"Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Does he not leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it?... there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent."
Luke 15:4, 7

Prison Mission Report!

Dear Brothers and Sister in Christ,

"To prevent disease from spreading to the body and destroying life, a man would submit to part even with his right hand. Much more should he be willing to surrender that which imperils the life of the soul. Through the gospel, souls that are degraded and enslaved by Satan are to be redeemed to share the glorious liberty of the sons of God. God’s purpose is not merely to deliver from the suffering that is the inevitable result of sin, but to save from sin itself. The soul, corrupted and deformed, is to be purified, transformed, that it may be clothed in "the beauty of the Lord our God," "conformed to the image of His Son." "Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him." Psalm 90:17; Romans 8:29; 1 Corinthians 2:9. Eternity alone can reveal the glorious destiny to which man, restored to God’s image, may attain.

"In order for us to reach this high ideal, that which causes the soul to stumble must be sacrificed. It is through the will that sin retains its hold upon us. The surrender of the will is represented as plucking out the eye or cutting off the hand. Often it seems to us that to surrender the will to God is to consent to go through life maimed or crippled. But it is better, says Christ, for self to be maimed, wounded, crippled, if thus you may enter into life. That which you look upon as disaster is the door to highest benefit." {MB 60-61}

An inmate sent me the following story. I don’t know if it is true, but the thought was a good one.

A train was approaching a small town and the conductor saw a man on the side of the track frantically waiving a flag. The conductor slowed the train down and when he neared the intersection he noticed the traffic wasn’t stopped for the train. The conductor realized that he was not going to be able to stop before the train would collide with the crossing traffic. He jumped from the train. The train collided with the traffic causing much destruction.

When the investigators interviewed the conductor they wanted to know why he had not stopped for the red flag. The conductor explained that the flag which was waived was a yellow flag which means to slow down. He followed the rules and slowed down.

The investigators went and located the flag. Sure enough it was yellow. However, the flag had been stored improperly and had been exposed to the elements of the weather. Over many years the "red" flag had gradually faded from red to yellow. No one had noticed the change until it was too late.

So it is with our churches today. Over the years they have eroded by gradual exposure to the world. They no longer teach the teachings of Jesus: Stop Sinning, Be Perfect and to Keep the Ten Commandments in order to get our eternal life.

How many lives will be lost because the bright red flag of truth has been eroded by human errors? How many "teachers" of the law will be eternally lost for destroying those they have taught with human opinions and worldly doctrines?

Hi Ron,

Thank you for putting up my web page. Have you gotten any feedback from the guys who have web pages? Have they mentioned any good pen-pals from the outside? Thank you for the compliment on my growth. I have a check from a lawsuit that mom should be getting any day. I don’t know how much yet, but I plan to send something your way from that. That Voice of Prophecy study is simple. It has some good heart warming stories and some good points, but they don’t mention obedience anywhere in it. All feel good stuff. I just do them for repetition on Daniel & Revelation. Do you have any of your books in Spanish? My celly is a good kid but can’t read English. If you have one can you send him one and I’ll send you the stamps soon. I have a couple guys at dayroom now to share and study with. One has your book. I’ve explained to him to get rid of all the Kenneth Copeland Sunday worship stuff and stick with the Commandment keeping stuff. He is reading the Conflict of the Ages series with me.

Danny, CA

Hi,

I just received your address from a friend. He told of your series. I would like information to receive this.

John, CA

Dear JCPM,

I was informed by a friend regarding your free book entitled, "Change Your Life Biblically". I was given sometime to check it out. It really opened my eyes and answered a lot of questions that I had for years. It’s truly an amazing book and praise God He’s blessed you guys with the power to distribute it. God is Good. I would love to receive my own copy so please will you do me the favor.

Situe, CA

Dear Brother Ronald John,

I am requesting the workbook, "Change Your Life Biblically". I am sending 10 stamps. I am a Christian and am serving 22 years. I already did 13 years. Brother Ronald John, thank you for the wonderful work for Christ you are doing.

Manuel, CA

Dear Brother Ronald,

I thank you for writing me back. I would like to be real with you. I have no one on the streets. I was looking at your newsletter and I thought that it was a free study book. Maybe in the near future I may be able to get some stamps. I tried everything in my life to get close to God and I can’t find the right ministry. I’ve been with the Lord off and on with Christ since 1990 when I was 22 years old and am no closer to the Lord.

Hillman, CA

Dear Jesus Christ Prison Ministry,

One time during Sunday services, our chaplain told us about your program and how you send Bible study assignments that we complete and mail back to you. Once the assignments are completed we receive a certificate. I am very much interested in receiving the Bible study assignment from your ministry.

