PRAISE THE LORD
Prison Mission Report!
Dear Brothers and Sister in Christ,
Dear Ron,
Well, here are my answer sheets. Why do I have some "fear" about this. Truly I believe it’s because of the marvelous book you wrote and I don’t want to disappoint you. I am re-reading again just because I love it. Now I will dissect the Revelation chapters with every translation of Bibles I have so I can sit back and say, "Ya, I understand now". Thank you so, so, so much. I hope you received the envelopes I sent. Here are some more stamps. Boy, when I get out, you will have a loyal consistent supporter. Wow, the Sabbath. For years, my entire life, until last week, I celebrated Sunday as the Sabbath. But this week I will rectify another sinful thing in my life. Thank you. I am awed, if there is such a word, AWED. The research, time, commitment that went into this study shows a love of Jesus unsurpassed by any. Everyplace throughout this book states: Stop Sinning, Be perfect and obey the Ten Commandments as being "The Gospel", Jesus’ teachings, the Eternal gospel. I am so, so, so happy I found you and your book. You are the best thing that ever happened to me as you found a way for me to finally find our Lord.
Christine, CA
Well folks, I do appreciate the kind words that come my way. But I have to keep reminding folks that when I got out of prison, the Holy Spirit was sent to me and dictated and directed the book, "Change Your Life Biblically" to me. Then He told me to get it out to inmates. That is what I have been attempting to do ever since. But I can only do that as long as hearts are willing to sacrifice and help us financially. God needs us to do our part. Without our part, He can’t do His. It is a symbioses relationship. Each depending on the other for the salvation of man. God bless each and every one of you who has stood by us so faithfully over the years. All the inmates, whose lives have been changed, thank you. At this time we are $10,000 short from last year’s donations.
Dear JCPM,
I received your letter and would love to do your work book. Enclosed are 10 stamps. I thank you from the heart for the help you give to all of us.
Jon, CA
Hello,
A friend of mine let me read a book called, "Change Your Life Biblically". There was some pretty good stuff in there. But to be honest, it was kind of hard. I didn’t really get far in school. I’m 34 from East Los Angeles. I have been from a gang since I was 13 and been on drugs since 10. This is my 3rd time back in prison. To be honest, I am tired of this lifestyle. I got an easy to read Bible and yes, I accepted Christ. If you could send me a Bible study I would appreciate it.
Alfonso, CA
Ron,
Thank you for the letter. It’s always nice to hear from you. I got a new cellie last week and he was going to church out there but didn’t have a real relationship with God that comes from faith and obedience. I have spent all week telling him the importance of obedience to all Ten Commandments including the fourth. We are observing the Sabbath tonight. My cellie will be going to prison in a week or so and his wife will be getting a hold of you to order a couple of books. Thank you for sending a book to mom and brother. Mom believes there is a God, but has never been to church and has a hard time reading the Bible. She won’t put out the effort to seek Jesus in a real way. She is a reader and your book is easy to read and I pray she will read it. My brother tries to study, but so far is like most and believes in church and not God. Anything not mainstream is a "cult" to him. I pray he will read your book when he gets it and it wakes him up. I have read a lot of books and yours I found to be the truth. How can a person go wrong by stop sinning, obey the commandments, be perfect and obey the teachings of Jesus. I am a work in progress and I have you to thank. I know it is Jesus working through you, but still... When I pray each day I ask God to guide me to the truth and what it will take for me to be saved. I have a ways to go and can’t wait till the day I have your faith, dedication and knowledge.
Danny, CA
JCPM,
I have enjoyed doing this entire Bible study. There are so many things in this workbook I did not know. My eyes are more open now. Now I know what’s true and what’s not. I have learned a lot from this. Questions that I always asked myself since I was a teenager have all been answered in this workbook. I really appreciate your time and effort for the work you put into this and all the research you have done to make this work book available to myself and others. I know it is only through God that this was made possible but I can’t wait to get released from prison because I’m gonna take action with what I have learned from your workbook and ask some churches about what they teach and see how they respond.
