"Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Does he not leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it?... there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent." PRAISE THE LORD

Prison Mission Report!

Dear Brothers and Sister in Christ,

This is the month we traditionally celebrate "Thanksgiving". A true Christian celebrates it every day in his heart and life. I’m still learning that. The beautiful thing about Christianity is it is never boring. A true Christian is learning every day how to live the perfect, righteous life of Christ in all he does, each day. Definitely not boring.

Dear Ronald John,

Thank you sir for getting back at me so soon. I want to get started on my workbook "Change Your Life Biblically" as soon as possible. You see, throughout the last 20 years, I’ve played this game inside these walls. A few years ago I had a fall out and have been struggling with my self on how to carry myself without that life. Last April my dad had a massive heart attack and died. It has affected me more than I can put into words. I made my mother a promise on that day and that was that I would change my life and I would do everything in my power to get out there with her and take care of her. I’ve been searching for God and sir, I’m not the smartest book on the shelf, but some thing I’ve read from you has touched me and I trust you enough to let you lead me onto the right path. So I ask you for your help with my road ahead. I will come up with the 10 stamps you’ve requested because sire, I want this workbook.

Chris, CA

Hello,

My name is Joseph. I was wondering if you could send me anything that will help me in my walk with the Lord. I’ve seen your books and I think they are great.

Joseph, CA

Dear Ronald John,

Thank you for your most wonderfully encouraging letter. I now look at the people around me differently. More in the manner Jesus did about Jerusalem. Instead of being critical, I wonder when they will realize that they can’t win any argument with the ones in gray uniforms, even when the officers are "wrong". Since I have been here, there has been three inmates who have had problems. But instead of using reason and common sense, have yelled and screamed verbal abuse at the officer, with the expected results: led away in handcuffs. Instead of bewailing the fact that I will be locked up longer than I expected, I thank God that my parole will be shorter. I am amazed at the easy-going and friendly officers I meet here daily. But I shouldn’t be, to paraphrase a proverb, "When a man is right with God, he makes his enemies to be at peace with him." In that circumstance they become friends, not enemies to me. My whole attitude, my speech, becomes non-combative and they recognize that and respond to it in a friendly way.

Joseph, TX

Dear Brother Ron,

I’m still in the hole. But then it’s been a blessing because I’ve had time to study. Yes, I’m still studying "Change Your Life Biblically". I pray the Lord will lead some people with kind hearts to help the ministry.

Dennis, CA

Dear Brother Ron,

A lot has been going through my mind lately. I had some anger issues I had to work out. I knew God had brought me into this building for a purpose. Every other building have Bible studies with prideful leaders who think they know everything. But not this building. That is why I was able to start sharing and teaching right away. Even though the group didn’t grow as I wanted or expected, I’ve noticed that many don’t join for fear. Everything looked so smooth with the Bible study group and with a couple very desirous to learn. My bunkie was forcing me to move out and there was nowhere to go. It was as if some Divine hand stopped the move. Finally, a few days ago, God had found a great bunk, a lower great bunk. How foolish I felt for even having a glimmer of doubt in my mind. Now I could carry on the Bible study and I can do my private Bible studies without feeling uncomfortable. The Bible study group is going great. Thank you for your prayers.

Timmy, CA

Dear Brother John, Director:

I’ve just received this letter in the mail today and I can only hope that you will accept my 10 stamps so that I may get the books. I am also sending 10 extra stamps because you asked me to be honest with you. To be honest I can afford it, so would you please use them to send some other brother or sister that has nothing their books. I think anyone who wants to find Jesus should have the chance. So please use the 10 extra stamps any way you need to and thank you for the chance to learn and help others.

David, CA

Dear Brother Ronald John,

I sent you two other detainee’s to order their books along with their stamps and my order to get my book. We are in immigration fighting our cases so we won’t get deported to our countries. I’m from Guatemala raised in L.A. since the age of 4 years old. I’m now going to be 41 years old. Hector is from Mexico, also raised in the States. George is from Africa and also raised in the States. We were brought to Texas from California due to over crowding. I’m an ex gang member, drug addict and alcoholic and convict. About a year ago I accepted Jesus in my heart and I found peace and patience in my heart. I tell people that just praying and reading the Bible is not going to work. We have to walk the Word and be righteous with God. It’s an everyday struggle to fight the devil and I’m winning this fight.

