Prison Mission Report!

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ: I have been sharing with each of you the wonderful letters we receive each month. It truly is a blessing for me to share these with you. Even the inmates appreciate the letters. It helps them to know that they are not alone. That others are going through the same things they are going through. Prison is a very lonely place. No matter how crowded it is, it is one of the most loneliest places on the face of the earth. All the inmates appreciate the financial support each of you donors provides for this little ministry. Without your continued help, we would not be able to do this. Please pray that God will continue to find new hearts to touch to help join our very small donor base. Please sit back now and continue enjoying more letters from inmates.
Dear Ministry, I am not a Christian. I am careful about telling people that because it seems to me that everyone who says they are a Christian are a hypocrite. I’m not going to role play with my life. I do read the Bible, pray and study. My cellie brought your book here one day. I flipped through it and wrote your address down. Then the next day I read the first 50 pages. I liked what you said. It was how I felt. My cellie returned the book to its owner and I never did find out who that was. There are a lot of issues I have. I hope your book can answer them. If not, I hope you can take the time to help me understand. With that said, I would like to get started. Please send the book to me. Tim, TX
Hello There, My name is Larry. I just received a pamphlet stating "A Free Gift For You" which is a book called, "Change Your Life Biblically". The reason I’m writing is I’m interested in receiving a copy of the book. I’m trying to turn my life around and walk the Christian walk and it’s hard. So I would like to request the book call, "Change Your Life Biblically". Thank you very much for your help and may God continue to bless your ministry. Larry, CA
Dear JCPM, My name is Salvador and I am an inmate. My neighbor showed me your book, "Change Your Life Biblically". He only let me skim through it. You know what? You got my attention. I would like my own copy and my own workbook. I am tired of my life. I want to know more about Jesus. I want to walk with Jesus but don’t know how. Please help me. My world around me seems to be crashing before me. I heard so much on how wonderful Jesus is and I want that experience. Please help me. I hope to fill the void in my life, the hole in my heart. Salvador, CA
Dear Mr. Ronald John, I would like to start this letter by saying "thank you" for responding to my last letter. I appreciate you taking time out of your day to write back. I would like to be able to send you the 10 first class stamps but I have no money or stamps. I am using state issue envelopes to write you. I have no body on the outside who will give me any money. Also, I don’t now any inmates who are willing or able to loan me anything since I don’t have it to give back. I really would like to participate in your program. Charles, CA
Hi, I am writing you back to say thank you. I have received your letter and times are not good for me right now. I am totally indigent. I have no one on the outside. I have trouble just getting by in here. I have no envelopes or stamps or anything on my books. I am just glad to receive the two hots and a bag lunch. Your book "Change Your Life Biblically" has opened my eyes to a number of things. But my bunkie has been moved. I hoped to receive my own copy. If you can find it in your heart, I would love to follow your life changing book of the truth to be as close to Jesus Christ and God our Savior. Ricky, CA
Brother Ronald, I have received your book and literature. What a blessing. Praise God. I have read the first few pages and it has already opened my eyes to a higher understanding. Thank you. I know your book is going to be very instrumental in helping me learn to apply the Holy Scriptures to my daily life as a Christian, as the Lord has instructed us to. Once again, thank you and God bless you. It is evident that He has by giving you the gift to write this book for His children who are still learning. Ron, my cellie has already written to you. He didn’t respond to your last letter because he didn’t have the stamps. Enclosed are 12, .37 cent stamps. Can you please send him a copy of your book "Change Your Life Biblically". Thank you. Steven, CA
Dear Christian Brothers, I want to thank you in advance for the blessing that you will be sending me. I just like to ask that if you have any additional type of Bible studies that you could send me, please, I beg you, send them to me for I am very hungry to learn more and more. Thank God for you guys. You are a blessing to starving souls. Again, thank you so much and when I come out, I will get involved with your ministry. Douglas, CA
Dear Brother Ron, Today I received the "Change Your Life Biblically". Thank you very much. I look forward to learning about our Lord and Savior and being at peace and having a better life. Also, please, can you please pray for my mom and let her get better from her sickness. Also, for my son, Malachi, who got hurt but is better but is probably going to be taken from his mother. I want the best for him and to have a good life. Thank you. Steven, CA
To Whom it may concern, I saw a pamphlet about a free workbook called, "Change Your Life Biblically" recently at the prison I’m in. I don’t know how to receive another pamphlet so I decided to write one on plain paper. I also saw that I could earn a free Bible and be a pen-pal. That would be very helpful to me. I am all alone in here and on the outside I don’t make any pone calls. I don’t receive any mail and nor do I receive visitors. No one on the outside wants to see me succeed. I need some encouragement and I think this workbook will help. Veronica, OK