David, IA

Jesus Christ Prison Ministry,

I am writing to request the book, "Change Your Life Biblically". My cellie has a copy and I found it very interesting. Enclosed you will find the 10 envelopes needed in order cover the book’s shipping. I am not that well off financially, but my celly was kind enough to help me out by supplying half of the envelopes. I want to thank you and I hope that God blesses each and every one of you.

Rogelio, CA

Ron,

I’m finding more and more opportunities to minister to other inmates. This gives me a great thrill to help them understand properly. I have so many people mention to me about all these programs and teachings of well known evangelists like Kenneth Copeland, Joel Olsteen, Joyce Meyers, John Hagee and so many more. I have to straighten them out. There is some good teaching in their words, but it is mixed in with so many lies and deceptions. How they don’t follow or teach God’s Word exactly as it is written. It is so evident by them not acknowledging the Sabbath. There are so many people that they have convinced of their doctrine. I watch the news all the time. I am totally amazed that without any solutions to so many problems people don’t even consider the Lord’s involvement. Our disobedience is catching up with us. Watching all this and seeing things happening, all the confusion, really makes me long for the Lord to come and set up His government. With all this going on, I still stay very encouraged in the Lord. I get tested continually by my cellie. He says he is trying to figure out either Islam or Christianity. But it seems to me he’s got his mind made up for now. He seems to think Allah and the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are one and the same. The answer to his question is right there. God is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, not Abraham and Ishmael. It is such a help for me. It really gets me searching.

Peter, IL

Hi Ron,

Your book has been very inspirational to me and has helped me to learn more about Jesus’ life and how we should live than any other study I have done. I share the chapters with my wife through the mail. I am going through it a third time and still finding things that help me in my Christian walk. It really helped me to understand Daniel and Revelation which are very prophetic and speak in illustrations. Thank you for writing it. I will keep in touch now that I am done with the book test.

Joseph, CA

Dear Ron,

I am sending you a check from my account for $5 in regards of the workbook of the ministry of Jesus Christ. I would like you to send the workbook to me here at the prison. I love working in the ministry of Jesus Christ. There is not a day that goes by that I am not reading in my Scriptures or praying to my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ for guidance and direction.

Jed, UT

Dear Friends,

I am a life inmate. I am also a Christian serving our Lord any way He directs me. While in the Chapel Library yesterday I ran across a book called, "Change Your Life Biblically". Is this a Bible study you offer? If so, I would like to enroll.

Thomas, CA

To Whom it May Concern,

I am writing to you in regards to your workbook, "Change Your Life Biblically". I would really like to receive your book very much. I have done many years behind these old dark dreary walls. I’m trying my best to walk in the life of a soldier in Christ. As you know prisons are the devil’s playground. But I also know that the love of Christ that is in us if we are in Him will come shining through. Brother, I would love to receive your study book. I know it will no doubt answer some questions I have and give me a good insight on how to arm myself against Satan and all the evil, pain and hatred of the lost souls in here. I wish to rise above all this and to help and lead my fellow inmates to the Lord if I can.

John, CA

Dear Ron,

Hi my friend. I haven’t written you for so long but have thought about you many times and meant to write but funds were scarce and my wife took precedence over all my letters. But I’ve had a lot change over the last couple years. I’ve been all the way through "Change Your Life Biblically". I really enjoyed it so I gave your flyers out all over the prison I was in and even saw a few of the guys get the book and newsletters. Now there is a whole new prison for me to share God with and promote your book at my services I go to. So I just thought I’d touch bases with you again and let you know how things have changed and say "God bless you for being a light in both me and my wife".

Joseph, OR

Dear Brother Ron,

I’m causing a bit of a stir in my Bible study group. So many don’t want to hear the truth. During one meeting I pointed out that in Hebrews it indicates that Jesus died for us only once and after that there is no other sacrifice for our sins. That practically caused an uproar. One guy even said, "I’m always going to be a sinner." I couldn’t believe it. I’m eventually probably going to be asked to leave. But I’ll see how it goes. Slim and I started a Bible study when we come together. Usually during Rec time. We will sit somewhere in the gym and study and read the Bible. I slowly start working some of the truths you have revealed to me. So far so good. I also go to the chapel here on Sunday. Not to fellowship or anything like that, but to bring your pamphlets and the true teachings of Jesus with me. It’s a place to meet people who want to follow Jesus, but might just be confused.

Preston, IN

My Dearest Bro.,

I don’t know if you remember but just a few weeks ago I sent you $ for a workbook. I was getting so much out of it, well the devil tried to complicate my study because somehow my little dog tore up the first half of that workbook. Well brother even though I paid for the last book, I don’t have any money for another one right now, but I was hoping, please if you could, send me another one. I will promise you I will send you a healthy donation very soon. Well, thank you my brother and may God bless you in all your work. My brothers were getting so much out of it. But my little dog destroyed it. I am sorry. But please, please, please send me another one.