Everardo, TX

Dear Ronald John,

Thank you so much for writing back. Your my new found family. Why do I say that? Because my own mother won’t write to me at all. But God has opened me up to love and forgiveness. So I’m not mad at her and I pray for her all the time. As for the rest of my family, they don’t care either. I am going to be here for some time. With my lawyer, I may never know when I will ever get to the next court date. Can’t wait to hear from you. Your great.

Joshua, GA

Brother Ronald,

I got your letter, and was pleased to hear from you. I’m a baby at the Word as you can tell, I’m sure. After reading your book through one time, I can say, I’m a real baby now. I see things different now. I’ve done lots of Bible studies in the past, but I read and have a hard time remembering what I read. One thing I used to read over and over was Romans 7:14-24. My view of that now is much different after reading your book. Your book is a bomb. It blows things wide open for me. I tell everyone about your book of truths. What is so great is it’s backed by Scripture after Scripture. It’s like a Bible in its own, almost. The two of them go hand in hand. I really want to get a church started, even if it’s in the yard. But I want to share what you have shared with me. Lots of people want to send off for your book. But most want to wait until they get to where they are going. I want to try to get my sister to get one of your books. She is a minister on the streets. It’s sad to believe so many people have grown to learn the wrong ways of life. Some people just don’t know the truths.

Gaylan, CA

To Brother in Christ,

I have been reading your book that I came across here in the jail. I always new Jesus, but this has really opened my eyes to the truth of it. I love the book. I was hoping I could get a copy with the worksheets or the worksheets themselves. I will probably be spending quite a bit of time in prison. I pray everyday the Lord forgives me and if I do what He teaches I will be saved and join Him.

Preston, CA

Dear Brother John,

Are you sure that you are writing to me? All those acolytes surely don’t fit my life style very much. I keep slipping back into "old Joe" much of the time. When I become aware of it, it seems like nothing has been accomplished in my life. All that I can say about it is that I put it into God’s hands. The key thought, though, is that we are not in control of anything but ourselves and that not very well at all. But of course, I don’t have much experience at letting go of myself and letting God take the reins to guide me into a better way of life. I realize that the backsliding occurs when I get so wrapped up in what I want that I forget about God and what He wants to show me of good things, not the bad. But you are right, what God has to teach me is much more important than the prison classroom work, because eternity is a very long time.

Joseph, TX

Dear Ron,

God bless you a lot. As I mentioned in my last letter, this book has honestly changed my life and way of thinking. What I read especially concerned our Lord Jesus Christ. To find your application and then receive your book has been one of my life’s greatest encounters. I tell everyone about it. I am and want to continue working for our Lord through you. I want to be a giant (GIANT) part of your team.

Daniel, WA

Dear Brother Ron,

Thank you for responding to my letter. Yes, I have been working on "Change Your Life Biblically" since August. But I’m enjoying it better than anything I’ve ever read or studied. But I do hope to have my answer sheets completed soon so that I’ll be able to receive a certificate and move on to more studies. I can’t believe myself how much I’ve learned so far during this study. It makes you wanna share what you’ve learned with others, which I’ve been doing, especially with my younger sister. She’s hard because she doesn’t seem to give up on what she believes to be the truth, but thanks to Jesus she’s started asking me to tell her more of what I’ve been studying. I’ll admit that I’m still a long way off myself. I’ll continue to study and learn all I need to know so that I’ll be able to walk as Jesus walked.

Darren, FL

Hello,

I’m kind of looking for a better way of understanding the Word of Christ. I’m serving seven life sentences and I’m indigent but I would like to hear from others who Christ has helped and hopefully they can send prayers on my behalf. I’m actually innocent of the crimes I’m in here for and I’ve lost all of my family. I need the Lord in my life really bad.

