"Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Does he not leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it?... there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent."
Luke 15:4, 7

Pug-behindneewsletters

Then the righteous will answer him, "Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and cloth you? when did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?" The King will reply,  "I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine you did for me." Matthew 25:37-40

PRAISE THE LORD

Prison Mission Report!

Juber's Kids

An Inmate’s Story

Hi Ronald John...Its me Juber Saenz...I have the Certificate of Achievement from you dated 11-12-2007...I hope you remember me...The last letters you wrote to me you told me to contact you from El Salvador...Well, I just got off your web site and, just read the history of the ministry...about how you got a computer and did not know how to use it...I am going through that myself right now...I received my certificate when I was in FCI Victorville Adelanto...The 15th of October was the first year of being here in El Salvador...I haven’t been able to get a job yet...But what I have been doing is visiting the prisons over here to share the gospel with them...and also working with needed children...I would love to do more but you know what is needed to continue...I felt in my heart and being guided by the Holy Spirit to contact you...I remember you telling me that you would help me out, my desire is to serve the Lord...Have you translated the book into Spanish? I can enter into the prisons in El Salvador..

A little bit about me...I was born in Estanzuelas Usulutan El Salvador...When I was 4 yrs old. My mom died of cancer a few months later. 2 of my brothers were tortured and killed, one was 15 and the other one was 18...and a few months after my brothers death my dad had a car accident and also died...Within one year I lost mom dad and my 2 brothers...At the age of 8 I was taken to the US...Lived there for 25yrs, For one felony I get deported...Now I find myself here in a new place for me...I have faith that JCPM can have an office here in El Salvador and also impact the lives of the inmates here and in all Central America...As is doing in the US...I can teach them basic English and

then go through the book with a group of inmates...But if you have it in Spanish it would be much better...Each time I would visit the prison take the books and read with them and then collect them after...I am saying this because I don’t know how many can the Lord provide for us here in El Salvador...I would love to receive you Ronald John or a rep. of JCPM here in El Salvador to begin the ministry here....

I hope to hear from you soon....Remember the 7th day to keep it Holy...God bless...

Juber, El Salvador

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Folks, we need your help. Juber is setting up a branch office of JCPM in El Salvador. None of us have any salaries or incomes. We are simply stepping out in faith. He is going to prisons and helping gang members change their lives and leave the gangs. He is helping Juan translate the material into Spanish.

You can see from the pictures his home and kitchen. Folks he needs a real home to operate from. The children in the pictures are from his neighborhood. He is giving Bible studies to them and their parents. For about $300 a month we could rent him a real home to carry on the Lord’s work.

Funds are needed to print the books in Spanish. Equipment, paper, ink and other supplies are needed. Please help us help him. God bless you as "you have done to the least of these."  Jesus

Dear Brothers and Sister in Christ

"Singleness of purpose, wholehearted devotion to God, is the condition pointed out by the Saviour’s words. Let the purpose be sincere and unwavering to discern the truth and to obey it at whatever cost, and you will receive divine enlightenment. Real piety begins when all compromise with sin is at an end. Then the language of the heart will be that of the apostle Paul: "This one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." "I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ." Philippians 3:13, 14, 8.

"But when the eye is blinded by the love of self, there is only darkness. "If thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness." It was this fearful darkness that wrapped the Jews in stubborn unbelief, making it impossible for them to appreciate the character and mission of Him who came to save them from their sins.

"Yielding to temptation begins in permitting the mind to waver, to be inconstant in your trust in God. If we do not choose to give ourselves fully to God then we are in darkness. When we make any reserve we are leaving open a door through which Satan can enter to lead us astray by his temptations. He knows that if he can obscure our vision, so that the eye of faith cannot see God, there will be no barrier against sin.

"The prevalence of a sinful desire shows the delusion of the soul. Every indulgence of that desire strengthens the soul’s aversion to God. In following the path of Satan’s choosing, we are encompassed by the shadows of evil, and every step leads into deeper darkness and increases the blindness of the heart.

