about being brainwashed in your book. I’ve got a cellie who is Jehovah’s Witness. You talk about being brainwashed. Here is a guy who loves the Lord, so he says, but listens to and believes all the garbage they teach. He’s closed minded and he doesn’t read anything but literature from them, and their interpretation of the Bible. I just hate seeing someone be misled. At times we have discussions about the Bible, he is always trying to trip me up. It’s just nice to have your literature to gain true understanding. I know God has led me to a lot of literature, all pertaining to His truths. Especially the importance of obeying all His commandments, especially the Sabbath.

Peter, IL

Dear Brother Ron,

I just finished volume I of "Change Your Life Biblically". I must say, "WOW". I read the Bible often, but "Change Your Life Biblically" opened up my eyes to what I couldn’t see at first. I’m a lifer and my appeal was denied last month. We all have to pay for our sins someway. Thank you brother Ron.

Glenn, CA

Greetings,

I am sending 10 stamps to pay for the postage. Thank you for the opportunity to read your book. I have heard great things about your book. I can’t wait to receive it.

John, CA

Dear Brother Ron,

Hooray, I passed on my answer sheet. Thank you for being patient and encouraging as I struggled to stay on task. Also, thank you for providing such an enlightening study. I’ve begun to share what I’ve learned with many of the men around me. Brother, are they shocked and surprised. Many know me or my old reputation from the years when I was stumbling around in the world’s darkness with all of my energy. Now I am seen in a different light in spite of my seemingly rough exterior. I thank God for all He blesses me to know and understand. I may get a job and begin to send donations and stamps to you. Thank you for all of your letters of encouragement and guidance.

John, CA

Brother Ron,

God bless you my friend and brother. Thank you for all that you do and have done in support of my growth spiritually. Your advice throughout the years, your care and encouragement has helped greatly shape me into the Christian man I am today. Before my conviction and conversion, family members and friends tried to impart wisdom but to no avail. When Jesus got a hold of my heart and soul, He was my sole guide, teacher, and comforter. But the instructions, advice and encouragements, common sense and direction for life during these harsh years of imprisonment were for the most part credited to you, to the glory of God. You don’t know how exhausted I feel being in this confined life that I don’t want to ever be in such a predicament again.

Samuel, CA

To Whom It may Concern,

I picked up this brochure in the chapel and am very interested in receiving this workbook. I believe it can help me in my understanding of the Bible. So please send it to me as soon as you possibly can. It’s exciting to think of the peace of mind that seems so far off in my walk.

James, CA

Hi Ron,

Praise God. I wanted to thank you so much for "Change Your Life Biblically". It has truly helped me to learn more about the Bible and Jesus. I have a friend that I let read mine at times. She said the same thing. So I would like to get one for her. I’m sending you 4 stamps now and when I go to commissary I’ll send you 6 more.

Brenda, TX

Dear Ron,

I believe what I read in Volume I of "Change Your Life Biblically" is the truth. As you say, it is "challenging". I would use the term "revolutionary" because most ‘so called Christians’ told me it is OK to continue sinning because once you accepted Jesus you were saved and could not lose that. (Ha! I say). Most of them also celebrate pagan related holidays like Easter. Many are convinced that it doesn’t matter whether they respect Sunday or Saturday and think Sabbath is just any day we pick. Many don’t see how some Catholics practice idolatry in bowing to statues and images of the virgin Mary or saints. I would love to hear more. I am committed to spreading the truth to others I contact while I am incarcerated and plan to bring the truth to others in other countries.

Christopher, CA

Dear Brother,

I am very interested in receiving your workbook. A homeboy of mine was telling me about your workbook on the yard. When I came inside a brother mentioned that he had one himself. So I borrowed it and read a few pages. Now I’m wanting one for myself. I’m 43 and I’ve had many problems with addictions and setbacks. Now I realize that I want to serve Jesus and not Satan any more. I get out in 16 months and I need to get all the God I can and take Him with me to the streets and not leave Him in R&R. I’m looking for a good Christian home program to parole to from the gate. If you have any suggestions, let me know.

David, CA

(This next came from a mother of a son who is in prison.)

To Prison Ministry,

My son sent me this order form so he could receive your workbook. He is doing 25 to life. He reads the Bible faithfully. Even though he left the Lord in his teenage years, I always had faith he would return one day. Unfortunately he has had to learn that there is a lot of pain in this world. I pray everyday for ministries like yours who help my son and others. God bless you always and I hope you can use the other $15 to bless someone else.

Yvonne, OK

Dear Jesus Christ Prison Ministry,

I’m writing your ministry because A Christian brother let me read his "Change Your Life Biblically". The workbook really changed the way I see certain scriptures in the Bible now. I would like to receive a copy of you guy’s workbook, "Change Your Life Biblically".