Christian, FL
Jesus Christ Prison Ministry,
First of all, I want to thank you and let you know that you’re really appreciated for being obedient with God and fulfilling the calling He had on your lives to minister and shed light on His lost children throughout the unrighteous prison and county jail systems in the US. I recently came across your beautiful book of clarity, "Change Your Life Biblically". So far I’m intrigued and have to have my own to keep with me. The one I began was a fellow inmate of mine and he needs his book back. So, can you please send me my own beautiful book of clarity so I can finish the unrevealed truth.
Matthew, CA
Brother Ronald John,
How are you? I’m okay; just wanted to write a little. We have a new neighbor and he seems to have a receptive heart. So we sent him a copy of our "Change Your Life Biblically" book to read. We did our part. Only God can give the increase. My young neighbor Tony is doing good. I think he was upset at one of your letters but I explained to him that you’re like a sheep dog making sure that we don’t stray. I told him that it’s because you care about our salvation and he got over it. Plus, you write him more than his own family does. He’s made a lot of progress. He’s always studying. I’m going to pray that God sends you the stewards you need to keep the ministry strong. Thank you for all the encouraging letters these last few years. I was a wreck when I found your book. I had to search my heart and examine myself. I realized that I was serving two masters. My sinful life-style had caught up to me and it was time for God to chasten me. If I got what I deserved in life, I should of been dead. Thank God for His grace. I read something that really hit me last week. An author said that a man with a clear conscience has a bad memory. Anyways, here’s a couple stamps. I’m indigent and don’t really need them. Hopefully they can help get another one of your books into the hands of a lost or straying sheep.
Anthony, NV
Dear Ronald John,
You will be pleased to hear that I stopped Kvetching, that is a Yiddish or Hebrew word that means worrying, complaining, grumbling; and just turned the whole thing about this thing over to God. That way, I find that I accept these delays instead of griping and complaining. For I know that all things that God does will eventually work out to my benefit, although perhaps not in the way I expect it. You are absolutely right about choosing things to read that will increase my faith, belief and activity that pleases God. The continuous griping, complaining, worrying, grumbling of the children of Israel was not pleasing to God because it showed a lack of trust, belief, faith in His ability to do what He said He would do. I was copying them. I am happier now than I’ve been in a very long time.
Joseph, TX
Mr. Ronald John,
I am writing you this letter to request a copy of your "Change Your Life Biblically" book. When I was in county jail this last year, I ran into someone who had a copy and I would borrow it whenever I could, to read as much as I could while he and I were in the same unit together. I really enjoyed it. More than I thought I would. I’ve been working on having a relationship with God for many years now in and out of these prison walls. I sometimes have trouble understanding a lot of the Bible. I read the Bible a lot. But it is hard for me to grasp a lot of what it says. I would really enjoy your book because it’s written to where I can better understand its message. It offers proof as I can understand it, of the truth of the Bible. I am sending you a copy of a poem that I wrote pretty much about my life in a nutshell. It’s all I have to offer. I tell everyone I see about your book and I pass out all the applications that you send me to other inmates.
Carl, CA
WASTED TIME
It’s the time that I’ve wasted that I regret.
Spent in cold lonely places that I’d rather forget.
Just sitting and thinking about all that I’ve done;
The crying, the laughing, the hurt, and the fun.
Now it’s just me and my hard driven guilt.
Behind a wall of emptiness that I allowed to be built.
I’m trapped in my body, with no where to run,
Remembering my youth, with its laughter and fun.
But the chase is now over and there’s no where to hide,
Everything is gone, including my pride.
Now with reality suddenly here in my face,
I’m scared and alone and stuck in this place.
With memories of my past flashing through my head,
the pain is obvious by the tears that I shed.