Mr. John, I received your letter today. Thanks, but at this time I am totally indigent because I just gotten out of segregation with a $200 fine I have to pay. Meaning D.O.C. won’t allow me to send funds outside until the fines paid. Sorry. Joe is the one who turned me on with your workbook with his enthusiasm and I can’t wait to start. I’ll try my best to make sure to find another way to send you funds. Charles, OR
Dear Brother Ronald, I meet this ex-con the other day by the name of brother Rick preaching the Word of God and his testimony was very inspirational to me. He is a member of your ministry brother Ronald. He also mentioned the Seventh day and a Bible study course titled: "Change Your Life Biblically". I would be greatly appreciated brother Ronald if you could please allow me to obtain this Bible study book. James, CA
Greetings, Recently I completed your study which was very enlightening showing the pagan rituals etc. Thank you for taking the time to pass along the blessing you were given. The blessing being knowledge of God’s plan for our salvation and also showing us babes in Christ some of the misleading things the devil is using against us in battle. After competing your study I was moved to another level. I’m enclosing a couple letters from brothers who, like me, aren’t financially secure let alone stable but want to do the studies which I have done. Kurt, AZ
To Whom It May Concern, I’m writing because I heard of your Bible study course through Kurt, my Christian brother and am extremely interested. I’m looking for anything to help me strengthen my walk with the Lord. Unfortunately I am unable to make a donation at this time. I would like to be able to give. Christopher, AZ
Hello, My name is Oscar. I’ve just been sent to prison for seven years. I’ve been reading the Bible and it has caught my attention and I hear you have a good Bible study. I would love to do a Bible study. At this moment I have no money. I’m praying to the Lord that I get sent to a yard where I can work. Whatever years I have left of life, I would love to live it the right way doing the walk with Jesus Christ. Oscar, AZ
Dear Brother Ron, I hope I find you and the ministry doing well. I am writing to inform you that I’m being released from prison. I am enclosing my tithes and offerings. You should receive a money order. I would also like to thank you for being who you are. You have been a tutor, a mentor and a friend. You have helped me by teaching me the things of God and I will forever be grateful. I will continue to keep in touch and help the ministry. I know I’ll be able to do a lot more upon my release. I know you probably heard this a million times and have been let down. But just trust me. Please pray for me and my family. God bless you and the ministry. Luis, AZ
Dear Ron, My name is Chad. There are a couple of guys in my dorm that received your book. I looked through it and it interested me very much. Would you be able to send me 2 here? One for myself and one for my bunkie? Would you be able to send one to my biological father as well who is also in prison? I’ve never met him, but have written him a few times. He wants to get stronger with the Lord and I think your book will help. If you wouldn’t mind, I would like to keep in contact with you. When I get out I want to start a prison ministry similar to yours. Being in here and even the county I’ve seen a lot of lonely people. I myself have awesome support group, but it’s sad for these people that are locked up and don’t have any support or anyone to write to. So I wanted to start some sort of pen pal prison ministry. It’s kinda similar to your ministry. Once I’m out I would love to assist you in any way I could. I think I would enjoy that. The highlight of the day being in prison or jail is waiting for that mail list posted. I feel God is calling me somehow to help the inmates that don’t have anyone. Chad, NY
Hello, I’m writing in regards to your "Change Your Life Biblically". I was informed by another convict that you were a very understanding person if a person doesn’t have any financial income or means to pay for one of your books. I would highly appreciate it if you can forward me one which to my understanding would help me in my studies towards religion and believe in Christ. Anthony, CA
To Brother Ron, I just became a Christian about 5 months ago. I’m doing 3 years for robbery. I was a skinhead for many years. I dropped out of the gang. I don’t like being racial. I’ve learned that being a Christian is the way and only way. We have great fellowship here. I’m blessed. I am indigent with no money. The brothers look out for me. I can’t wait to receive my book. Larry, CA
Dear Brother Ron, Hello and God bless you. I am writing you to let you know that you are doing a wonderful job with the ministry. It’s a blessing that you have touched so many individuals. We are praying that God will continue to help the ministry and give you the strength and funds to keep it working. Jesse & Dora, CA Jesse and Dora are parents of an inmate who has read the book, "Change Your Life Biblically". He has changed his life and they see that change. We praise the Lord for His wonderful mercy and grace in giving all of us the many "chances" we don’t deserve. We also praise God for loving parents who put up with our foolishness and stupidity. God bless parents. Dear Jesus Christ Prison Ministry, Thank you very much for your response and for the offer of the book, "Change Your Life Biblically". I can’t wait to be able to read and study this book. I have enclosed $5.00 to you for the coverage of postage and hopefully a little extra. I do not make a lot here but the Lord has really blessed me recently. I really appreciate all of the time, effort and love in Christ you share in this program. My prayers are with you always. Bob, MI