Herbert, CA

Dear Brother Ronald,

I just received your notice. I can not afford the 10 stamps, my brother, for the workbook. I am indigent. I will definitely try to pass out the applications that you sent to me. My desire to serve the Lord Jesus Christ is a complete commitment with me. If God places in your heart to provide your workbook, rest assured that I will diligently study it.

Jerry, CA

Brother Ron,

Hey, I just wanted to say, I love your book. You jump right in, cut through the tape and get to the meat. I have learned more in two months than in 37 years. Thanks.

Allen, CA

Ronald John,

I am an inmate. I have heard many great things about the workbook, "Change Your Life Biblically". However, in all honesty, I am totally indigent and can not come up with the money or stamps to pay the fee for the book. I was hoping you could send me the book on my promise that as I come across a few stamps from time to time I will send them to you.

Justin, CA

Dear Sibling in Christ,

I am currently doing my first term in prison. I am very new in the Light of Christ, still drinking milk. I would very much appreciate a copy of "Change Your Life Biblically". A friend in Christ referred me to your ministry. I’m sure that Jesus loves what you are doing with your ministry. The CDC has plenty of lost souls seeking and a lot of time to seek without the massive worldly distractions.

Steven, CA

Brother Ron,

I’ve been in and out of prison most of my life. Now at the age of 43 I find that through all my wrong doings my mother has never gave up on me. I feel I am indebted to her. I learned how to read and write by reading the Word of God. Since I never had a father, everything I know how to do God is the one who gave me the know how. My mother is old and ill. She only speaks Spanish. I have a sister that lives right next door to her. She is a Pentecostal and she is also bilingual. I have tried talking to my sister about her religion and about this workbook. I’ve been meaning to send her this workbook of mine. But she doesn’t want anything to do with me. She still has an attitude against me. She feels that she is perfect because she has an education and a little bit of wealth. When I started reading your workbook 10 months ago, I sent her some quotes from your workbook. She wrote me back saying, "Stop throwing stones". So you see, I feel I am not the right person to talk to my sister about God. I would like you to write my sister and send her the workbook on my behalf. I need my sister to read this workbook to my mother. I love my family dearly, especially my mother. I need my family to hear the wisdom that is found in this book. This is my petition. Please help me.

Gilbert, CA

(Folks, so many want, and need, the book, "Change Your Life Biblically" in Spanish. Only with your continued help and support will we be able to get it printed. I want to thank each of you for sacrificing so people like Gilbert don’t have to use an intermediatory, but can send the book in Spanish.)

Dear Brother Ronald,

I pray the Lord has blessed you for all you have done and all you do. Also, thanks for your words of encouragement. Hopefully the Lord will send other Christians to the web site. But yes, it is true what you said, I am in a position to do His work where it’s most needed. I’ll keep telling people about how your study will help them change their lives through Christ. I’ve just started reading "Joshua". This is my first time trying to read the Bible. I study prayerfully. I ask the Lord to send the Holy Spirit to teach me and strengthen me. I want to serve Him. The Lord has truly opened my heart and eyes. I don’t let the divisions, factions, self-professed Bible experts in here mislead or discourage me. Prison Christians are a trip! But I pray for them all. I take your stance, "I’m to love, not hate, and to teach."

Richard, CA

Dear Ron,

I’m thankful to you for opening my eyes to the real way of life. I have been going my way for awhile. I didn’t have the real understanding of Jesus and His way of life. Nor did anyone want to teach me the truth. All my young years I went to church with my grandparents at least three times a week and Sunday was the day I knew to praise God. Never heard in church how important it is to obey the Ten Commandments and to keep the Sabbath day Saturday. I even helped to clean the church, on Saturday. I really understand now. I was a sinner up until I got this book. It shows me how to apply it into my life and really make me study more. I know I can’t live without the Lord in my life and I owe it all to you for the help and "Change Your Life Biblically" has made a difference in my life.

Glenn, CA

To all my Brothers & Sisters in Christ,

I am writing to everyone who has ever received or requested "Change Your Life Biblically". This is a fantastic book. Many have said so, but it is much more. I am sure hundreds have received this book, but have you allowed this book to touch you? I am a Bible student, studying from every place I could find for the past 7 years. I have seen hundreds of studies from 40 or 50 places. None give you the wealth of information that this book/study gives you in one publication. This book is so exciting that every time I open it, something grabs my immediate attention and pulls me into hours of study. You will learn things in this book that no one else will take the time to teach you. Study every day in your "Change Your Life Biblically" and read your Bible to know it is true. If that doesn’t excite you, that our Lord is talking to you, teaching you, that very minute, maybe you died and someone forgot to send you a memo. Now He is giving you detailed teachings through this book that He allowed to come into your hands. Resource materials are near impossible to get in prison. Here is volumes of information that would take you buying many books to obtain the equivalent. I go out and show this book to others, to help others with their questions and get them interested in this ministry. So if I, a cripple can support this ministry, so can you. Send a dollar, some stamps, and study what Jesus taught about giving. You go out and teach others what you have learned in this book that our Lord put in your hands through our brother in Christ at JCPM. If you are indigent, go get others to help support this ministry by offering a donation. It’s your duty and responsibility. Like you, I am a believer and I only learned of this book a few months ago and have never known JCPM or any supporter prior to this. I just know solid teachings and information when I see it and realize the importance of it. In getting even more books to those of us who were once led down the wrong path. It’s now your turn to help this ministry. Don’t be a taker, be a giver and see what Jesus taught about it. Learn the truth and stop living a lie.