William, TX

Dear Jesus Christ Prison Ministry,

Good day to you. My name is Ryan. I have in front of me a copy of "Change Your Life Biblically" and I must admit it is an awesome book. Unfortunately there are missing pages and no answer sheets. I write to ask if you could send me a copy of "Change Your Life Biblically". I am very interested in taking your course and would greatly appreciate it if you could send me one.

Ryan, CA

Dear Jesus Christ Prison Ministry,

I just want to thank you for "Change Your Life Biblically". It has not only opened my eyes to history, it also brings the Bible stories home. How can anyone read the Bible and not realize this story to be true. I’m really enjoying what I’m reading.

Timothy, CA

Dear Ronald,

I am completely indigent with no help from anyone on the street or in here right now. I was incarcerated when I was 19 and got out for the first time when I was 27. I was out for 7 1/2 months and am back. I don’t go to the board until 2009. I have been left on my own from my family to learn. I would like to do your program.

Derick, UT

Dear Brother John,

Thank you for sending me a workbook. I’m learning things I would have never known on my own. I know I will learn a lot more before I’m done with the book. But for now I just would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Jeff, GA

Dear Brother Ronald,

I thank you for getting back to me. I’m sorry to say that at the moment I’m indigent and don’t have the stamps to send you. But the only thing I have to offer your ministry is the willing desire to work for Jesus in your ministry. Let me know how I can be of service to your ministry upon my release. I’m also looking for a Christian home or Christian based program to go to upon my release.

Rudy, CA

Dear Brother Ron,

My name is Jose. I was in ASU for a while and requested one of your books. My cellie received your book. The reason I’m requesting one is cause I’m no longer in Ad-Seg. I’m now on a program yard. I’ve read the Bible a few time during my times in Ad-Seg. I’ve been trying to change my life for the better. I’ve always tried to open my heart to the Lord and ask Him to give me understanding of His Word. But haven’t been able to understand Him till I read your book. I just read a few pages and was like "wow", your explanations are real simple to understand. So I would really appreciate one of your books so I can learn and study more the Word of God.

Jose, CA

Brother Ronald John,

Once more it is a true pleasure to receive word from you The Spirit of wisdom and kindness God has given you truly are of great benefit to you and those whom are fortunate to be assisted by you. Your service to people like me is greatly appreciated. Thanks a ton. I must say, your ministry straight up humbles me. It’s so genuine and so biblical. You know, as I hear from you personally or read your book to myself or to others, I’m taken back to the dire need for godly ministries like yours to continue on. Yes, I may get a lot of doors closed in my face for truth, but that does not down play the fact that souls need truth. The type Christ has given you. As I read your monthly newsletter I’m reminded of the great depth your ministry is needed and how for now all I can do is pray that people out there will be touched enough by God to contribute to your heaven sent mission.

Frankie, CA

Dear Brother Ron,

Thank you for answering my letter back so quickly. I am very interested in taking your course. But am an indigent inmate. If you can send me the course I would greatly appreciate it. When I get money or upon my release, I will send you money to use to spread your workbook. Here is a little insight on myself. I am 21 years old with 2 strikes. I recently gave up being a northerner and am now trying to find God. I have an old copy of your workbook, but it is missing a lot of pages. What I have read so far has opened my eyes to a lot of things I didn’t know. I can’t wait to get the whole copy.

Ryan, CA

Dear Sir,

I’m currently without funds. I have a few stamps I can send. Please send me "Change Your Life Biblically". I would surely love to apply it to my new life. I’m a new Christian. This book will change my life. I’ve heard a lot about the book and it would be a blessing to have it. I long for Christian fellowship. It’s hard to find in here.