"The same law obtains in the spiritual as in the natural world. He who abides in darkness will at last lose the power of vision. He is shut in by a deeper than midnight blackness; and to him the brightest noontide can bring no light. He "walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes." 1 John 2:11. Through persistently cherishing evil, willfully disregarding the pleadings of divine love, the sinner loses the love for good, the desire for God, the very capacity to receive the light of heaven. The invitation of mercy is still full of love, the light is shining as brightly as when it first dawned upon his soul; but the voice falls on deaf ears, the light on blinded eyes.

"No soul is ever finally deserted of God, given up to his own ways, so long as there is any hope of his salvation. "Man turns from God, not God from him." Our heavenly Father follows us with appeals and warnings and assurances of compassion, until further opportunities and privileges would be wholly in vain. The responsibility rests with the sinner. By resisting the Spirit of God today, he prepares the way for a second resistance of light when it comes with mightier power. Thus he passes on from one stage of resistance to another, until at last the light will fail to impress, and he will cease to respond in any measure to the Spirit of God. Then even "the light that is in thee" has become darkness. The very truth we do know has become so perverted as to increase the blindness of the soul." {MB 91-93}

Dear Ronald John,

More good news! The Veterans Pension was approved! Not only approved, but for double what I was told to expect! Now, to the most important information...I had not been reading my Bible since my release, but as of yesterday began a regular scheduled Bible study. Instead of trying to be a good Christian, I realized that I have to empty myself of "self" and ask Jesus to fill me with His holy nature. Unless I let Him do with me as He wishes, I become a useless vessel, unable to accomplish anything but my own sorrow and loss. Yesterday, I couldn’t even remember the name of the Prophet who on Mount Carmel asked God to light the fire of his offering, and God did. Then he destroyed the hundred worshipers of Baal, who couldn’t light their offering. This morning I remember that it was Elijah, although my Bible readings were in Acts and Job. The reading of SCI-FI escape literature had almost erased the Holy literature that is able to give me escape from my sins.

Sincerely,

Joseph, TX

(A parolee who read the book, "Change Your Life Biblically" while in prison and succeeded in getting off parole . God is blessing him. Even though he only gets about $800 a month, he is faithful in supporting this, God’s ministry, each month with his full tithes and offerings. God is blessing him as he blesses this ministry. That is what Jesus says, as we do to the least, this ministry is least, He will do to us. God bless all of you who have been so faithful each month in supporting us with your full tithes and offerings. It is the only way we can continue to do the work required of us by God.)

Dear Family in Christ,

God continue to bless the work of your hands as He never ceases to add to His kingdom. Especially through this powerful book, "Change Your Life Biblically". I had the absolute privilege to look through this wonderful blessing and decided I, as a 30 year old young man who wants nothing more but to be used by God in mighty way, had to have this blessing. So here I am writing to request my very own copy of "Change Your Life Biblically".

Luke, CA

Hello,

This is a letter of request if it may be possible. I was told that you offer a Bile study to inmates. If possible, may I be enrolled in it? I do need help with Christ’s Spirit.

Roy, CA

Hello,

I was reading the book, "Change Your Life Biblically" from another inmate. I would like to get my own to read and write in. There was plenty of info that I was interested in.

Albert, CA

Hi,

My name is Richard. I am 24 years old and a buddy of mine let me check out your study. I liked it and would like to receive one. I’d really put it to use. I really want to educate myself on the Bible and walk the fine walk Jesus walked.

Richard, CA

Dear Ronald,

I’m writing this letter to inform you that I received your letter and a couple of days thereafter I received the book, "Change Your Life Biblically". Thank you for sending it to me. I’ve done many Bible studies through the mail, but I can honestly confess that your study is unique and very much informative. I have just began reading, studying, meditating on the given scriptures and references and they have given me some tremendous amount of enlightenment. My hunger for the knowledge of the truth will be met as I continue to read your book. This book is put together like no other book I’ve ever read before.

Salvador, TX

To Jesus Christ Prison Ministry,

I am interested in your Bible study. I am an indigent inmate. Please send me the book study. I heard about it from a friend. Thank you ahead of time for sending me all the information and book to study. Also, another friend told me about this study also.

David, CA

Dear JCPM,

I wanted to write you and let you know I received "Change Your Life Biblically". Thank you very much. I just started reading and will keep you posted. I wanted to take the time to thank you personally and say God bless you. I’m putting down what I know about the Bible and Jesus Christ and starting over. Thank you and I will put your flyers out where people can get them.