AJ, UT

Brother John,

I would like to say "Thank you" for responding back in writing to my request for your help in sending me the beautiful book. I can only say that I am always grateful in your time and service you give me and all who ask throughout other prisons. I myself am a 22 year old young at the Word, but want to grow strong. I would love to receive your monthly newsletters.

Antonio, CA

Dear Brother Ronald,

The good news is I’ve invited more people to our Sabbath gatherings and it’s almost 3 to 4 times greater than what we used to be. Before, I had to go out of my way to talk to people about Jesus. But now, people are coming to me and it is awesome. I was just getting dressed after my shower and this guy approached me and asked me what an SDA was. I told him they are people who keep the Commandments of God, including the Sabbath and are people expectantly waiting for the advent of Jesus. Of course it was in more detail. He seemed fascinated and told me he wanted to learn more. So I plan to speak to him and invited him to our gathering. It’s so wonderful to see our group growing. I think you might have to get ready to send a bunch of CYLB books here. :-) Thank you for your encouraging words and advises. Jesus has been keeping me strong lately. Here are seven stamps for this month’s tithe.

Timmy, CA

Dear Ron,

I want to thank you for the dedication that you put towards inmates in the system. I was given the pleasure and opportunity to read through your book. I was given understanding and light that I never had before about the true meaning and interpretation of the Bible. I did a lot of cross reference and research that showed the information was accurate and correct. I would like to receive my own book with any other material that you have available for us. I thank you again for all that you’re doing to bring the Word of God to clarity.

Pascal, CA

Dear JCPM,

Thank you for answering my letter. I passed out the pamphlets you sent, to some fellow inmates that are also interested in your Bible study workbook, "Change Your Life Biblically". I’ve been studying for sometime myself through many different correspondent courses over the years. I’m looking forward to receiving your workbook which seems to be unique in itself and of course like everyone else, "The truth shall set you free". I believe that so I’m very interested and look forward to the challenge. Enclosed are the ten first class stamps to help with postage as you requested.

Ralph, CA

Dear Sirs,

I am interested in "Change Your Life Biblically". I had an opportunity to look through one that belongs to a friend and I found it informative and intriguing.

Christopher, TX

JCPM,

I am writing this letter in hopes of receiving your book, "Change Your Life Biblically". A friend highly recommended it to me.

Michael, UT

Brother Ron,

A friend of mine let me read "Change Your Life Biblically". I really liked your book. So I’m wondering if you could please get me one. I will have 10 stamps for you very soon. I’m doing kinda bad at this moment. I’m trying to change my life. I used to be a gang member in here and on the streets. I don’t want to be a part of this no longer.

Tony, NV

Dear Ronald,

I got your letter today and I have to say, it was nice to hear my name called for mail. I am sorry to say that I am absolutely broke and have nothing coming. But I give you my word that as soon as I can come up with five stamps I will send them. But as of right now I have nothing.

Wesley, CA

Ronald John,

I am sending my 10 stamps to receive "Change Your Life Biblically".

Justina, CA

Jesus Christ Prison Ministry,

I am a 34 year old Hispanic. This is my third violation. I’m sick and tired of coming back to these places. I want to change very bad. Unfortunately every time I get out I’m surrounded by a lot of triggers which cause me to relapse and go back to my old ways. I try in the beginning but soon I fall to the temptations all around me. Yes, I believe it is my fault for everything I’ve brought upon myself. But I seek help every time and this time I’m asking for help from deep within my heart. But drug use always brings me down. I’ve been living with a lot of regrets and shame for the past 5 years. I find it hard to go on any more seeing myself as a failure. I once had it all: house, cars, money and a lovely family - the perfect picture. But Meth brought me to a sudden stop in my "use to be" successful life. I hate myself sometimes because I always go back to it. But I know there is help in God. I am asking for help to find the right path to find my self respect and forgiveness from my family. My wife and kids are waiting to see me change. My wife wants to reunite with me, but first she wants to see the change in me. She wants to be sure I stay away from my old friends and neighborhoods. Please help me, guide me in the direction of salvation.

David, CA

Ronald John,

I am indigent and back in prison once again. I need help in the Word. I cannot do this on my own. Our prison here is full of hate and I am tired of coming back time after time. I need God in my life. Please help me.

Steven, UT