I ask myself why and where I went wrong,
I guess I was weak, when I should’ve been strong.
As I lived for the high, and the wings I had grown,
My feelings were lost, afraid to be shown.
I pretend to be tough, so calm and so cool,
When I’m really just lost, like a blended ol’ fool.
I’m getting to old for this tiresome game,
Living a lifetime of heartache and shame.
It’s time that I change, and get on with my life,
Fulfilling my dream of a family and wife.
As I look back at my past, it’s easy to see,
That what I fear most is just being me.
Carl, CA
Dear Brother Ronald,
I want to thank you for writing me back so soon. Yes, I would like another set of answer sheets to try and take the test over again. I read "Change Your Life Biblically" twice. I will read a third time and study for the truth.
Jesse, CA
Ron,
Thank you for the book. It was with great pleasure that I received your book today. I cannot believe how fast it came to me. I was going to start reading it right away but my cellie suggested I thank you first. I also appreciated the chance to share with others who are sincere about wanting to learn the truths of the Bible and will pass the address on. My cellie has been sharing the interesting things he has been learning in his copy and it has taken me quite a bit of will power not to read his copy. Again, I want to say thank you and I can’t wait to get into it and see what the Bible really teaches.
Steve, CA
Dear Jesus Christ Prison Ministry,
One of my fellow inmates was sharing his copy of "Change Your Life Biblically" with me. I sure enjoyed reading it. I’m respectfully requesting you to please send me a copy of it.
Anthony, CA
To Whom it may Concern,
I just received your booklet from a friend. I want to say, I enjoyed reading it. If you send a copy of "Change Your Life Biblically" I would really enjoy it.
Mike, CA
Dear Ronald John,
I’m so happy to have received your letter and book marks. It made me feel so good to know that you care to write to God’s Children who are locked up. I’m 28 years old. I was raised in the mountains of North Carolina with all the beauty of God around me. I went to a private Christian school until the 8th grade. I was in the Boy Scouts until I was 15 years old. I was an altar boy for the Catholic Church for 6 years. But as all good stories must come to an end, so does mine. I stole some cars in a 3 month span or so. Then things really went bad. I thought I was somebody that could do anything and not get in trouble for it. And when I did get in trouble, I got "props" from my so called friends. I served 5 years and got out thinking I was on the right road as a good Catholic person. Then shortly after that I became homeless and got involved in more trouble. Now the Feds say I robbed a bank with a gun. It’s so good to have someone like you to write and help me with the Bible. There are some inmates here in county jail that may be writing you.
Joshua, GA
Dear Ron,
Here are my answer sheets. I truly hope they’re not to illegible to read. I truly put all my heart into these answers. I can say one thing for sure, since reading this book, I’ve quit going to service on Sunday. That’s a start. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and I’m wondering will there ever be another book that breaks down other books of the Old Testament/New Testament in great detail like this one did? I look forward to hearing from you. Until then take care. God bless.
John, UT
Dear Jesus Christ Prison Ministry,
My friend showed me a book of your ministry that I absolutely must have. Please, it is so informational about the kinds of things I need to know to make it to heaven. Please, with all faith, send it to me.
Santino, CA
Dear Brother John,
Thank you for responding to my request. I am sorry to say that I am indigent at this time. I would love to do the workbook, "Change Your Life Biblically". I have heard nothing but good about it. In the future if and when I am able to send you the stamps, I will. I also will be trying to spread the word of your program to as many as I can.
Scott, CA
Brother Ron,
It was a pleasure to receive your letter, especially since I don’t get much mail. Yes, I am enjoying the workbook. I’ve done a lot of different studies, but never have I come across anything like this. I would like to complete the worksheets and mail them in to be graded, but I’m in no rush because I would like to learn as much as I can. If it’ll help, I could send you a few stamps every once in a while. I wish I could send money for a donation, but unfortunately I don’t have any. I would like to thank you and your ministry for this workbook and helping me to open my eyes to the real truth. I can now live the perfect life of obedience and love.