Marc, CA

Dear Ronald,

Thank you for your positive words of encouragement, prayers and above all else, your devotion to bringing people closer to Christ. I also very much appreciate you giving me the opportunity to contact you when I am released. I truly believe that if we all stick together in these troubling times and lend helping hands to those in need, we could make the ability to survive all the more easier. I will always have open ears to the true words of wisdom. I am enclosing more stamped envelopes. A Christian brother in this dorm is interested in reading and studying your book with me. Although it hasn’t arrived yet, I have faith it will. I acquired more stamped envelopes and would like to use them to get this gentleman a book. I am also enclosing three extra for the kind correspondences you have sent me. Although my abilities are slightly limited by my current state of living, if there is ever anything I can do to assist you, please let me know.

Mark, CA

Dear Sirs,

I would like to thank you for the opportunity to grow in the word of God through your book and program. I will be studying your book with other inmates here with me at this prison. I also would like to take part in the ministry after I complete the studies and get my certificates.

Rickie, CA

Hello,

I am writing to you because I would like a copy of "Change Your Life Biblically" with the workbook as well as any new stuff you may have out. Please I really need a copy. I got a chance to look one over for a few days before the guy who had it chained out. I’ve always felt like we should put away all sin. I’m not OK with sin and everyone around me seems to be. I need your help with my walk to live my life as Jesus said to. I’m ready, please guide me and give me the tools. I would love to read your workbook and do the test. I’m very open to what you have to say.

Jonathan, TX

To My Brothers in Christ,

I am writing you to ask for a copy of "Change Your Life Biblically". I was reading a friends when I was moved to another prison. He gave me this address and told me you could help me to obtain my own copy.

Michael, CA

Dear God’s Servant,

I am writing in hopes that you will send me a copy of your publication, "Change Your Life Biblically". I hope that it is free because I am indigent.

Gregory, IN

Dear Mr. Ronald John,

I am writing you this letter to ask you a favor. I am currently in prison. I want to live my life for Jesus. I was informed of your book, "Change Your Life Biblically". I would like to request a copy of it. I would really appreciate it if you could send me your book. Also, my wife is currently seeking employment. My prayer request is that she finds employment. We also have a newborn son.

Richard, CA

Dear Ronald John,

I just recently sent an envelope to you with 13 stamped envelopes and a letter. In the letter I informed you that your book had not yet arrived. I am sending this as a letter of confirmation. Today your book arrived. Thanks be to God. Not only did it make me smile just to see it in it’s package, but to actually open it up and hold it as my very own book to study was certainly exciting and refreshing. I very much look forward to reading, studying and applying it’s information. Thank you again. You do a true service for the Lord. I very much appreciate all you have done for me and am at anytime prepared to aid the ministry in any way I can.

Mark, CA

Dear Jesus Christ Prison Ministry,

Thank you so much for responding to my letter. Here are the 10 stamps for the work book, plus some extra stamps to help with someone who may not be able to send stamps. It’s not much, but please use them. I really look forward to starting in the workbook.

Johnny, CA

Brother Ronald John,

Thank yo so much for responding to my letter and info. I truly do what I can. I give out your fliers wherever I am able to. But I am very limited as I am a drop-out. I am housed in an active gang housing unit. So I don’t get much in the way of conversation. I get a lot of crazy looks. But if they spoke to me I would certainly give testimony. In fact my neighbor Danny just wrote you. He is doing life and just dropped out of a gang a couple of years ago and I have been encouraging him. He is indigent so if you could spare a CYLB book for him, that would be awesome.

Joseph, CA

Dear Brother Ron,

I have moved yet once again. I was sad to leave my brothers. Things here are all right. The weather is extremely hot. I’ve noticed two individuals whom I sat with a few times for chow and there always talking about the Bible. So maybe tomorrow I could join their conversation and see where these guys’ heads at.

Jesse, CA

Dear Ron,

On account of all the great reviews you receive, in regards to your book, needless to say, I found it to be very insightful and concise in terms of teaching us the true message of God. I learned a lot and will read it on end until I have it embedded in my memory banks fully, whether or not I passed the test.