Henry, CA

Dear Brother Ronald John,

Could you send me a copy of your book, "Change Your Life Biblically". I can come up with $20 and in about 1 week I’ll be able to send more as I’m waiting on a check and also for my job to resume. I’m wanting to contribute to the ministry as God allows me to work. Please send me what’s available. Work has been sporadic but I think what I read in your letter is good and am interested to try and help out. I have a nephew in prison and would like to send him a book. Thanks, your brother in Christ

Hello Brother Ron,

Just a few lines to stay in touch and let you know I have been doing better each Sabbath as far as my studies. Some people came through today from some big "Weekend of Champions" and they shared and spoke and sang. I am on the same page with you and learned a lot from you and Ellen White about God’s Sabbath or man’s sabbath; we need to decide. I chose God’s and it bothers me that seemingly good people choose man’s and I know many of them have to know better. Not once did I hear any of the speakers teach or even mention the Commandments. It is sad that that much effort and $ can’t put out a message that will help save people. I’ve been in custody 23 out of the past 25 years and I know I am done and will serve the Lord from now on whether in here or out there. I want you to know your book has helped me more than any other material I’ve read as a whole.

Danny, CA

To Whom it may Concern,

I find myself writing because I just left a prison and my old cellie had a book that I really enjoyed to read and share with friends and fellow Christian brothers. Now when I speak about what I know, I wish I could back it up with the facts in hand. Your easy to read and understand "Change Your Life Biblically" book is awesome to explain. And not to mention the pictures that help inspire the truth. What I’m trying to say is, that if I could be blessed with a book of my own, I would greatly appreciate it. I promise to make sure it is put to use.

John, CA

Brother Ronald,

I love the workbook you sent me and I’ve almost finished it; "The First Time". But I have a problem and I was hoping you could help me figure out how to solve it. I don’t want to sin any longer and yes, I do want to walk with Jesus. But what am I supposed to do if we work on the seventh-day Sabbath? In here you can’t pick your days off and if we just stop we get more time. Please help. What should we do?

Steve, CA

(The Sabbath is a day to serve God. We are never to put our selfish wants ahead of God’s commands. Jesus obeyed unto death. If any of man’s requirements come between us and keeping the Ten Commandments, we must always be obedient to God’s Ten Commandments and accept whatever the consequences.

However, "serving God" is manifested in our service to our fellow man. Most, if not all, jobs that work on the Sabbath in prison, are "humanitarian" jobs. That means they are for the good and service of our fellow man. Do you work in the kitchen? Then do the work unto Jesus as if you were serving Him. Do you work as a porter? Than clean as if you were serving Jesus. Do you work as a clerk? Than clerk as if you were clerking for Jesus. All those jobs are jobs that have to be done for the good of the "society" you are in. They are not "me" jobs for the sake of "monetary gain". These types of jobs can be medical related, security related and those for the health and welfare of society.

However, if you make money in any of these jobs, than, calculate what you make while working on the Sabbath and give that to a ministry that is serving Jesus. That way you are not working for money, but to serve others.

If you are working a job that is strictly for "commerce" and money making, let them know that you will have to find another job and will be quitting within a few weeks. Otherwise, find a way to get the Sabbath off.)

Dear Brother Ron,

Thanks so much for the book and DVD. I received them yesterday. I skimmed through the book and really am impressed with it because it is from God. Haven’t seen the DVD yet. As soon as I get my 1st check, I’ll remember the ministry. It’s good to know that sending God’s money to you will go truly for His work. Thanks so much.

David, CA, Non-inmate

Hello Dear Friends at JCPM,

Thank you for replying to my inquiry about your book/workbook, "Change Your Life Biblically". I feel that when I complete it, it will answer many questions I have after doing several other Bible studies. But, as I continually pray for guidance, I am thankful your words have inspired me to proceed. Enclosed is a check in the amount of $10 so that at least one other person may be encouraged to do the Bible study. Just wish I could do more. May God continue to abundantly bless your ministry to those "Behind Bars".

Doris, ID

Dear JCPM,

Your book has been a blessing to me. It has showed me many things that I did not know. I have read it several times and answered the questions. I do like the book and am reading it again.