Dear Brother, I found this laying on the ground. I picked it up and read it. When I saw Jesus Christ Prison Ministry and a free book, I felt the Spirit move. Please send me this book and any other that is Christ praising. Jim, CA
Dear Brother Ron, I have just received the newsletter and it’s very uplifting. I’ve realized over time that no matter what Jesus is truly here for me, wanting and asking to come into my heart. I am truly indigent and as I have said before, I will send some stamps as soon as I can. Tonya, OR
Dear Jesus Christ Prison Ministry, I am in the jail. I have been in here for almost a year now fighting a murder case. I am not a murderer, but I am being charged with accessory to it. Well, ever since I got locked up, I turned my life to God because I knew I was going to be killed. If I was going to die, I wanted to go to heaven. My friend in here let me borrow this book, "Change Your Life Biblically". I haven’t started it yet, but I read the letters in the beginning and this address where it says to tell others to write here for a free copy of this book. Well, since I’m not a quick reader, I would like to take my time reading this book because it seems like it will be a very good help to me. I would like to have my own copy so that I won’t have to rush to give it back to its owner. Well, I will start this book right now and I pray that God give me wisdom and understanding to learn from this book. Michael, CA
Dear Ronald John, Thank you for sending me the book, "Change Your Life Biblically". I appreciate that you sent me the workbook though I was without funds. Thank you again. I am doing the Lord’s work by passing out those brochures that you send to me and as long as you send me those brochures, I will continue to pass them out. I am learning a lot through your workbook and will continue to learn. I am already on page 39 about grace. I am really learning in that area. I thought I could be saved by grace and I am wrong. Thank you again for sending the workbook to me. Michael, CA Hi My name is Diane and I have your book. It is a great book. I told my son about your book and he wants me to see if I can get him a copy. He is in for eight years first timer. I was just wondering if you are still in business? Please let me know if you have any books. I would be glad to pay for it. If not, I will keep looking. Thank you for your time. Diane, OR Dear Sir, My name is Michael. I am an inmate. I received your letter about your book. My cellmate had his parents send you $5 for the book, for himself. You said to be honest. Well, I don’t have anybody on the outside to send you the $5. And I don’t have any money in my trust account. I am completely indigent. I was hoping you could bless me with these books anyway so I could learn more about Jesus Christ and hopefully turn my life around. Michael, CA
Dear Jesus Christ Prison Ministry, I’m writing you concerning your book. I’ve been reading and hearing so much about your book and would love a copy. I am currently serving a 50 year sentence. With Jesus in my life, I’m more free then I’ve ever been. Truly, my concern is getting right with my Lord. That’s why I’m requesting your book. I truly believe it will help my walk with my Lord. Roy, TX
Dear Mr. Ronald John, I’m writing again in regards to your workbook, "Change Your Life Biblically". I truly would like to have a copy of your book. But I’m sorry, I don’t have any money, stamps or envelopes. If I had, I would surely send them, cause I find it very grateful that you offer such a great book. There was a copy of it around the jail somewhere, but someone ripped out a bunch of pages from what another inmate had told me. I want to learn how to live a normal life again without drugs. I had hoped your workbook would help me change for the better. Swale, VA
Dear JCPM, Wow, unbelievable how much I really didn’t know. This has truly been a wonderful eye opening experience. Doing your workbook has finally opened my eyes to the truth. I will from now on walk as Jesus walked: Stop sinning, be perfect, and obey all of the 10 Commandments. I thank you for writing this book because now you have completely change my life and have given me salvation. I love all of you for showing me the truth. Danny, CA
Brother in Christ, Ron, Thank you for answering my last letter after my transfer. I have now received the book, "Change Your Life Biblically" and have read it one time and 1/2 through now for 2nd time. The book has caused me, while reading my Bible, how true things are. Your book opened my eyes of understanding better even though I struggle because now the devil works harder to bring my sins to accuse me more. I can only pray and place my all in Jesus whom I can do all things which strengthens me. I’ve been down 15 years and still got 5 to go. I hope you have been able to get the much needed money to keep this ministry alive. Warren, TX