William, CA (paroled home)

Dear Brother Ron,

I just wanted to write a short letter to let you know how well things are going here. We are up to 5 persons that we minister to every week and it’s a joy sharing God’s Word. Alexs and the others have a great time reading the workbook. It’s surprising how many small details in Scripture that many used to "hang-up" on. Once we find the truth and share with others they say, "Wow, I never understood that part of the Bible. I’m really interested more and more." Many grew up in homes that taught "something amiss" and not having the proper understanding they sometimes shy away for further study. Study becomes joyful with proper understanding.

Robert, TX

Ron,

Your book could be called, "book of tears" because learning comes with tears, grief and pain which I am sure you have experienced at one time or another. For a man cannot understand God when he is young and happy and ignorant. He can only know God through sorrow, his own sorrow, and the agony and sorrow of tears. Your book is precious.

Ronald, IL

Brother Ron,

I did receive the book this time. Wow, it’s powerful. You sent it even though I had nothing to give. Thank you. This book is opening up my understanding. You must have put some fire under somebody because it got here pretty fast. I went to the hole back then due to anger issues. Now I want to change my life. I pass out your fliers, putting them underneath cell doors as I pass, leaving them in the day room, passing them on controlled movement, spreading them all over the outdoor rec. I also spoke with a young gentleman who said he was going to send you $10 for his own copy when he goes home. I am sharing the book with him and he says it’s interesting.

Chris, CA

Dear Ronald John,

Thank you for the letter. I would really love the book. It has all the features I love: facts and scriptures to back up those facts. I can’t afford 10 stamps right now. But would love to do the workbook.

Mark, CA

Hello Ron,

I got my newsletter last night and am sorry to hear things are so rough right now. I will pray that God will show favor on your ministry and help you keep it going. I wrote my mom last week and asked her to send you $100 for me. I will definitely try and beat the bushes for you and see if I can get some of these guys in here to try and help. Ron, sometimes I feel like I am growing and am proud of my study habits and what I’ve learned. A big part of that is from your book. At other times I feel like I still have such a long way to go. I still have problems at home too. But last night I prayed that God helps me get over that hump where nothing else matters but serving Him. All I can do is keep plugging away and study and pray everyday and do the best I can. I pray for your ministry and mom’s situation to get better.

Danny, CA

Dear Brother in Christ,

Thank you for your last letter. I want to let you know that I received the book. I also wanted to thank you for sending the sheet of the signs of the alphabet. I’m finding that sign language is fun. I try daily to be the friend that Jesus wants me to be. I certainly hope that someday I will be able to hear His voice. I can’t wait to start reading your book. I’ll probably start it this evening.

Matthew, CA

Dear Brother Ronald,

Thank you for the flyers and the letter. I appreciate it. I have done some other study courses on the Seventh-day Sabbath. Everything in these publications points towards the Seventh-day Sabbath as the only Sabbath. How true. Whether people agree or not they got one thing right, the only day of worship is Saturday. I was baptized as a Sabbath keeper a few years back. I must admit, they definitely verify as true everything you’ve spoken of in your book. I became real interested in the various translations of the Bible after reading about how you explained the variances between the KJV and NIV. I will write you for more applications for your book and I myself will probably be due to purchase another "Change Your Life Biblically" as my copy is literally being held together by TNT (Tape N Toothpaste) after much use.

Michael, CA

Dear Ministry,

I was given your address as a source of Bible Studies and possibly some type of Christian newsletter. All I really want to do is serve Him to the best of my abilities and live the Word as He asks of us.

David, FL

To Whom it may concern,

I just received this information about changing my life biblically from a fellow inmate housed in the same facility as I’m in. I would love to receive the workbook, "Change Your Life Biblically" to help me understand and also learn more about my Savior, Jesus Christ. I ask with all do respect if you can send me material to get closer to God.

Eduardo, CA

Dear Brother Ron,

A hearty welcome from Colorado. I have been getting your newsletters for about a year now. How you got my name and address, only the LORD knows! But Praise God! Yes, I too would like to have a nice talk with you on the phone as per your suggestion in your last letter. So here we are! I have only been able to help your ministry to a little extent. If I can sell some autos and other personal items I will be able to help you more. Please pray about this. There are so many holes in God’s Work; so many places that need funds. But If I can realign my thinking to your state of mind, I will have more to give. I have no job, no real income (a small pension), no social security (too young), etc. So, somewhat like you, but I still do not have that faith that I need to live day by day as you apparently do. I need to stretch out my green cord more. You sound like you are getting bedraggled and about burned out. You need a rest or you will be spent and the Lord’s work will suffer. You need a vacation, pure and simple. Remember, The LORD will not withhold any good thing. Psalm 84:11