Darrin, FL
Ronald John,
I am humbly requesting your workbook. I have 11 years to do. I am a drop out from being a skinhead and am trying to make some "major" changes in my attitude and life. I am indigent and humbly request that you overlook it and allow me to participate in your program. I appreciate everything you do for so many people and just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Thomas, CA
Dear JCPM,
I was sent the workbook, "Change Your life Biblically" 2 months ago while I was in the county jail. I gave it to another new Christian that is a new believer. I’m sending you $5 in stamps so that I may receive another workbook for myself. Thank you very much,
Daryl, CA
Dear Brother Ron,
I would have written sooner, but I wanted to wait until I reached my destination, where I will be for the next year or more. Well, my old cellmate has already received one of your books, "Change Your Life Biblically". And I in return received the opportunity to review its contents of literature. I think it’s wonderful. However, I only received a taste and my soul is now craving for the entire spiritual meal that it possesses. I would like to receive my own book. Please Ron, I really need this book for I have just begun a 9 year sentence. I wish to do each day with this book and the Lord. Well, thank your beautiful soul for the time and energy spent.
Juan, CA
Brother Ron,
I’m writing this in regards to asking for a book you have called, "Change Your Life Biblically". I’m just starting to try harder into changing my life style. I’ve just begun my spiritual path. I read the Bible each day. I’m trying to find where I fit into with our Lord. I’ve been a sinner my whole life so yes, this is a hard road for me.
Raf, CA
Dear JCPM,
I received your address from a pen pal who I write to. I’m not sure where they got it, but God put us together for a reason. So I’m asking if you could send me this workbook called, "Change Your Life Biblically". It would sure give me something to do while being locked up.
Richard, OR
Dear JCPM,
Please help me change my life and learn more about the Lord. Please send me a free "Change Your Life Biblically". I am a drug addict and a single mother who sold drugs to support my family and my habit. My whole family is drug addicted, including my 75 year old mother who will still smoke crack if given the chance. Please pray for us.
Marcella, UT
Director: Ronald John,
At this moment I’m very indigent because I’m without a program and don’t have any outside contact at all. A good Christian friend told me about your book and how it could change my life and world around. I have 5 stamps at this moment and am working on the rest, because this is something I need in my life now. I passed out the information about your book. But people don’t believe until they see the change.
Richard, NY
Dear Ron,
Thanks for writing back. God bless you. I wish I would have found ya’ll earlier, then I could be working for God’s people and doing His work. By the way, I got the book the next day, praise the Lord. He is really blessing me. He has calmed me down. I don’t worry. Because I know He won’t give me anything I don’t deserve. Plus, now when I pray, it’s different. Like live on the phone with God. I hope I don’t sound crazy, but when I’m tempted to break a law, I just pray and it goes away. Praise God. I never knew God like this. Thanks so much for writing such a great book. God has truly blessed us with a true teacher like yourself. You are the first person I ever met that loves a stranger as God does in the Bible. You are a great example of the way and walk that we can all be and do. I try harder and harder every day. Yes, other people have wrote to you and asked me for the pamphlets so I’ve given them out. Almost every day three of us get together and talk about God and what we have read that day. And I’m always trying to show people in the Bible about the Sabbath day. I’m so proud to be on the right road now. I just want every one to feel as I do.
Joshua, GA
Dear Brother Ron,
It’s always good to hear from you. I can’t wait to get out and meet you in person. I’ve been having a problem with convincing guys you can be perfect, sinless, so now it makes more sense, and also have a hard time with the Law because of Galatians, Hebrews and most of all the footnotes at the bottom of the pages where they teach you can’t keep the Law. Saved by grace, etc., etc. My cellie is stuck on the 2 new commandments. It’s frustrating for me, but at least I plant the seed and he is always thinking about it even if it is to try and prove me wrong. He promised me he and his girl will get your book. I feel the growth in me big time. The strides I’ve made over the past year have been huge and I know the next year will even be better.