David, CA

Dear Brother Ron,

Well, I write to you in response to the last letter I’ve gotten from you because you were correct about your opinion of me about me always fighting against everything. This is something I once took pride in, but now I can honestly say, " am ashamed" because 99% of my problems have come from this same pride. Lately I’ve been focusing on ridding myself of all the anger and rage I’ve gathered over the years and replace it with peace and kindness. I am really willing to do whatever it takes to get right with the creator and to do His will and go in the direction He has planned for me. Brother Ron, I want to thank you for always being honest with me and for being patient with me in my moment of weakness.

Alexander, IL

Greetings,

I am currently incarcerated. I ran across your information and I realized that I would really like to change my life in a biblical way. I would also like to receive your newsletter if it’s not a problem. In this place it is so easy to get caught up in the wrong crowd and then be driven by hate. I really don’t want that life anymore. I’ve realized there is more to life than just some big game. You’ve got to value it so that it will take you to prosperous places. I’ve decided that instead of getting myself involved with all the bad people, I’d rather learn everything I can so that I can better myself and apply it to my everyday life.

Jason, MO

Hello Brother John,

I just received your book. It took so long to receive. (It was sent 4 months earlier.) But now that I received it, I’m reading it slowly but surely so I can have a clear understanding. Once I hear from my family and I get blessed with the 10 stamps, I’ll make sure to send them your way. I have been receiving your mail. I’ll write back and say what I’m learning in this wonderful book.

Villasenor, CA

Brother Ron,

Just finished reading Jesus Christ Prison Ministry newsletter. Enjoying it and it lightened my heart to read about others in my same situation like you once have been. I needed some hope about then and now. I’m reading "Change Your Life Biblically" very slowly. A lot of information. I pretty much burnt all my bridges this time out. I’m tired and want Jesus to change my heart, mind, body and soul. I’ve been into your book: good stuff. I just read self control. Heavy stuff. Your biblically book is opening my eyes big time. And I can even understand things where I was buffaloed before. Now I’m finding I’m spending more time in your ministry’s book. It’s like I want to know more.

Marc, CA

Hi,

I have a fellow inmate, Heather, that has the "Change Your Life Biblically" book. She has been sharing with a few of us. I have read some and I am very interested in it. Please send me a copy.

Keyanna, IN

Ron,

I’m a friend in Christ. I’ve recently moved in with Dan and he has been helping me a great deal in my walk. Recently I’ve been reading "Change Your Life Biblically". I enjoy it very much so could you please send me a copy.

Ron, CA

To Whom It May Concern,

I am currently in a Correctional Institution. I am interested in the book, "Change Your Life Biblically". If you are more than kind, can you please send it to me along with the answer sheets so I can later get a certificate.

Jonathan, CA

Dear Mr. Ronald John,

There is a Christian brother by the name of David that has told me of your study course. I would like to take it please. I am a baby Christian in Christ and would like to know more about the Word of God. I feel that you can never know enough about the Word of God.

James, FL

Dear Jesus Christ Prison Ministry,

I’m a new inmate to the system. I’m kind of having a tuff time. I’ve never been away from my family or even been in jail before. Well, one of my cellies told me about a book from your ministry, "Change Your Life Biblically". He told me it would help and talk about God and prison. So I ask you if I could please get a copy.

Fidel, CA

Dear JCPM Brother,

I’ve been reading the "Change Your Life Biblically" and am thankful that I’ve received it. I would just like your opinions on a few things. I never was convinced that going to a man-made worship hall was the way to salvation. Thanks for enforcing my ideas. I know that the collection plates are a scam. I would have also said the "Church Channels" were also not of divine reason. Thanks for all of your support and encouragement. It means so much and God bless you for all you have done and are to do. I have finished first reading of volume I and am hooked. Thank God.

Gordon, CA

Dear Ron,

I did receive the book this time. Thanks. It is a wonderful book. You sent it even though I had nothing to give and it was my third copy in 7 years. It doesn’t seem to matter how many times I read "Change Your Life Biblically", it always seems to open my understanding a little bit each time. Your book has been the master key to understanding God’s Word. I so wish I had found it sooner in life. Thank you so much for all you do for us and especially me.