Sincerely in the Love of Jesus,

Frank, CO (Non-Inmate)

Hi guys,

Sorry about the delay in emailing you back. Sunday had to work, got home at 12:00 a.m. and had to get back up the next day to go to my regular job. As a matter of fact, my nephew, Michael, went along with me on Sunday to work and was able to "get on" for work. He was happy. So was my sister. My sister thanked me for encouraging him to go to work. He is trying. He has such a different attitude now. So much more humble and calm. As he was sitting and waiting for me before work on Sunday while I ate lunch he apologized to me for his previous behavior. He and I (I have Thursday off) will be going to work together in Anaheim to see about getting some work.

He’s not doing drugs and seems to be real focused on getting a job and saving up money. It feels so good to see the change in him. I believe that my staying clean and having the job I have at Kenwood may be playing a big part in motivating him. He has lots of support from his family. Again, I am so happy to have a family member working on cleaning up his life. I think I have to also thank you, Ron. He told me that his old cellie and you use to correspond with each other. I am sure you remember when you told me that my nephew asked you to tell me that he said hello. Again, thanks.

Well, it’s late and I better be going. I will talk or email you again soon.

Love always,

Juan, CA (Ex-inmate)

Folks, as you can see, one soul redeemed influences hundreds more. That is what true Christianity is all about. Each one of us is obligated as a Christian to be bringing at least one person to the Lord each year, personally. That does not mean to "church" or to your pastor or to your denomination. That means that each of us must personally be responsible to bring one person to the truth as Jesus taught it. That is what "Change Your Life Biblically" is all about: following the example of Jesus.

This ministry is here to help you accomplish your mission. You may contact us and ask for the material to help you in your personal missionary work.

Dear Ron,

Hi. I was writing to inquire about your monthly newsletter and how I could receive a copy of it. I was given your address by Danny. He’s my best friend.

Laurie, CA

Dear Brother Ron,

Wow, you are old. Ha, ha. I thought you were in your late thirties or early forties. I’m 24 and still young. I didn’t think I’d make it to see 16 when I was 13. I was running the streets using the drugs. I went to foster care at 14. That really helped me. I’ve always had step dads, but they never treated me like a son. I never knew my real dad.

Anthony, NV

Ron,

Thank you very much for sending me "Change Your Life Biblically". I glanced through it and I already know I will learn and enjoy it. I will do what you suggested and read it twice before doing the answer sheets. I will write to you and let you know how it goes. And please feel free to write to me and tell me anything else you know about creation.

Tomas, CA

Hello Ronald,

I completed a request sheet for a copy of your Bible. I am indigent at this time. A person that I met in here told me about your Bible Study and I feel that it is more accurate to my own beliefs.

Dean, CA

Hi,

I’m writing in regards to your book, "Change Your Life Biblically". I seen another inmate with your book. I’m an indigent inmate who is doing a life sentence and really do need a change in my life. This life I’m leading just isn’t doing it anymore. I do appreciate it if you can send me a copy and any other literature I can read.

Andrew, CA

Hello,

I was on line looking at your web site and was requesting a prisoner’s name be added to your mailing list. I was requesting "Change Your Life Biblically" and other Christian Literature. Below I included his mailing address.

Unknown

Dear Jesus Christ Prison Ministry,

I am writing to ask you if you would please send me a copy of the book, "Change Your Life Biblically". A Christian brother here referred me to you. I would like to make a drastic change in my life and "Biblically" seems like the best way to go.

John, CA

Dear Prison Ministry,

I am writing to you about getting involved in your program. A good friend of mine told me about your program and stated that it would be something I would enjoy being a part of. So, if it is possible, I would like to receive your workbook, "Change Your Life Biblically".

A.D., IL

"How little do we enter into sympathy with Christ on that which should be the strongest bond of union between us and Him--compassion for depraved, guilty, suffering souls, dead in trespasses and sins! The inhumanity of man toward man is our greatest sin. Many think that they are representing the justice of God while they wholly fail of representing His tenderness and His great love. Often the ones whom they meet with sternness and severity are under the stress of temptation. Satan is wrestling with these souls, and harsh, unsympathetic words discourage them and cause them to fall a prey to the tempter’s power." {MH 163.2}

I would like to share with each of you the progress we are slowly making in translating the book into Spanish. First we are translating it on the web so all the Spanish speaking people in the world with access to a computer can read it. Then we will transfer it to the book. Those of you with access to the web may follow our Spanish progress at: www.jcpm.com Then click on "Espanol"

Thank you for your support. We are still struggling to wipe out our debt. If you have anything you can sell or do to help us wipe out this debt, God bless you,

Ron and Son