Danny, CA
Dear Mr. John,
I have been locked up for 14 months now. The jail I’m in keeps us locked down 22 hours a day. There are no books to read. I don’t have a Bible. Sometimes I get to borrow one but not for long. I’m trying so hard to get my life on track with God. But it seems the harder I try the more there is out there to stop me. It would be nice to be put on your mailing list. I don’t get any other mail and it’s so nice to get mail to let me know someone in the world still cares about me. If you can find it in your heart to send me a workbook, It would mean so much. Thank you.
Jeff, GA
Hi Ron,
I did get some terrible news last week. My sister committed suicide. I was totally shocked. It’s a sad situation. It really gets me angry and upset. I guess mainly that I haven’t been able to convey the importance of seeking the true God and how important it is to realize there is a spiritual war going on that we don’t realize. So many things happening that we don’t understand unless we really study God’s Word and believe. We’ve got Satan getting control of our minds so many different ways: through drugs, alcohol, television and the media. No wonder he is called the prince of the power of the air. The airwaves are filled with his deceptions and garbage. Anything to keep us from seeking God’s truth. He has corrupted the internet, radio, music, and caused so many people to be confused, depressed - all negativity. It makes me sick when I see all these popular religions teaching falsely, corrupting God’s true word, causing confusion and doubt in people. Little do the preachers realize most are doing Satan’s work for him. Teaching contrary to God’s word, especially the Sabbath and that we don’t have to obey God’s laws. Can anyone really imagine living in a lawless society? People are caught up in all these celebrity controversies, these TV. shows, all kinds of sporting events, the political debates and any way we can keep ourselves entertained. It’s really sad.
Peter, IL
Brother Ronald John,
Sorry it took so long to write back. Our new neighbor is a believer. The reason we let him read a little of your book is because we wanted to see if he is sincerely seeking God’s will for his life. Or, just going through the motions. That dorm stuff is a good thing. It’s an excellent extension of the ministry. It will help train and give character to the men that are genuinely seeking God’s face. But like you said, "not everyone is ready to surrender all." Show them where the river is at, that’s all we can do. It’s up to them to drink. I remember my twenties and thirties. I only wanted Jesus to be Lord of parts of my life too. All the pursuit of worldly things only showed me how selfish and greedy I really was. That’s why I’ve been in prison most of my life. It was only after I witnessed a homicide a few years ago that I realized what a hypocrite I was. There is a lot of work to do here in this prison system. Sometimes what was intended as evil, God uses for God.
Anthony, NV
Dear Ronald John,
It truly has become a pleasure to be able to hear from you. I thank God for the way He has placed you as an instrument in souls lives like my own, to grow in the likeliness of Christ Jesus. I honestly appreciate you sharing with me that you yourself have experienced persecution. In thinking clearly or after reading your awesome book twice, I wouldn’t doubt it. I expected upon receiving Christ into my life a well tested road ahead. But, never much by "those" who claim the "Name". Boy, I tell you, though the experience has been tough I wouldn’t trade it for the world and some. For the truth of the Lord has set right in my heart giving me hope for a new and better life to come in paradise. I like your sense of humor and words of encouragement. A young guy like me truly picks up instruction when it’s obviously coming from the right spirit. You know what’s funny, or interesting, is that for a long time I’ve been craving ice cream. For a while I’ve craved it so much I bring it up often around the guys here. Ice cream this and ice cream that. I even came up with a name for my own ice cream store, "Giggles & Smooth". Then you write talking about, "Are you telling me that life isn’t as smooth as ice cream in there?" It made me smile with your smile.
Frankie, CA
This ministry is still in need of a young man to come and give his life to Jesus working in this ministry. Is there an inmate soon to parole or a person wondering what to do with his life?
Love in Christ,
Ron