Hey Brother in Christ, I was able to read your study guide 2 1/2 times before being transferred from jail to prison. I gave my copy to another inmate and require another, please. It has enabled me to share 7th day Sabbath, obey the commandments, and be perfect with many others. It’s information is invaluable and presented in such a way that is easy to understand. Please include several flyers as this camp has 1200 inmates or more and I’ve not seen your study guide in the chapel library. I’ve got my work cut out for me. I’ll send stamps as soon as I can to cover postage. Thanks once again for opening my eyes to the true Sabbath and Jesus’ true message. Roger, FL
Dear Mr. John, I write this letter to request your workbook. But unfortunately as of this moment, I am currently indigent. I’m asking for your charity until sometime next 2 weeks. Then I will be able to afford the 10 stamps required to help educate us newborns. I would have waited, but I’m excited about your workbook. I thought I’d see if I could get a head start based on the honor system. Steven, CA
Dear Jesus Christ Ministry, My name is Christopher and I am doing three years. The reason that I am writing to you is that a good friend of mine was here with me and he had this book with a cat on the front of it. It read, "Change Your Life Biblically". At first he said "read it, it’s great". But at the time I wasn’t to much into the Bible until one day I finally asked him, "is that book really good?" He said, "I bet you if you pick up that book and read one page out of it, you would be into something that would change your life. That’s God." So he said go and use the book. So I did and you know what? I haven’t been able to put it down. I love that book. Well, my good friend had to move prisons and had to take the book with him. But he said that here is the address and that I should write. Well, it’s about 3 a.m. in the morning. I couldn’t sleep. I didn’t get to read the book tonight. It bothered me so I felt I should write and hope that I would be able to get one of your awesome books. Please, I think it was one of the best books I have ever read. Well, that was one of my thoughts and I just had to write so if there is any way that I could receive a Change Your Life Biblically book, I would love it. Christopher, CA
Dear Brother Ron, I’m trying to do my part in getting your book to more inmates, especially the ones I feel are ready to open it and read. I’m finding it impossible to convince people they have to be perfect (sinless) to get into heaven. I tell them without your workbook to teach me, I would have never known the truth. About how once you begin to obey God’s Law, the law grows in your heart - He reveals more and more each day. I’m not a very smart person, but even I can see where this growth is leading. (Thank you Jesus). Anyway, here are a list of names and numbers. Please send them workbooks when you can. I am afraid none will send you stamps based on what I say. I’m sorry that I’m so ineffective. May the Lord help me with that. I’ve yet to lead someone to the truth. Do you know how many people have made the decision to cleans their temple so that God will dwell in them? I want you to know Ronald, without you, Jesus would not of reached me. Thank you for your diligent faith. You know Ron, I think Satan knows about you and is doing all he can to stop your ministry. I just have a feeling time is very short and you need to be careful. Your a powerful witness and losing you would be a great loss to us all. James, CO
Dear Brother Ron, I hope I find you doing well. As for me, I was finally released. I am now on parole staying with my family. I said I would write so here I am. I am currently working in a warehouse. As soon as I get my first check I’ll send my tithes and offerings. I am enclosing a Money Order. I will keep you up to date on the things I do out here. Luis, AZ It does my heart good to see inmates released and staying faithful to the Lord. Those who support this ministry with all their tithes and offerings are truly blessed. I have seen so much evidences of God’s love and blessings to those who support this little ministry with all their tithes and offerings that it boggles my mind. To close this month’s newsletter, I would like to share this letter with you. An inmate sent stamps for the book, "Change Your Life Biblically". It appears to have affected him greatly. He sent a letter to his 18 year old niece with one of our flyers suggesting that she ask us for a book so they could study by mail together. This is her letter to me: Ronald John, My name is Francisca and I’m 18 years old. I would like to know more about God. I have an uncle who is facing 2, 25 to life sentences and his name is Richard. He wants to teach me, but I need a book to help me in these hard times. He sent me this form which I’m sending to you for a free copy of "Change Your Life Biblically". I am indigent and can’t afford to pay you anything right now. Maybe when I get a summer job or something. I really would like a book even though I’m not in prison. Can you please send me one? I really would appreciate it if you can. Thank you for serving so many throughout the world that are in prison and in jail. There are some, however, who are out there in society who are in prison because of their sin. Your book can help set the captives free out here as well. Thank you Ronald for your time and consideration. Thank you for your sacrifices. Francisca, CA I want to thank each of you who have stood by this little ministry in supporting us as we support the work of God. We are almost out of debt thanks to you good folks. God has truly blessed this little ministry by providing us with such wonderful donors. May He bless you as you continue to bless us. Love in Christ, Ron The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace. Numbers 6:24-26 |