James, CO

"All who give evidence of true conversion should be encouraged to work for others. Let none turn away a soul who leaves the service of Satan for the service of Christ. When one gives evidence that the Spirit of God is striving with him, present every encouragement for entering the Lord’s service. "Of some have compassion, making a difference." Jude 22. Those who are wise in the wisdom that comes from God will see souls in need of help, those who have sincerely repented, but who without encouragement would hardly dare to lay hold of hope. The Lord will put it into the hearts of His servants to welcome these trembling, repentant ones to their loving fellowship. Whatever may have been their besetting sins, however low they may have fallen, when in contrition they come to Christ, He receives them. Then give them something to do for Him. If they desire to labor in uplifting others from the pit of destruction from which they themselves were rescued, give them opportunity. Bring them into association with experienced Christians, that they may gain spiritual strength. Fill their hearts and hands with work for the Master.

"When light flashes into the soul, some who appeared to be most fully given to sin will become successful workers for just such sinners as they themselves once were. Through faith in Christ some will rise to high places of service and be entrusted with responsibilities in the work of saving souls. They see where their own weakness lies, they realize the depravity of their nature. They know the strength of sin, the power of evil habit. They realize their inability to overcome without the help of Christ, and their constant cry is, ‘I cast my helpless soul on Thee.’

"These can help others. The one who has been tempted and tried, whose hope was well-nigh gone, but who was saved by hearing a message of love, can understand the science of soul saving. He whose heart is filled with love for Christ because he himself has been sought for by the Saviour and brought back to the fold, knows how to seek the lost. He can point sinners to the Lamb of God. He has given himself without reserve to God and has been accepted in the Beloved. The hand that in weakness was held out for help has been grasped. By the ministry of such ones many prodigals will be brought to the Father." {MH 178-9}

Dear Sir,

A dear friend of mine showed me a Bible study that I would appreciate that you would send me. I understand that you want some stamps for this Bible study. At this time I am indigent, but when I get some stamps I will send you. Please send this Bible study that breaks down the traditions of the Bible.

Malik, LA

Hey Ron,

God bless you guys. Isn’t God so good to us? Like I was telling you about the lady here. Her name is Sharon. God bless her. She is really serious about reading the book and obeying it. I am so glad. And I hope it will bring encouragement to you guys too. Thanks Ron so much. What joy it brings to know one more person has accepted God’s plan in his/her life. As a child she grew up in the Methodist Church.

Now it seems after reading the book she is learning that living the Christian life is not about going to church but about applying the Christian principles to our lives by helping others around us and doing all the good we can wherever we are. She will be starting school very soon to become a social worker. I told her that she will be very successful as she continues to read and obey "CYLB". Please pray for her. We know how rare it is for someone on the outside of prison to accept the Lord’s teachings and to live it. God bless,

Juan (non-inmate)

Dear Brother Ronald,

I received the study book "Change Your Life Biblically" today. Thank you Ronald. Let me be honest with you. I would like nothing more than to be in the service of Jesus Christ Prison Ministry. But I don’t feel worthy to be honored to have such a place. I have 28 years left to go on a 40 year sentence. I am going through the stages of being abandoned by my family. I realized that the only way that I would live and enjoy to joy in life is through Jesus Christ. I am tired of living in a blank state of not living life.

Gilbert, TX

Ronald,

Thank you for this opportunity to introduce myself. This is my first time in prison and I do not have no income. My mother past away before I came to prison and my father past while in prison. I would like to start on my workbook and receive a certificate. Sorry for my indigence.

Fred, CA

Folks, in this newsletter you will read about Juber who read the book while in prison, paroled and was deported to El Salvador. There he has been working to set up a branch mission station for JCPM. We need your help to help him get it started. He needs equipment and supplies and a place to operate from. He is going to the prisons and doing a mighty work for Jesus in bringing inmates and neighbors to Jesus. We want to set up a training camp there to train young men to go to surrounding nations to set up more mission stations. Your help is needed.

God bless you and I think you for your love and support of this tiny, little ministry.

Love to all of you form,

Juan, Juber and myself