Neil, NY

Bro. Ron,

It’s been quite a while since I’ve written to you. I’ve been dealing with a whole lot of personal Issues: family issues and prison issues, etc. Even though I’m in the SHU, 10 years in May with no cellie, I still can’t seem to accomplish much. It’s been about a year since I received your study book. Guess what? I still haven’t completed the whole test. Going over what I have done. I’m not fully satisfied with some answers. I’m sure I’ll be doing the test again later on. I’m cool with that. I want you to know that because of the study book, I’m so much more into studying the Bible and being able to understand so much more. It has made my relationship with God closer than it ever has been. Especially learning exactly how God wants us to conduct ourselves. Ten Commandments: not so difficult after all. Sometimes learning the truth is a little scary. But I believe that fearing the Lord as much as loving Him is a very good thing. I’m not so angry any more. My life is not the best at this moment in time. But it’s bearable and doable for the simple fact that God’s promises get me through all the worst of times. I haven’t heard from my family in two years. I’m thinking that maybe no one is writing to me anymore because they just got tired of caring and waiting for me to change. Can’t blame them for that. In 27 years I’ve never been out of prison for more than 4-5 months. This 5 years I got was my 7th term. That’s not a very good record. I don’t know Ron, sometimes I think my family thinks that I’m not writing to them on purpose. But what it really is, is that I don’t have any ones address. They all moved in the last few years. It’s just that I have a lot bottled up inside of me. I’ve written 3 letters in 2 years. All three to you. So for now Ron, you are my shoulder to lean on. The good news is that because of "THE" Good News, I find myself content and I guess I can say happy too, with life. I’ve come to truly believe that all these years in prison was my blessing from God. I have learned so much about Him and my purpose in life. All these years in here have given me the privilege and opportunity to grow closer and closer to God. I’ve been in here learning to obey and love and fear God. Your book has given me so much insight. I’ve been going over and over the Bible learning more and more every time. I don’t think I’d ever would had known the "Truth" without the workbook. So many passages have become more clear to me and the simplicity of living Christ like is amazing. Obeying His Ten Commandments, believing in Christ, Keep the Sabbath "Sat" is all God asks of us. Man, with God all things are truly possible. Please keep me in your prayers. Thank you bro. Ron for helping me understand the truth and way of God.

Stephen, CA

Dear Brother Ron,

I would very much like to receive a copy of your "Change Your Life Biblically". However I am totally indigent with no help form anyone on the inside or outside. I’m 53 years old and I have a life sentence. I was pretty much a loner when I was on the streets and abused drugs and drink all of my adult life. I found the Lord only when I came to prison and now all I want to do is to serve Him any way He leads me. I have a hard time with some of the programs that are offered in the chapel. They seem to push more religion than just what the Bible teaches, so I feel your workbook would help me better understand what God’s plan is for me in this life and how better I can serve Him from the inside.

David, FL

Dear JCPM,

I am writing to you because my neighbor let me check out your awesome book, "Change Your Life Biblically". As I am a baby in Christ it was very insightful. I believe your book can help me very much with my walk. I was hoping you could bless me with a copy.

Mauricio, CA

Dear Brother in Christ, Ron:

First of all I would like to thank you for sending my wife the book, "Change Your Life Biblically" and the DVD. The important thing here is that the seed is in my home. Unfortunately I can’t be there to water it. But God will one day on His time. Thank you so much brother Ron. Now, here in Immigration Detention, people come and go. They don’t stay long. Some two weeks, some 4 or 6. Some like me who are fighting for their papers stay longer; from 1 to 2 years. I have met many people here and most of them speak very little English and don’t write it at all. (Folks, we need to get these books into Spanish.) But some do read English. My point is that the flyers that I hand out as seeds don’t produce fruit because these people don’t stay long enough for the book to arrive. So I am thinking that I want to get more books from you. This way I could talk to them and if I see their intent in the truth I can give them the book to take with them to their country. This is already happing. I gave my own book to someone who was being departed. So I need another one for me. I am sending you 10 more stamps. Can you please send me another book for me. And if you agree I will send you 10 stamps every time I find another lost should so they can have a book and come to the Lord.

Hector, TX

Now there is a true missionary. God bless Hector. Please be praying for us to find a way meet the needs of immigration detainees.

Love in Christ,

Ron
